Only ok if you r out all day
More money spent in the lounge area than anywhere else. Our room was OK for sleeping in, but I couldn't stay in there for the day. Walls were all marked up, shower tiles need re-grouting, hatch above shower fell open, make up stains on net curtains. Upside is that it was a queen bed with own quilt, so plenty of space and no waking up to partner with all the quilt.

Avoid- nothing like the brochure
Booked this hotel through Jet2 holidays, it is listed as 4* and the pictures online looked nice. However the reality is very different, more like a hostel and nothing like the photos.
Our room was small with dark dated furniture, the floor and headboard was dusty and phone and remote control filthy. The pillows were lumpy, there’s no pillow or mattress protector. The rooms all smell of cigarettes although we were told we’d be fined €100 for smoking. As an asthmatic this place made me ill.
The bathroom only had a glass door so no privacy. We had 2 small thin bath towels and a small hand towel for 2 people.
There’s no kettle or mini-bar, just a leaking fridge. Wallpaper is peeling off and marked.
There was no soundproofing- we could hear all noises in the corridors- a couple had a full on argument, then there was loud music and slamming doors- my daughter was petrified.
There’s no bar open downstairs and breakfast was disappointing- watered down juice and broken cereal dispensers.
The area outside didn’t feel safe either for me and my daughter- there’s a 24 hour alcohol and tobacco shop over the road.
Complained to Jet2 who promised to move us but never bothered getting back to us even though I told them my daughter was so distressed- very poor customer service.
Luckily the independent travel agent we booked through helped us out.
Definitely avoid.

Hell hole of a hotel
When we arrive to check in the entrance was light, bright and looked lovely. We began checking in and the man behind the desk seemed nice however he then began casually swearing and cracking inappropriate jokes?? once we had our key we took the lift upstairs to the room. As we opened the door we were greeted with a dingy/small room. We put our things down and didn’t notice anything at first, as we began to unpack we saw how dirty & grubby the room actually was. There was exposed dirty water sprinklers on the wall, stains from where paintings have been removed and the walls not cleaned. The curtains were also covered in stains? desk was full of chips, paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling, the bathroom looked straight into the bedroom, the “mini bar” is just a warm fridge, air con didn’t work, pillows were lumpy and the spare pillow in the cupboard had no pillow case and were covered in yellow stains. I went down to reception to ask for another and was told they don’t have any.

We rang the airline company we’d booked through to ask for advice and they were amazing! they told the hotel to show us other rooms and allow us to move. As we got to reception we were told the manager would be with us to show us the new rooms and to wait. We were handed a piece of paper to write down the things wrong with the room on by the young man behind the reception (this young man was very! helpful, about the only person there who was). We handed the note back and the young man was noticeably shocked at how long the list was. After waiting about 15 minutes there was no sign of the manager and the young man returned, he handed us a room key and gave us some instructions on how to get to the room. We took the lift to the correct floor and soon realised to get to the new room we had to cross the fire escape esque balcony? It wasn’t sturdy, looked straight down to the reception and was grated so we were unable to pull our cases across it. Luckily my partner is physically able to lift the heavy cases and carry them otherwise we’d have had absolutely no chance. As someone who is afraid of heights this was an awful experience.

We got to the “new room” to be greeted by the most horrendous stagnant smell. We walked further in the room and noticed it was exactly the same as the last just bigger? Fridge was dirty, bathroom covered in mould/mildew, white stains/drips down the walls, lumpy stained pillows, the toilet brush and holder was full of dirty water, A/C broken & the toilet didn’t work/flush so just left trickling.

Apart from the one young man we dealt with the staff were rude, arrogant and unwilling to help. We always book 3 ⭐️ hotels and have never had a problem at all but this being classed as a 4 ⭐️ hotel is beyond a joke. I would tell absolutely everyone to steer clear of this hotel, it completely ruined the start of our holiday. Luckily the airline we traveled with were able to move us to a new hotel. I wouldn’t even say the location makes up for this hotel! there are absolutely no Pros to it.

It's an OK Hotel
The hotel is ok, the rooms are ok, the breakfast is ok. It's basically all ok. Nothing outstanding, it simply is a basic clean hotel. there were a lot of little things that made it a little odd, the fact the bed sheets don't fit the beds is really odd. The hot food at breakfast was always cold.
It is in a good position for sight seeing, so that's a bonus if you find yourself checking in here.

Indigne d'un 4 étoiles.
Seul point vraiment positif : la situation de l'hôtel, quartier agréable et calme, proche des transports.
Pour le reste : grosse déception, personnel peu à l'écoute, chambre (la 507, pour 3 nuits) indigne d'un 4*, mobilier démodé et abîmé, peinture défraîchie avec nombreuses traces sur les murs, abat-jour près du lit cassé et rafistolé, couvre-lit troué, poignée de porte de la salle de bains placée de travers avec impossibilité de fermeture de porte, traces sur le linge de toilette, et surtout odeur de fumée de cigarette en entrant la première fois dans la chambre (fenêtre laissée entrebaillée avec vue sur une coursive extérieure réservée aux fumeurs )...un comble pour un hôtel non fumeur ! !
Côté petit déjeuner : pas mieux, très quelconque, sauf le pain et le café. Cerise sur le gâteau : pas de miel à disposition. Quand on en fait la demande, on vous en sort une mini dosette (surtout pas plus), qui était bien cachée dans un placard.
Au total, grosse déception.

