The Drum Beat Hotel
An excellent 4 Star room, clean with a polished timber floor. A friendly staff. Loved the hotel until right this moment. It’s after 11 pm. I’m jet lagged after a 20 flight to Europe from Australia, there’s an ear-splitting drum beat from a restaurant under my window. THUMP…THUMP..…BANG BANG! So loud it comes close to making the glass of the windows rattle. Utterly impossible to sleep. Ear pads don’t work against this window-shaking racket. Why the drums in a residential zone? Why doesn’t the management get the police to enforce the law on noise? So stay at this hotel if you can do with entirely sleepless nights. BANG BANG BANG!

Stylish hotel with unbeatable location
Stayed in a Deluxe room, and whilst you could see the top of the Duomo Cathedral spire over the roof tops, most of the view was of the internal space/void between wings.
Notwithstanding that, it was a classy hotel with great decor and atmosphere and generally good customer service, particularly the room servicing personal.
Breakfast offering was extensive and of highest quality and we looked forward to it each morning of our 5 night stay.
Location was absolutely unbeatable, with a 30 second walk only to the Duomo cathedral and main square and fashion district etc....right in the heart of everything a visitor could want.
Highly recommended.

Such a convenient hotel to stay, everything is close by-Il Duamo, Hop On Hop Off Bus, shopping, restaurants.
