- What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.

Poor experience left us with no option but to walk out.
Having booked many weeks ago (from Australia) for the Sunday roast our group of three adults arrived at Rosa et Al today. We were met with puzzled staff and sat at a table dirty with bird poo. We ordered water and three Porto tonicos (all on the menu) then waited for a long time sitting in the heat only to be eventually told there was no sparkling water and no Porto tonicos. Furthermore when we asked for the roast (also on the menu and advertised very prominently on their website) we were eventually told there wasn’t a Sunday roast today?!?!? Today is the first Sunday of the month and I had booked for the roast expecting a lovely local Portuguese flavoured lunch in the courtyard garden. The staff were not overly nice and could not explain why there was no contact made prior to our arrival given I had specifically reserved for the lunch weeks ago. Just cannot recommend making any effort to seek out Rosa et Al. We were gracious in our retreat but angry that we had made the effort in prior reservations, missed out on Sunday lunch (lots of Porto restaurants are closed on Sunday so it took a few hours to find an alternative lunch venue) and the attitude of the staff overall. Would not, could not recommend this venue on your Porto itinerary.

The Townhouse is known by our brunches, our supreme benedicts, pancakes and scones. For a long time we included an event that happens once a month that celebrate the Sunday Roast - a experience that goes along the ethos of the house in including a British standard of lazy Sundays family gatherings. Indeed we mix our roots in all we do, so a bit of portuguese flavours will be added to any experience.
These last Sunday we had a very busy and over the top weekend in the town-house and indeed we got sold out and even some shortages of items in the menu. For that we are very sorry, and if it looked that the staff that was buzzing around was not giving you the best information and service and for that we indeed are very sorry for that experience.
But most of all we are sorry that you felt disappointed and that our team was not able to show you why we couldn't perform the Sunday roast and were not able to show you the available options.
There was indeed a big error of having you has a booking for Sunday Roast that the service did not reserve the portions for you - but as this menu its always a surprise, my team indeed failed to call you and to prepare you with the Menu of this months and accomodate your needs.
Either way and again thanks for your visit and the opportunity to go online and explain our offer and services.

Excellent Boutique Hotel
I have to start with the staff. Everyone of them was friendly, polite and an absolute joy to be with. The room was light and airy and very well appointed. The only time we ate in the hotel was at breakfast which was top class, particularly the array of different porridges on offer. We will definately return.

homemade comforting food & cozy elegant environment
Beautiful place to enjoy brunch or breakfast. Their specialty coffee is artisanal made and it's maybe the best one you can find in Porto. Calm and relaxing vibes and the decor is certainly interesting and classy.
For food, you'll find a vast array of porridges, toasts (homemade sourdough bread, yum!), eggs (eggs benny is my all time favourite), and freshly made pastries. There's also homemade yoghurt, which you can get with fruit salad or granola. Each day they have a different kind of cake, from ginger, lemon and silver cake, if you're into a delicious surprise factor.
Truly a gem, worth a pop in! Afterwards you can enjoy the trail through the art galleries, boutiques, and decor shops of the neighborhood.
