mis vacaciones en ibagué.
La mejor noche del mundo de verdad que hotel comparado con otros en los que me he alojado, las camas limpias, la comida deliciosa, la atención impecable, la ubicación muy buena, el desayuno exquisito. Todo fue muy bueno cercano al aeropuerto.

Good and Bad!
The hotel has a very convenient location. It is located on the top floors of a shopping mall. And it is close to other malls and lots of restaurants. The rooms were clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. All staff were friendly, polite and helpful. However, the front desk is totally unorganized. For example, at the end, when I was paying the bill, I was given a total sum of what I owed. No itemized bill was provided. And when I asked, I was told it was not available. Finally I was given a group of receipts to review. But no way to check to see what was actually posted to the account. The service in the restaurant was painfully slow, food average. Again, staff were polite and friendly, but totally unorganized meal service.
The rooftop pool and bar were beautiful. So was the long balcony alongside the restaurant. So a lot of good things. But I think I will try another hotel next time.

Decent option but lots of improvements needed
The hotel is ok. The staff for the most part is courteous and pleasant. I had a number of issues during my stay that were eventually resolved but required consistent follow up from my side. The physical side of the hotel is ok with good rooms, beddings, towels, etc. the restaurant is also ok. Nothing particularly special with the hotel, the only thing that stands out is the rudeness of one of the guards on the first floor named Andres, this person should not be working in a public facing job. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Struttura in sé molto bella e stanza ampia e tutto sommato pulita ma carente servizio colazione e, soprattutto, poca conoscenza della lingua inglese sia in reception che il personale in sala. Non è accettabile per quello che è probabilmente il miglior hotel della città.

How you stayed for a week on this hotel. I just gonna say that it was fabulous. I stay with my family and he’s very nice when you can go easily to the gym, to the shopping mall, the area near to the hotel is very good. The bathroom it was very nice, the swimming pool has a great view. The food for buffet is very good, good quality.

Excellent in every single way
I went to Ibagué due to a family emergency. Booked this hotel because of price and reviews. I was surprised, i didn’t expect to find this quality and care for this price and in a small city like Ibagué. The welcoming from Luis Carlos, the guy who received me at the entrance; he disinfected my luggage and every day made me smile. He was not just polite and extremely nice, he recommended places to eat and ways to save money in transportation, etc. The check in was fast, girls are nice and make sure you disinfect your hands all the time. You must use mask in the hotel and even on the streets people keep it on everywhere. Breakfast was free, delicious and had great variety and Jarsen (not sure about the spelling) was sweet, polite and extremely diligent with any of my needs. They have different shifts to serve breakfast to avoid many people at once. Tables are disinfected after every use. The cleanliness of the bedroom and every area of the hotel makes it look like new every day. Bedroom had safety box, toiletries, tv, hair dryer and small fridge replenished every day without charging you an arm and a leg. The pool and wet areas were just great even though I didn’t have too much time to enjoy them. Room service is very good and serves until 12am anything in the menu at any time including breakfast. Location is very central, there is a mall in the front of the building, bares, a bakery to have just made buñuelos and pandebonos, and great inexpensive restaurants walk distance. I had everything around me. Cabs are inexpensive in Ibague too. The longest ride was to the airport for about Us $20 or less. The concierge will call it for you and will log in a record so you can ride safe. I just can’t stop saying how wonderful the hotel, people and service are. They really care about you feeling happy and special. THANKS SO MUCH GUYS FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. You made a stressful moment in my life very pleasant.

Unerwartet tolles Hotel in der kolumbianischen Provinz
Eingeladen zu einer Hochzeit waren wir als Familie zum ersten mal in Kolumbien. Die Hochzeit fand am Geburtsort der Braut, Ibague, statt und bei unseren ersten Reiseplanungen merkten wir schnell, dass es sich ganz sicher nicht um ein typisch touristisches Ziel handelt, obwohl die Stadt wohl mehr als 500.000 Einwohner hat.
Auf der Suche nach einem geeigneten Hoel kamen wir auf das Sonesta, im Nachhinein tatsächlich ein absoluter Glücksgriff.
Das Hotel liegt zentral angrenzend an das Acqua Shopping Center und ist in den oberen Etagen des Gebäude angesiedelt. Man hat aus quasi fast jedem Zimmer, aus dem Restaurant und vom Hotelpool auf dem Dach einen tollen Blick auf das Hinterland und die Stadt selber.

Das Personal selber gab sich größte Mühe, den deutschen Hochzeitsgästen den Aufenthalt so gut wie möglich zu gestalten, trotz so mancher Sprachbarriere. Aber immerhin sprachen hier diverse Hotelangestellte überhaupt Englisch, nirgendwo anders kamen wir in der restlichen Stadt mit Englisch weiter.

Die Zimmer sind sehr hochwertig eingerichtet, die Klimaanlage tat Gott sei Dank zuverlässig ihren Dienst und der Pool auf dem Dach war top, auch wenn man nur mit Kopfbedeckung ! schwimmen durfte.

Auch der Zimmerservice funktionierte trotz Sprachbarriere erstaunlich gut, das Frühstück war kolumbianisch, aber durchaus interessant und schmackhaft.

Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt in einem Hotel, dass sich vor europäischen Standards überhaupt nicht verstecken muss

Superbe
Nous étions de passage dans la région et avions réservé une chambre dans cet hôtel par hasard. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris. Le service au top, la chambre superbe, la piscine top également, et le petit déjeuner excellent !

Nous avons même regretté de ne pas avoir passé une deuxième nuit dans cet hôtel.

Nous le recommandons chaudement !