Good Hotel
Don't be put off by negative reviews. All staff were very polite and helpful especially Victoria Cleaner who gave fresh towels daily even though we did'nt request them and kept the room very clean during our stay and was always smiling.
Yes the rooms are a little dark but we found the decor quirky and some furniture was chipped in places but our beds were clean and had mattress protectors on both. Breakfast was okay more continental than hot but suited us.
We enjoyed our stay the hotel is a 2 min walk from all transport buses tram and metro that will take you to all attractions. A bonus for us was we are both 70 and Seniors travel on all transport free just carry passport for proof of age if asked to show otherwise just jump on at double doors not at driver door.

La habitación es pequeña y bastante mediocre la verdad, cosas rotas tanto en el baño como en toda la habitación.

Los asientos del loby pueden limpiarlos un poco
Las sábanas en ningún momento no las cambiaron .
En fin positivo la ubicación y algún empleado.
Por lo demás el hotel necesita algo de mantenimiento y arreglos.

Muy buena relación calidad/precio y excelente ubicación.
Hemos pasado 4 días en este hotel para visitar Budapest y ha sido un acierto.
Las habitaciones amplias, limpias y decoración bien. Si bien he de decir que algunas habitaciones (la nuestra) requería pasar por un patio y pasarela para su acceso y cuando llegamos con las maletas fue incómodo por la estrechez del paso. El resto de días no supone demasiado problema.
El personal muy amable y atento. Teníamos contratado el desayuno, y el comedor está muy bien, y la comida es variada (cambia cada día) y bastante buena.
La situación: a 10/15 minutos del centro, con paradas de tranvía/bus muy cerca. Con el plus de tener el café Nueva York a 50 mts, además hay cerca cantidad de restaurantes, cafeterías, "ruin bars" (busca y verás a que me refiero) y supermercados alrededor.
Está muy bien ubicado y si eres de los que no le importa andar, llegas a pie a varias de las cosas a ver en la ciudad en pocos minutos como la sinagoga, el parlamento, etc.
Me lo recomendó la agencia de viajes y la verdad fue un acierto.

Beim Einchecken wollte man uns erstmal doppelt abkassieren. Wir hatten Anzahlung geleistet, welche sie nochmal haben wollten. Nach einer Diskussion hatte die Rezeptionistin nachgegeben und gesagt „Es wäre ihr erster Tag“ (was wir in den 4 Tagen Aufenthalt mehrmals gehört hatten, also stimmte dies nicht). Dann sind wir aufs Zimmer und es war die reinste Katastrophe. Alles alt, kaputt, eng und vorallem sehr dreckig und verschimmelt. Sogar unser Handtuch hatte ein Loch. Nach beschwerde beim Manager haben wir eine Suite bekommen, welche besser war, jedoch immernoch verstaubt. Das Frühstück war ganz in Ordnung und die Lage Top. Deswegen gibt ws hier auch 2 Sterne.

Ho prepagato questo hotel 146 euro per 2 notti con la prima colazione. Arriviamo... reception carina. Ci accolgono 2 ragazzi giovani che ci spiegano le varie possibili attività da fare a Budapest. Saliamo in camera .. ORRORE.. capelli incastrato in pezzi di cotone ai piedi del letto, asciugamani con buchi enormi, puzza di fogna e stanza piccolissima con nemmeno la possibilità di appoggiare 2 zaini... nemmeno 2 valigie... Scendo e faccio presente tutto ciò chiedendo di essere spostata di stanza. Mi dicono che in 5mn salgono per verificare...passati 20mn facciamo i bagagli e scendiamo per andarcene... Alla reception erano lì belli belli in 2 con una coppia di clienti.. faccio presente che non è un comportamento degno di un 4 stelle e chiedo di fare check out... Non ci hanno nemmeno provato a fermarci e a dire che ci avrebbero subito cambiato stanza! Vergognosi....ora farò scrivere dall'avvocato....

No volvería !!! Falta de mantenimiento y sucio.
El Hotel se vende como de 4 estrellas pero como mucho son 2. Veníamos recorriendo europa y nunca nos paso no solo que la habitación es muy vieja y von falta de mantenimiento sino con manchas de humedad y todo muy viejo y gastado. Sino que al querer sacar una almohada extra encontramos un sweter y medias usadas de alguien, pelos en la almohada PESIMO !!! Nos quejamos con recepción, no nos cambiaron de habitación y Después de quejarnos nuevamente y hablar con el gerente, nos dieron un espumante muy ordinario que no tomamos. Sin dudas NO ES RECOMENDABLE, por mucho menos hay mejores hoteles y la recepción 0 atención, solo buscan llenar el hotel.

