The Sporthotel Romantic Plaza offers free wellness facilities, hydropool and cosy, well-equipped rooms right on Madonna di Campiglio's main square. The ski lifts and slopes are only 70 m away.
Opened in 1956, the Romantic Plaza features modern mountain-style rooms overlooking the Brenta Dolomites. Each comes with an LCD satellite TV and Wi-Fi internet. Some have a balcony and/or a spa bath.
At the Sporthotel you will find a lounge bar with fireplace, a TV room and library. There is a video games room and a terrace with mountain views.
The Romantic Plaza Sporthotel has its own swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath, tea room and much more. There is also a gym and ski instructors offering lessons for all levels. Nordic walking equipment and mountain bikes are available for free.
You can enjoy delicious regional food and wines at the hotel's restaurant. Breakfast is a varied sweet and savoury buffet with homemade and local products.

Fantastico week-end.
L'hotel si trova in posizione centrale, molto curato e con la presenza di legno sia nelle zone comuni che in stanza, che lo rende particolarmente tipico ed accogliente.
La SPA risulta essere un toccasana al rientro dalle escursioni.
Abbiamo sempre cenato in hotel, cibo ottimo e piatti molto curati, così come la colazione.
Tutto il personale si è dimostrato gentile e disponibile.
Consigliatissimo.
Ci torneremo molto volentieri.

All'insegna della "natura"
Vacanza iniziata con un inaspettato quanto gradito upgrade con la camera natura: molto graziosa, stile originale green e molto spaziosa! Hotel con standard alti di pulizia ed ottima posizione. Spa e piscina graziose ma un po' limitate negli spazi.

Poco professionali
Mi dispiace ma non ho buone recensioni. Il parcheggio auto non c’era e dopo un pom ci hanno parcheggiato l’ auto a 12 euro al giorno confermandomi che era al coperto poi per un imprevisto siamo dovuti andare via prima del periodo prenotato (già pagato per intero) e con sorpresa abbiamo capito che la nostra auto non era più nel parcheggio ma all’aperto ( infatti pioveva ed era tutta bagnata). Inoltre avevo dimenticato un effetto personale nella camera e me lo hanno fatto recapitare per posta dopo 4 solleciti telefonici dopo 20 gg e a mie spese (30 euro!). Per carineria, dato atto che gli abbiamo lasciato la camera e il vitto con diversi giorni pagati potevano inviarmi il tutto a loro spese….non sono un professionali !

per noi professionalità significa soddisfare al meglio le esigenze dell’Ospite: nel suo caso specifico riteniamo sia stato molto professionale l’upgrade da camera Comfort, da lei prenotata per 4 notti, in Junior Suite Panoramic senza alcun supplemento. Purtroppo c’è stata la partenza anticipata dovuta alla brutta disavventura che ci ha segnalato, ma noi a malincuore non siamo potuti intervenire in quanto la prenotazione era stata effettuata tramite agenzia. Il Romantic Plaza dispone di garage di proprietà sottostante l’albergo e di parcheggio a disposizione gratuitamente per tutta l’estate escluso 20 luglio/24 agosto. Per un errata comunicazione tra le Receptionist il suo pacchetto, complice anche il periodo caotico del Ferragosto e l’apertura sporadica dell’ufficio postale in quel di Campiglio, è stato spedito in ritardo. Se lo desidera possiamo accollarci le spesa di 30 euro che le rimborseremo tramite bonifico.

Surprisingly nice, charming and comfortable hotel.
It is a surprisingly nice, charming, quiet and comfortable hotel. The swimming pool and spa are fine. Situated between two ski lifts. The staff was amiable and helpful, the food was excellent and the rooms were clean. I will come back there.

