What types of beds will I find in the room I booked?The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. - What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.

How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. Our Home Away From Home!
We felt like we are at home in our wonderful Porto apartment. The hospitality was lovely and the breakfast basket is a must! The location made the city easily accessible. All our points of interest were at most 20 minutes away. We would recommend this place to all of our friends and family.

A beautiful sanctuary in Porto
We absolutely adored our stay + honestly could not recommend it more. The staff were so beautifully friendly, helpful + knowledgeable about anything we asked. The level of professionalism mixed with human touches is so impressive + feels to reclect the gorgeous warm nature of the Portuguese people as a kind.
The apartment we stayed in was unparalleled in stunning design, flow of use + overall it was, as a designer myself, everything I hoped.

Good place. Just be aware of small nuances
Good:
1. Nice and clean but lighting is dark
2. Working staff are friendly and helpful
3. Great location. A short walking distance from the main tourist attractions.
4. It had a small kitchen, so it was great.
5. Plenty of water was provided.
Bad:
1. Everything is email driven, there is no one to talk to
2. They constantly send you email offering services for a price throughout the entire stay. Just feels like they are trying to make more money rather then helping you.
3. They send you a link for the customer to see how much it would cost to checkout 2 hrs later than the normal time, which is at 11 am. Just made the hotel feel like a 1 star hotel.
4. Can't seem to get a copy of the bill. They say I need to contact Mr. & Mrs. Smith .. but I booked through Hyatt.

Amazing Porto stay.
I cannot rate our experience at Village Apart hotel highly enough. The whole experience from check in to check out was just amazing. The staff were extremely friendly, very professional and always going the extra bit to help. The apartment was very clean and stocked with everything you need. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anybody looking to have a great stay in Porto.