Soho Hôtel Budapest
Faites très attention car on m'a volé mon flacon tout neuf de chez Guerlain à l'hôtel Soho. Nous avions été logés par Voyage Privé dans une suite car au départ, nous ne devions pas être logés dans cet hôtel. Il y a eu un bug à l'arrivée à Budapest et nous n'avions aucune réservation qui avait été faite dans un hôtel à Budapest. Donc pour s'excuser, Voyage Privé nous a logé à l'hôtel Soho dans une suite ( le mot ne correspond pas à ce que nous avons trouvé). Drap et serviette trouė. Décoration de très mauvais goût.

Stadthotel mit kleinen Mängeln
Das Soho Hotel liegt relativ zentral in Budapest. Wir haben anlässlich des 120jährigen Jubiläums von Harley-Davidson im Hotel übernachtet.
Die Zimmer sind relativ klein, die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist ok. Das Bad ist vom Zimmer durch eine Milchglasscheibe abgetrennt, das ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich.
Etwas problematisch gestaltete sich das Parken. Das Hotel verfügt zwar über eine Parkgarage, diese war aber ausgebucht. Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist eng und stark befahren, so dass es kaum Parkplätze gibt. Zwei öffentliche Parkhäuser sind fußläufig erreichbar, diese sind aber mit ca. 30€ pro Tag recht teuer.
Abends kann man im Hotelfoyer den Tag ausklingen lassen. Hier gibt es eine durchgängig geöffnete Bar mit einer ansprechenden Getränkeauswahl.

Mal hotel
Dice 4 estrellas y le daria solo 2 estrellas por estar enfrente del Cafe New York, llegamos y el lavabo estaba tapado de agua el tapon estaba atorado,nos ponian solo dos toallas y un dia una rota(tengo foto) era tan pequeña la habitacion que no se podia entrar a la cama, hizo frio y pedimos unas mantas extras y todavia la edtamos esperando, jamas nos las dieron, la calle donde esta el hotel esta lleno de homless de todo tipo y mejor aqui dejo, he esrado en Hoteles de medio mundo pero jamas en uno tan malo. No recomiendo.

Proche de tout
Hôtel sympa proche de toute commodité. Pas de déjeuner ni dîner mais petit déjeuner très varié en sucré comme en salé. Le personnel est agréable et répond à vos sollicitations. La chambre est propre avec tout ce qu il y faut. Le point négatif et c'est le seul c est le bruit parfois qui vient de l'extérieur. Je recommande cet hôtel avec ascenseur. Merci à Soho Hôtel !!!

Agréable barmaid
J'ai eu la chance de faire un passage par cet hôtel qui est très bien localisé pas très loin de Blaha et le café new york près de tt types de transports et accommodation, des chambres uniques et confortables un service excellent avec un personnel chaleureux et accueillant, spéciale note pour la barmaid "Laura" qui est gentille et serviable et très sympa surtout.
Je recommande.

Simple et efficace
Hôtel plutôt moderne, propre, sans prétention et idéalement situé.

Parties pour un anniversaire mon amie et moi y avons passé un agréable séjour.

Le petit déjeuner était plutôt varié mais pour notre dernier petit déjeuner, les œufs brouillés, saussaies, etc, étaient froid et ils n'ont pas voulu réchauffer les plats pour nous, peut être parce que nous n'étions que deux dans la salle. (il était 9h)

Sehr kleine Zimmer und sehr eng,. Ein doppeltzimmer ist sehr klein. Mit zwei Personen im Zimmer kaum Bewegung Möglichkeiten.Das Bad auch sehr klein. Spinngewebe an der Decke, die Beleuchtung sehr sparsam, es ist nicht so grade hell im Raum.
Das Frühstück, sagen mal wir; " man wird satt "
Das Personal sehr nett. Die Lage ist gut zentral, zum Cafe New York sind nur 2 min .
Zum Metro Blaha Lujza auch ganz nah.

Budapest Städtereise
Das Shoho Hotel liegt Central , unser Zimmer war sauber. Das Frühstück war Ok. Das Frühstückpersonal unmotiviert. Die Erdbeeren die daneben gefallen waren hat der junge Mann einfach wieder mit den Händen auf den Teller gelegt. Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall kein 4 Sterne Hotel!!!.

Nicht nochmal
Die viele guten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, das Zimmer war winzig und dunkel. Ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Die Größe meines Zimmers war keine Ausnahme, auf dem Plan konnte ich sehen, dass alle Zimmer dieser Etage gleich klein waren.
Dazu kommt Cappuccino der den Namen nicht verdient und leider war auch das Personal war nicht besonders freundlich. Die vier Sterne kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.