Super week at sport hotel romantic
A fantastic stay, hotel very clean, perfect location in town and close to all amenities. We loved the afternoon cakes just what you need after a hard day skiing. The spa and pool were very relaxing and much needed. The only thing I would say is that the spa was only open for a few hours from afternoon to evening!

tolle Entspannung und gutes Essen
Sehr netter Empfang und gute Abstellmöglichkeiten unserer E-Bikes. Die Betten waren sehr entspannend und wir konnten unsere Regeneration dadurch verbessern. Ein Highlight war der große TV. Auch das Dinner und das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr gut, so dass wir gestärkt auf unsere letzte Alpencrossetappe starten konnten.

Very nice hotel in the center of Madonna di Campiglio
Me and my daughter had a very nice stay before and after our via ferrata trip in the mountains. We very much liked the staff, the service and the flexibility. The location of the hotel is perfect and it has all the necessary facilities.

Great stay for end of ski season
Very nice hotel with great restaurant for half board stay. Walking distance to the ski lifts - about 200 m. in the center of town. Underground car parking 50 from hotel for 12 € / day. Restaurants and shops nearby.

Charming hotel
We had, for the second time, a wonderfull stay at the Sporthotel Romantic Plaza.
The staff is very helpfull and friendly.
The hotel is very cosy and very clean.

Gute Lage, schönes Zimmer, Service überfordert
Hotel in Toplage inmitten von Madonna di Campiglio.
Natura Suite Zimmer ist sehr neuwertig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Sehr schön.
SPA Bereich ist teilweise verschimmelt (Liegenauflagen sind verschimmelt, Schimmel in verschiedenen Ecken zu sehen,...)

Service in der Bar und im Restaurant komplett überfordert und teilweise unfreundlich. Auswahl an Getränken war sehr eingeschränkt da das Hotel anscheinend keine Zutaten vorrätig hatte. Im Restaurant war das Personal überfordert.
Das Personal redet fast ausschließlich Italienisch.

Frühstück ok, Personal überfordert, bei Frühstücksbeginn (7.30) nicht alles fertig gedeckt. Personal minimal Englischkenntnisse
Abendessen ok, katastrophale Menüübersetzung, essen nicht ganz heiss, Personal auch hier total überfordert, Softdrinks nicht vorrätig

Semana de Esquí Fantástica
La estancia en este hotel ha sido excelente. El hotel reúne todo lo necesario para disfrutar una semana de esquí. La cocina del hotel (desayuno y cena) muy muy buena, la "merienda" que ofrecen todas las tardes genial. La ubicación del hotel es perfecta para disfrutar del esquí en Madonna, y a la vuelta el spa es una opción que no se puede dejar pasar.
Perfecta ubicación para disfrutar del esquí y del pueblo.
El equipo humano del hotel está para todo lo que necesites.Son un equipo humano excelente (en recepción hablan castellano muy muy bien).

Gran lugar
Ha sido una muy buena experiencia. Llegamos en auto desde Milán, bajamos las maletas y nos atendieron rápidamente y de buenos modos. La recepcionista muy agradable habla Inglés y Español muy bien, si no me equivoco, su nombre es Gaisa o algo similar ( perdón no recuerdo exacto). Nos hicieron up grade de habitación gratuito, lo que nos puso de buen humor! Tiene un gimnasio pequeño y la piscina también. El agua a buena temperatura. Lo único a controlar sería los menores ( hay un reglamento). Desayuno bueno y completo. Rapidez increíble para hacer las habitaciones y pasan también a la noche. Lo mejor es que si van a esquiar tiene a exactamente 150 mts en bajada uno de los medios ( 5 laghi) y para finalizar el día se puede terminar en Pradalago a 150 mts también pero desde el otro lado, por lo que también es en bajada. Cochera cubierta, qué hay que reservar con costo adicional pero cuesta la mitad que dejarlo en algún otro privado. Hay restaurante que no probamos. Muy bueno todo

