Graduation party
They hosted my graduation party and they made it so well. I particularly loved their big but tastefully done halls and their food was very appetizing. The charges were also reasonable. I would really recommend anyone wishing to do a party of any kind to consider stardom hotel.

Had my kid's birthday there, a group of 15 and everything was done near perfect... considering the short notice we gave
The chef was quick to come up with a menu

Theft and Intimidation - Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
Twice I had my room broken into. As there were no signs of a forced entry, the only explanation is that a key was used and so most likely a member of staff. On a visit to the police station the hotel manager openly bribed the police who then accused me of steeling my own belongings?!?!? When I challenged this the hotel manager became very aggressive.

Was just around Kasarani area and my friend tells me that there is a very nice place we can have lunch as we talk.He takes me at this Hotel and actually from the Reception you just feel you are at the right place.We are welcomed with a cold Cocktail juice freshly blend as we wait for our meal,the meal is ready in 30 mins and its fresh and delicious.

Nightmare, worst hotel stay of my life.
Where do I even begin to tell of the disaster that this hotel inflicted on us?
Please pick any other hotel in Nairobi, but do yourself a favor and stay as far away from Stardom as you can.
To begin with, when we got there, they had no idea we were coming and couldn't find any trace of our booking, despite us having confirmation from booking.com.
They claimed that the hotel was completely full but told us we could have a room for one night in a remodeled university campus that they also run, and then we could get a room in the hotel from the next night.
We were traveling in a car group with another couple and therefore needed to stay together to get around, but since we had nowhere else to go we agreed.
They took us there by car, showed us the room, and drove us back to the hotel for dinner.
The meal took ages to come and when it arrived my husband got something completely different than what he ordered, and our friends' food was terrible.
At 8 pm we asked to be driven back to our room as promised but they didn't get a driver to take us until 9.45 pm.
While we waited for nearly 2 hours, we met another couple who had booked a room in person at the hotel, but on arrival they had to wait 5 hours to check in because their room "wasn't ready yet".
The next day in the morning they again confirmed the promise that they would have a room for us at the hotel in the evening.
In the afternoon we got a text message that in fact they didn't have a room for us after all. When we arrived at the hotel, after a lot of discussion we got a room in the end, but only since there was another group of guests that had been promised 2 rooms but only got one, and they didn't want to break up their party. So they kindly offered us their room - in the end the only reason we actually got a room was because the hotel had managed to mess up someone elses booking too.
That night we realized another poor feature of the hotel: you can hear absolutely everything, there is no insulation whatsoever. When people walked and talked 3 floors down, we could hear it from our room.
The water in the shower was cold, and leaked out all over the bathroom floor, as it also did in our friend's room.
The cover sheet in our bed was a single sheet, despite it was made in a double bed and we only got one towel.
Breakfast was extremely basic and the "coffee" the worst i've ever had, hospitals have nicer coffee.
On the last day we again had dinner at the hotel since we couldn't be bothered going anywhere else because of the Nairobi traffic. This time we had to wait 2 hours for the food to arrive, and my friend had ordered chips which came to the table another 30 minutes later, when we had already finished the rest of the food.
The cleaning-and restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful, as well as the receptionist when we tried to check in, but that is the only positive thing I can say.
It was run down and dirty, the floor in the restaurant had rubbish and left over food all over, even for breakfast as if noone had cleaned it since dinner the day before.
I will never set foot anywhere near this hotel again.
