-
Are the prices always the same even if the date changes?Prices vary based on various factors which may be seasonal, day of the week, occupancy status of the hotel, promotions, particular fairs in the city and more. The advice, to see the prices, is to enter the dates of your stay and make your own comparisons.
-
Is breakfast always included? No, it depends on the rate and whether the structure is organized to offer it or not. Check carefully before booking what is included and what is not and what type of service is offered.
-
Can I make special requests?Of course, when booking you will have a field where you can write directly to the property and make your requests. These will be evaluated by the Hotel who will respond directly to you. MeTour is not responsible in this decision-making process.
-
What types of beds will I find in the room I booked? The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
- What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
-
How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
-
How can I cancel or change my booking?Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
-
Can I transfer my reservation to another person? For this request, contact the property directly which may have a specific policy in this regard or may need further data on the person to whom you want to transfer the booking.
-
How can I get help with my booking?Enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can contact us or by writing through our contact form specifying your booking number and the reason for the contact request. We recommend that you also leave a telephone number where you can be reached in case of need.
-
Are there taxes, local charges or extras to be paid directly on site? They are normally clearly indicated in the property sheet or added during the booking phase depending on local regulations or the facility's policies. But even if not clearly indicated, payments may be requested directly to the facility for any tourist taxes, local charges or extras not included in the rate. The advice is to read everything carefully before booking or writing to us through our contact form.
-
Are small pets allowed? It is often clearly stated in the property sheet and for this reason we invite you to carefully read their policies. Where not indicated, we invite you to contact us through our contact form for more information.

Never, ever again
Stay away from this hotel at all costs. We have been staying at this hotel on two separate dates in the beginning of June and found this to be the worst hotel ever. Yes, it looks lovely and modern, but they have some serious problems with the electricity and management of the hotel and reception feels deflated as they are aware of the same problems over and over again.
Upon arrival our wifi keycard did not work, back to reception and queueing.
Given a physical key as they said some cards do not work (well don't give the key card if you are aware and only give us the key).
Then back up with the key, the electricity didn't work. Back to reception queueing.
Back to the room with the receptionist, who had to reset the switches in the hall. Electricity worked.
Found out that the aircon didn't work. Back to reception and queueing again.
Receptionist came up and tried to fixed it according the the procedure instructions she had (wait a minute, that sounds like it is happening all the time?) She could not fix it and said she would call the technician.
After waiting in a stifling hot room for about an hour, back to reception to see what was going on. We were asked to wait for another 15 mins. Back to the room and back to reception 15 mins later.
By this time 3 hrs further, we pointed out that if the technical had not responded, he was not likely to respond at 22.00. We threatened to sleep in reception on the sofa and back with another attempt from the receptionist to fix the aircon. Yeah, she did it, we noticed she had put in two cards in the slot which was very loose. I did query if we could switch it off when sufficiently cool and of course we could, she said.
Back to reception however as we only had one towel (this happened to more people in our traveling group.
A bit later and indeed we could not switch of the aircon and were now shivering under the duvet where the rooms was 14c!
At the same time, it was horrendously problematic to get up and down to our rooms as they seem to have one lift permanently out of order and the staff using the same crampy lift with the hotel guests. We ended up walking down from the 10th floor in despair. Lots of people have been waiting for the lift for over 10 mins, which is not acceptable.
So we thought that our second stay later in that week would fare better. Alas, another one of our group complained about the same, no aircon at all and no towel.
We thought ourselves lucky as our aircon seemed to work. It was 37c outside with a severe weather warning.
However, we went to dinner and just like all the other guests, must have decided to turn the aircon on. Just to discover that there was not breeze coming from it.
Again, we as well had only one towel and the minibar was not fully stocked. They promised to send someone up, on whom we still wait.
In the meantime, we had four blackouts and we were stumbling around in the dark to find clothes to check if the hall still had electricity and hoped nobody was caught in that stifling hot small lift.
Time to try to sleep to find out that when we turned of the light, the aircon went off! So choice: with lights on and drizzle of aircon, or lights off and opening the window where it was still over 30c at night and very noise as they hotel is situated on a main road. To my surprise it was still busy at 03.00 and I did not sleep a wink.
The only good think I want to mention is the 12th floor breakfast/bar which has a lovely view and offers a good breakfast with friendly staff.
But, I am afraid that is the only good thing I can mention. I would even go to a lower star hotel, to avoid this one.

Disappointing stay at the Union plaza hotel
I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. First of all, the air conditioner in our room didn't work, making it unbearable to sleep in the summer heat. Despite multiple complaints to the front desk, nothing was done to fix the issue.
Additionally, there were no towels provided in the room. When we requested them, we had to wait hours before any were brought up, and even then, they were old and worn out.
To top it all off, we didn't get the beds we had requested. We booked a room with two queen beds, but were given a room with just one king bed instead. With three people in our party, this was incredibly inconvenient and uncomfortable.
Overall, the lack of basic amenities and poor customer service made for a terrible experience. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Deve migliorare sotto alcuni aspetti…

Amazing hotel and restaurant
Lovely hotel, we stayed in the deluxe double room and it had loads of space. There is a mini bar and smart TV which was great and the staff across the whole hotel were lovely and really attentive to any requests you have. We had dinner in The Amethyst Skybar and the food was absolutely insane! The biggest ribeye steak I’ve ever had and the most delicious hummus starter. Drago (hope I have spelt his name right) was an incredible waiter, he did everything to ensure that we had great service & even at one point a different waiter brought us a bottle of cava instead of Prosecco and Drago just politely corrected the mistake with no issues and would top us up regularly. He was friendly and really deserves recognition for his fantastic service. Would highly recommend this hotel altogether. We will be coming back. :)

Need to consider all paying guests when party's taking place
I'm going to start with the negative, we checked in around 01:20 we were on the 11th floor and told there was a party going on, on the 12th floor but was due to finish in 30 mins, we weren't to concerned until we got into the lift and as we went up, the music was getting louder & louder, we got to our room and it was like the bed was on the dancefloor, we got into bed and thought we would try not to let this upset us, until it got to 02:00 and it was still banging, then 02:30 it was still so loud & vibrating the room it was absolutely ridiculous! There was absolutely no consideration to other paying guests. It finally stopped after 02:30. This left us exhausted the day after. I'm sure the hosted party will have resulted in a few more negative posts from reviewers, No one wants to stop anyone's fun, but midnight should have been a cut off point for such loud music.
It is about 15-20 min walk into the old town. There are a few trendy container brasserie, bars about 5 minute walk across the Rd, I recommend Moon for breakfast. We did pay for breakfast at the hotel one morning but it wasn't great.
The hotel is clean and comfortable and we had no further noise for 2 night apart from banging doors.
