- What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). Excellent Sher Garh Swai Madhopur
Excellent service. Mr Abhay Kumar Maheshwari the director of the resort down to earth person. I have not got the words how to praise him. Takes care of everything himself and take pride in his work. The profit from the souvenir shop goes the poor people of Swai Madhopur. Food was fantastic, room was clean, roomservice was excellent. Kithcen incharge Rajesh had taken care us regarding foof choice. I will definetnly book in future.

OK when you fight for it…
Look, the hotel rooms were good, the grounds and pool pleasant and the food “ok” - (see later for my real issue with it).
At check-in the staff were pleasant. The internet is strangely rationed - a token (actually a code) is given for two attempts per day. When you do get connected it’s not good (better to use cellular data).
My issues are all to do with the fact that the hotel was largely empty when we stayed and the staff seemed hell-bent on co-opting us into their cost and labor-saving schemes. Firstly, it turns out that the impressive bar is actually stocked with empty bottles. You order a gin and tonic and they say “why don’t you try a vodka?” If you press them, and seem annoyed that they could run out of something they had 10 empty bottles of, then they say “ok, I’ll go and find some”, and duly return about 5 minutes later with a new, unopened bottle. Did they just prefer not to have to go to the trouble? This is the “hospitality” industry, isn’t it? Same thing next day - breakfast, served only from 9am to 10am. Come back from safari at 9:30, nothing is out. They offer you an omelette- “no other service, very small number of guests. Have an egg”. When you challenge them, they melt, and out comes the breakfast that they would have otherwise served (chopped fruit, daal, puri, toast, etc) - my point is that it MUST have been sat there in the kitchen, and they just didn’t want the hassle of serving us if they didn’t have to. Then lunch - “not many guests, do you want sandwiches?” “Okay, sure” “Tell me what you want in sandwich- cheese?” - um, how about we sit down to eat when we are good and ready, and then your kitchen staff take orders individually for sandwiches and make them fresh then?
This review is somewhat tainted by a bad experience in the safari (nothing to do with the hotel), but if you are expecting the same premium service you can find in Mumbai, Jaipur or Udaipur, then you’ll go disappointed, at least while the hotel is being run by accountants rather than experienced hospitality specialists.

Tiger safari hotel
Really lovely place and facilities, staff really friendly helpful staff, easy trip to see tigers etc, picked up twice daily for safari.
Great to get back to after long hot day for a swim then air con room.
Would recommend.

What you would expect from a hotel in a National park. It didn't disappoint.
Nice facilities if a little antiquated. The room was a padlock on the door. This added to the charm. There was no safe in the room. Was disappointed that we weren't given a tented room but the room was comfortable and clean. We had to wait for our suit cases but this wasn't the hotels fault as they were coming by road. The on site shop was reasonably priced for the merchandise and the shop keeper was very helpful especially when it came to insect repellent. We bought a few items from there. The food was good and the paratha excellent. There was a bar attached to the restaurant which was good as it was needed after the game drives. I would stay there again.

Great value for a family stay
We stayed at this place as a family with kids and grandparents and had an excellent experience. We stayed in 2 cottage rooms and the rooms were large with lots of space. The gardens are large and well maintained. It has a tranquil ambience and the pool was very clean. The food served everyday was fresh and never repeated for the three nights and the quality was excellent. The staff are extremely attentive and always there to serve your needs. The location is close to the entry for zones 1 to 5 and very convenient for safari pick ups and drop offs. We would happily stay here again. The only suggestion would be to add small changing rooms next to the pool.
