What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?

By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
How can I cancel or change my booking?

Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
Can I transfer my reservation to another person?

Great place to stop for a few days

It’s our second time at the davinci hotel
And it’s in a great spot for shopping and food options
Staff are friendly and helpful
Breakfast was okay- but I noticed the standard had slipped this time and wasn’t as good as previous year but still average
I wouldn’t eat dinner there again but you don’t need to as there ar plenty of options close by
Overall it’s a lovely little hotel and staff are great

This hotel has been a "home away from home" for me for the past few years now. It's conveniently located in close proximity to the shopping mall. Excellent

It was a very pleasant and relaxing hotel. My wife and daughter and I stayed in this hotel for two nights in March 2024. The staff were very friendly. The food was very tasty and hearty. Everything was perfect. The pool was small but cozy. We could sit next to it and study.

Fabulous stay at the DaVinci Hotel

My stay was absolutely amazing. The staff were brilliant, the food was amazing. The room had all the bells and whistles I will be back, Nespresso coffee machine, robes, slippers and Charlotte Rhys products. Great linen and lovely fluffy pillows.

Not all all impressed.

We are staying here at the mooment and really not impressed. Booked a superior room and requested twin beds. When we checked in we were given a standard and told that all superiors were king-size. Why weren't we informed when we booked. They wrte happy to take our money for a room that doesn't exist. No refund fir the difference given.
In addition we got back at 7.30 pm from a day out. Room not serviced so now nearly an hour later are sitting in reception waiting whilethey clean it. Not even offered refreshments of any sort which is the very least they can do.

Tutto perfetto

Che Johannesburg sia una città pericolosa non è un opinione ma un dato assolutamente oggettivo : lo dicono le guide, lo dice la gente del posto che più volte lo raccomanda ai turisti, x cui è meglio soggiornare in un posto che ti permetta di stare bene e di poter fare due passi con serenità . L’albergo è in pieno centro di Sandton ( quartiere tra i più tranquilli della città ) attaccato ad un gigantesco centro commerciale ( entri direttamente tramite l’ascensore dello stesso hotel ) e ti permette di sbucare in un minuto in Nelson Mandela Square : piazza piena di ristoranti e zona super sicura.
Veniamo all’albergo : servizio alla reception eccellente, colazione ottima , disponibilità del personale impeccabile, camere belle , moderne , pulite, e ben tenute. Bella pure la SPA. Ci siamo trovati benissimo . Consigliato sotto tutti i punti di vista.

CI SONO TORNATA E CI RITONEREI ANCORA

Essendomi trovata benissimo nel 2014 non ho esitato a sceglierlo nuovamente! Non solo per la posizione (in pieno centro e vicinissimo alla fermata Gautrain, che comunque puó essere anche raggiunta dal servizio navetta messo a disposizione dell’ albergo) Puó non piacere l arredo “Black and White” ma il tutto è veramente armonico e di buon gusto. Personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile per soddisfare ogni esigenza. Belle le stanze (sono stata in differenti date nel mese di giugno ed entrambe le stanze erano molto belle) e sono provviste di tutto e la macchina nespresso è veramente un plus! Anche la colazione è ottima con una scelta varia e abbondante.
Una particolare nota di merito e che mi ha lasciato senza parole e assolutamente incredula positivamente è che per mia disattenzione una mattina ho lasciato la cassaforte spalancata con un ingente quantità di denaro, telefono satellitare più altro telefono, macchine fotografiche e altri oggetti di valore; tornata la sera trovo una lettera in stanza che mi avvisava che avevo lasciato oggetti di valore incustoditi. La security aveva provveduto a redigere una lista con tutto quanto era stato rinvenuto e provveduto a chiudere la cassaforte. Non era stato toccato nulla, neanche un centesimo e tutti gli oggetti erano al loro posto. Non ci speravo proprio e sono sicura che non sarebbe successo lo stesso in moltri altri alberghi. La pulizia della stanza viene effettuata 2 volte al giorno. Se proprio devo trovare una pecca, e devo sforzarmi tanto, sono gli slippers forniti in stanza non in linea con la qualità del resto dell’ hotel. Ma è una sciocchezza e l ho voluta evidenziare sperando che la direzione ne prenda nota.
Un pochino in disappunto con il late check out offertomi (late check out concesso fino alle ore 12.) ma comunque mi sento di consigliare vivamente quest'hotel.
Un consiglio per le camere a chi fuma. La 604 ha l accesso su una terrazza come credo anche altre quattro stanze in quel lato (forse 602/606/608)

Nuitée exceptionnelle

Nous avons passé une nuitée au DaVinci Hôtel and Suites et notre seul regret est de ne pas être resté plus longtemps !
C’est un hôtel de haut standing en plein cœur du centre d’affaires de Johannesburg.
Nous étions en Exécutive Room, une chambre très agréable, avec tout le confort souhaité. L’accueil et le service du personnel correspond au standing haut de gamme de l’hôtel, les repas sont bons et petit déjeuner variés.
Cet hôtel donne un accès direct à une galerie commerciale et un « mall » où l’on peut se perdre facilement tant il y’a de magasins, restaurants. A ne pas louper pour les accrocs au shopping...il y en a pour tous les budgets et pour tous les goûts. Les cartes bleues vont chauffer...

Un peu déçu de cet hôtel

Un peu déçu par cet hôtel.
L'établissement est joli la suite spacieuse bien décorée mais les prestations ne suivent pas. Avare en produits nous sommes restés 4 jours les produits n'ont pas été remplacés. Le service de nuit négligé être dans une suite et dormir dans des draps déchirés ??
La chambre n'était pas très propre non plus.
L'info est arrivé à la direction qui nous a appelé et a voulu nous offrir du vin ou du chocolat, bien gentil à eux. Le petit déjeuner peu varier en comparaison des autres 5* autour. Service transport cher. Trop de points négatifs qui gâchent la beauté de l'établissement.