Señor de la recepción extremadamente desagradable y maleducado, supongo que no será el que está atendiendo a la clientela normalmente y me tocó a mí porque llegué a las once y media de la noche... non capiamo il motivo per cui ha voluto RISCRIVERE questa recensione negativa “Triatlon Madonna di campiglio" ; abbiamo già risposto tempo addietro alla sua recensione titolata “TERRIBLY RUDE MANNERS“ ( v. allegato ):

se anche noi potessimo dare un punteggio al Suo comportamento non andremmo oltre a un bollino e per di più nero: all’alba della mezzanotte Lei è arrivata in albergo, trascinando una bicicletta nella hall e sbattendola contro la reception. Alquanto sorpresi abbiamo provveduto velocemente al check in e Le abbiamo subito indicato la bike room. Per tutta risposta ci siamo sentiti dire :”NO, LA MIA BICI SALE CON ME IN CAMERA “ ….L’abbiamo informata che il nostro deposito biciclette è sicuro e videosorvegliato ma la Sua risposta è stata un’altra volta: ” LA BICI SALE ASSOLUTAMENTE CON ME IN CAMERA“ . La cosa purtroppo non era fattibile e a quel punto Lei con l’altra ragazza, insieme alla bicicletta, siete uscite dall’albergo.
VEDE, LE NOSTRE CAMERE SONO STATE CREATE PER OSPITARE PERSONE, LA NOSTRA BIKE ROOM PER CUSTODIRE BICI. BUONA PEDALATA!

E’ stato per noi un piacere ed un onore ospitarli e attendiamo di riaverli ancora tra noi per assaporare quella ventata di energia che si portano appresso .

Grata estancia....
Bonito y atractivo hotel prácticamente en el centro de Madonna, cercano al huevo 5 Laghi Express que da servicio a variadas pistas incluida la famosa negra Stadio Slalom Miramonti.....
Destacar la atención del personal, los desayunos y las cenas servidas en su precioso salón restaurante, ciertamente son de division de honor asi como sus habitaciones superiores con balcon .....
Recomendable 100x100......
Nuestro agradecimiento a la direccion y personal por las atenciones recibidas en una gran semana para el recuerdo....

Man sollte den negativen Bewertungen mehr Beachtung schenken...
Aufgrund der eigentlich vorwiegend guten Bewertungen (und nur wenigen Ausreißern nach unten) haben wir dieses Hotel über Booking gebucht. Wie sich aber herausstellte - ein Fehler.
Gebucht hatten wir ein Deluxe Doppelzimmer (höchste Kategorie) mit Balkon.
Wir kamen gegen 19.15 Uhr im Hotel an. Man zeigte uns unser Zimmer, was leider nicht wie in der Beschreibung bei Booking über einen Balkon verfügte. Da wir Raucher sind und auch mal gerne so auf dem Balkon die Sonne genießen, war dies aber eine Grundvoraussetzung für die Buchung.
Die Angestellte der Rezeption sagte uns dann, dass sie kein Deluxe-Zimmer mit Balkon mehr hätte. Also zeigte sie uns dann ein Klassikzimmer (unterste Kategorie) und ein Superior-Zimmer (mittlere Kategorie) - beide mit Balkon. Das Klassikzimmer war sehr klein und hatte einen kleinen Balkon, den sich drei Zimmer teilten. Das Superiorzimmer war eigentlich ok, nur noch nicht fertig. Wir hätten dieses Zimmer also auch genommen. Dann ging es um die Preisfrage, da wir ja ein wesentlich teureres Zimmer reserviert hatten.
Sie erfragte den Preis beim Management und es kam die für uns absolut unverschämte Antwort, dass das Deluxezimmer ja bereits günstiger wäre als sonst und wir nun nur das Superiorzimmer für den Preis des Deluxezimmers bekommen könnten, einen Preisnachlass würden wir nicht bekommen. Wir sollten also den höheren Preis für ein schlechteres Zimmer bezahlen, obwohl wir bei der Buchung diese Kategorie hätten günstiger buchen können. Wohl bemerkt, es war die letzte Woche der Skisaison und das Hotel befand sich immer noch im oberen Preissegment (verglichen mit anderen vergleichbaren 4-Sterne-Hotels).
Dann wurde versucht uns das Superiorzimmer als angebliches Deluxezimmer zu verkaufen - der Versuch schlug fehl, da wir uns ja im Vorfeld genaustens mit dem Hotel beschäftigt hatten. Nächster Versuch: "...Die Deluxezimmer haben generell keine Balkone..." obwohl dies in der Zimmerausstattung aufgeführt ist. Dann folgte die Aussage, dass nur die Deluxezimmer für 4 Personen einen Balkon haben. Alle Aussagen des Hotels waren nicht mit den Informationen bei Booking stimmig. Erst nachdem wir dem Hotel die eigenen Zimmerfotos zeigten, schien etwas Einsicht zu kommen. Herausgeredet wurde sich aber trotzdem weiter.
Nach einigen weiteren nicht zum Ziel führenden Diskussionen, die wir ausschließlich mit dem Rezeptionspersonal führen konnten (sie vermittelte dann immer mit dem Manager, der sich aber, abgesehen von dem Preisthema, scheinbar zu fein war, sich direkt mit uns zu unterhalten - trotz guter Sprachkenntnisse), gaben wir die Klärung an Booking weiter, die es glücklicherweise nach 2 weiteren Stunden für uns klären konnten und daraufhin konnten wir ohne (Stornierungs-)Kosten in ein anderes Hotel gehen.
Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr bemüht, nur leider kommt sie gegen die sichtliche Arroganz (und anders können wir das Verhalten des Managements nicht beschreiben) des Managers nicht an. Die Aussagen waren schlicht widersprüchlich und nicht nachvollziehbar.
Um dieses Hotel werden wir zukünftig bei noch so verlockenden Angeboten einen besonders großen Bogen machen.

