- What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.

Off the Beaten Path Sits an Old School Resto
I have a soft spot for restaurants that have been in business at the same site for 50+ years. The food and service is exactly what one would expect from such an institution. They don't wow. They just deliver precisely Portuguese cuisine. The visible kitchen is bustling and wait staff is in a good mood. There's a good view of the local beach. I had grilled turbot after crab pate n' breaded shrimp. I should have had papaya but the homemade coconut tart was unavoidable. Order the Quinta Da Lapa DOC reserva. Next time I'll try the beef Wellington.

My wife and I and 4 friends visited here on a recommendation and where not disappointed. If you love fresh properly cooked food and good wine then this is the place. Fantastic food and and fantastic service with a special mention to Carlos for looking after us so well. Highly recommended

Lovely food lovely decor
This restaurant is an institution, it opened in 1966 and remained in the same family until 2017, always serving great food. It has gorgeous vaulted ceilings and is very tastefully decorated, with two separate dining areas, one at ground level and another above, with lovely sea views (partial view). Very friendly staff. Tradicional Portuguese cuisine, beautifully prepared and amazing desserts, especially the tecolameco, an Algarve speciality not to miss! Passion fruit and mango mousses are also truly delicious. A little pricey but worth it. The only snag is parking, there are no parking lots nearby so you’ve got to find a space in the street (paid parking) which may not be easy.
