    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.

Excellent stay
The Fern Somnath is an excellent property managed by the fern group. We were a group of 15 members and I booked 7 rooms. Food in all 3 meals lunch, dinner and breakfast was very good and enjoying by all of us. Rooms were also good. Hotel staff is wonderful, helpful and polite. Had a good stay and would choose it again for next visit as well.

Bed Bugs in room and pathetic dinner
Got a smooth early check in based on availability. Have booked it for 2 nights with breakfast and dinner.
Breakfast was pretty good and dinner was pathetic on day one. My family just took few bite and all of us were upset. At morning 4 AM my wife spotted two bed bugs.
Surprisingly nothing were compensated again bad dinner on first night and bed bug. They offered room move but we couldn't not do it because we checked out early in the 2nd evening without staying overnight.
Overall - not recommended for stay because of following:
They lied to me that they can not do anything bcz we paid them full advance upon check in and their software do not has the option to refund - come on that's a biggest lie. If the staff are liar do not ever stay in any hotel.
If you are staying then i recommend do not pay full advance as they are not going to refund you in any case.

The Fern enjoys a prime location, close to the famous Somnath Temple and local attractions, ideal for pilgrims and leisure travelers alike.

The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-appointed. My room featured contemporary furnishings, a comfortable bed, and a clean, well-maintained bathroom. Thoughtful amenities like a minibar, tea/coffee maker, and a flat-screen TV enhanced my stay. The serene views added to the overall experience.

We stay here for 1 night and the stay was awesome.

Ausstieg von Indien - eine Oase in Gujarat
Wenn Sie eine Auszeit von "Horn Please" und Schmutz brauchen. Dann sind Sie in dieser Oase richtig. Noch gibt es Einstiegspreise und diese liegen leicht über dem heruntergekommenen Lords Inn. Es ist sein Geld absolut wert. Wir haben diverse Hotels in der Umgebung angeschaut. Die Betten sind meist unbequem.
Das Fern hat das Ziel eine Exklusivität anzubieten. Leider ist manches noch Schein als sein, wir können nur hoffen, dass es sich noch verbessert.
Die Zimmer sind wirklich wunderschön modern gestaltet. Ein großes Bett, auch für Europäer lang genug (das hatten wir bisher auf der Reise durch Gujarat nicht), die Bettdecken sehr lang und sehr bequem. Das Zimmer ist groß, mit Tee und Kaffeebereitung. Wasser kostenlos. Kleiner Kühlschrank (sehr sehr leise - unhörbar). Es ist traumhaft leise, eine große Fensterfront. Wir bekamen eines im 6. stock mit Aussicht auf die Tempelanlage. Die Außenwelt bleibt komplett außen vor. Die Klimaanlage als auch der Fan sind quasi unhörbar und es ist ein Traum hier abzuschalten, Urlaub! Die Dusche ist wie eine Regendusche, wunderbar warm und die Utensilien sind alle Bio und Ayuvedisch. Die Handtücher riechen wunderbar und fühlen sich auch so an. Für ca 80€ Luxus in Indien, aber für uns einfach eine kleine Auszeit. Die Kleinigkeiten beschränken sich auf z.B. Zimmerservice, der nicht gemacht wurde während wir Abwesend waren und erst auf Nachfrage erfolgte. Es ist Indien und die Europäischen Preise werden genommen, aber damit ist nicht gesagt, dass es sauber ist, die Spiegel geputzt werden etc. Hier fehlt es noch an gutem Management. Leider auch so beim Frühstück. 100% Jain, d.h keine Eierspeisen. Das Frühstück ist komplett auf Inder ausgerichtet. Die Auswahl Obst, Saft als auch Müsli ist für ein "möchte gern westlichen Standard" nicht ausreichend. Und leider gibt es auch hier keinen richtigen Kaffee. Dafür gibt es laute Musik (immerhin nicht indisch) und einen Fernseher. Ich möchte nicht zu kritisch sein, weil es wirklich ein traumhaftes Hotel ist und mit Abstand das Beste in der näheren Umgebung und das Beste, was wir bisher in Gujarat gesehen haben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es wird englisch und franzsösisch gesprochen. Welcome Drink und Gepäck tragen ist obligatorisch. Wenn Sie mal schlafen wollen und entspannen, dann sind Sie hier genau richtig. Wir haben hier 2 Nächte sehr genossen.
