    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
    By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.

Worst staff behaviour
Visited with my family at around 6 in the evening at restaurant mehak. The waiter simply denied that you cannot order starters now as the restaurant is closed, we will take the order after 7:30 pm.
Seriously??
None of the hotels / restaurant will say this to the guest. What you guys are thinking? The customer needs to wait for 1.5 hours to eat something.
No proper information is given by them the staff about the happy hours, however in reception they have the pamphlet displaying about the happy hour. I will attach the image.
Upon asking about the same on billing time they simply denied that the offer is not valid for us. Staff naming PAPAI is very rude and dont even have the manners how to deal with the guest. I too work in the hospitality industry.
And guess whats there excuse is - we cannot add beer in IMFL package.
Seriously disgusting. Making customers fool.

Management should seriously look into this matter.

Pathetic service
Kind attention @Dakshin Bhaskar i have visited your hotel TSG GRAND for dinner with my family and that was a wrong decision made by me to enjoy but was ended up with the worst service with a bad experience.
Never ever expected the worst ever service by the brand like you.
The staffs was very rude and disrespectfull with the guest.
They dont even know know to talk to the guest specially one guy whose name is PAPAI. You should keep the trained staff at hospitality.
I will never ever suggest this place to anyone.
NEVER EXPECTED THESE KIND OF SERVICES FROM THE BRAND LIKE TSG.

Only location is not guests look for.
Location is very near to airport. Plus point.
Room was too small as against the photo shown on website. There is no cupboard for keeping clothes etc. One has to live from suitcase. Not even one chair in the room though shown in photo. Unless there are different rooms in same hotel but photo is shown of bigger room.
House keeping is poor. Example: checked into room 212 and the entry card did not work. Brass metal key was given after 10 minutes. On way back from Neil Island again Room 212 was allotted. Went up to the room and to great disappointment the card key did not work. Thus intervening three days no attempt was made to rectify and why was card key given in first place at check in?? Shows inefficiency and casual approach of management. No small hand towel was provided. No toiletries??

Good hotel near the airport
Nice hotel in the city of port blair. Rooms are neat and clean. House keeping and room service were good and quickly they help. Meena ji from housekeeping kept our room very neat and clean and rooms were ready before our check-in... Buffey Food items should be improved under the MAP plan

Extra bed charges for the day we did not show up also!!!
They will charge for extra bed even when you don’t turn up!!! I had booked 4 rooms for 13th and 14th Jan, total 9 occupants. We could not reach on 13th Jan as SpiceJet cancelled flight. I understand it is not their fault (although the hotel could have at least given a discount or something) for 14th. They charged for the 4 rooms for 13th and 14th. They also charged for the extra person ₹1500/- for both the days. The least they could have done is to charge 4 rooms two days and extra bed one day but they did not budge. Appalling!!!
