Unemphathetic Staff. Unhappy with Service.
We wanted to host our child's 1st birthday party in SS Lumina Hotel banquet hall. I spent ample amount of time and effort getting clarifications and quotation. I had to follow up multiple times as the response was usually delayed or there was no response at all.. The price was quite high when compared to few other halls and they did not agree to any negotiations interms of money which is ok. It's their hotel and their choice. Almost 2 hrs we spent as service was delayed but just because the hall met the space requirement we still agreed to the price even though it was on higher end and we had made this very clear to them as well.
Now thevthing is Just because we are interested doesn't mean we are desperate.
The only thing I asked for is a complimentary room or cabin without cctv to feed my baby as we would be spending half a day there. After several request Nikita sent a photo of a conference room and said all tables and chairs will be removed.
I was taken aback and asked her should my baby be on the floor? I should feed him on the floor? This will not workout. Then she Said pay for room and book or go forward with your other hall.
My question is simple.
They said they cannot compromise on cost as well as quantity and we agreed. They couldn't add 1 extra dish also. We were ok.
If they cannot provide a room be polite and say upfront that we do not have any changing or complimentary rooms. If you want one you can book one. That's it.
Instead I found her reply rude and unempathetic. And she wasted a lot of our time. We were looking forward to this and just couple of days before the party had to call it off.
Food is average. Not worth the price.
And it's important for the management to respect people's time and there is always a kinder way of rejecting a request.
Last min we had to change the venue and all respective activities which wasn't pleasant specially with a 1 yr old around.
I am no one to not recommend but 1 thing I would suggest to the management and staff is BE EMPATHATIC BE KIND.

Flaming Disappointment!!!
What a mistake! Firstly, the amount of time I had to ask to get water delivered to my room is laughable! Then, the front desk kept calling me at 03:00am in the morning to ask if someone is in my room!?? 03:00am, are you kidding me??? Who does that?? This hotel, at a foundational level, is deeply flawed. This place is a flaming disappointment!!

Good hotel in the heart of koramangala
I stayed in this beautiful hotel in the month of August 2020 the hotel was neat and clean and seems to be quite new later came to know it's been there since 2016 anyways coming towards the room I would say it's the best in koramangala, I didn't tried their food as already it was arranged in my workplace but on the last day I ordered a vanilla shake and it was really yummy. Didn't found much of negativity but I would say it's really a sweet place to stay if one is planning for a short stay rest nothing much to say.And some notable praises to whole of lumina team specially narendra and sadan for taking extra care of me during my entire length of stay.
Thanks Sir. We will be waiting to serve you again.

Home away from home true indeed It was a fantastic stay at ss lumina hotel,Its been a while that I had been visiting ss Lumina and every time I visit it makes me feel that I am staying in my home there is some feeling that I cannot describe but what ever it is I always feel that I am staying in my home. Swift and comfortable stay
So after a long time I came to Bangalore from Hyderabad as usual I didn't find a single room in Bangalore particularly in kormangala as my office is situated in kormangala I was a bit worried as I thought that things won't turn well but a friend of mine came to my rescue and suggested me that why don't you I stay in Ss lumina as said after a bit hesitation I book my room in Ss lumina,frankly speaking I was shocked I mean I was really amazed the hotel was sweet and short checking was as smooth as passing a hot knife through a butter slab,room were really well done and good food was really good but choice wise it was limited which I later found that many staffs have left due to covid. I really felt safe the way they handled was really professional temperature and O2 reading was taken every day .I stayed there for 7 business days and none of the days I felt like alone may be it was Mr Kailash Rai and team who made my stay comfortable and kudos to them for their hard work and determination for making my stay comfortable . Hopefully the impact they have made will surely make me stay with the hotel when I will visit bangalore