Schade, hätten wir uns mehr auf die negativen Bewertungen verlassen, wäre uns dieser Ärger am Ankunftstag erspart geblieben.
Wir hatten trotzdem einen traumhaften Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Hotel mit äußerst freundlichem Service - nur eben nicht im Sporthotel Romantik Plaza :D

la mission di un buon albergatore è senz’altro riuscire a soddisfare le esigenze del proprio Cliente . Quando Lei si è presentata in albergo prontamente Le è stata assegnata una camera matrimoniale Panoramic come da prenotazione . La Sua richiesta a posteriori di poter alloggiare in una camera Panoramic quadrupla ( esattamente come da foto da Lei insistentemente esibita ) non è stata esaudita, non per mancanza di volontà, ma perché quella camera era già stata occupata appunto da una famiglia di quattro persone . Nell’arco di due ore Le abbiamo mostrato più camere cercando di trovare quella che più assecondava le Sue esigenze ma è stato tutto inutile perché Lei voleva QUELLA camera. Abbiamo fatto l’impossibile ma purtroppo non siamo riusciti a soddisfare le Sue aspettative . Speriamo in una prossima volta , magari se avvisati per tempo, avremo cura di riservarLe la camera che Lei ci indicherà. Con un cordiale saluto.

Bon hôtel, bien situé à Madonna
Acceuil sympathique dans cet hôtel dont les chambres ont été bien rénovées.
Les suites avec vue sur la place sont très agréables, meublées en pin clair, coin salon très plaisant et belle salle de bains.
Beaux salons , terrasse avec trop peu de transats,avec vue sur la place
Le petit déjeuner est varié ; pour le dîner, vous ne sortirez pas affamés car il y a la quantité;
Des assiettes moins remplies mais avec des plats plus raffinés seraient appréciées;

C' est le point faible de l' hôtel

tres belle decouverte a madonna di Campiglio
premiere expérience reussie à Madonna di Campiglio, excellent hotel, tres bien situé au centre de la station et près des remontées mecaniques, belle chambres confortable;. et tres bonne cuisine Direction et personnel chaleureux et tres competents.

A la prochaine....( j'espère)
