What a lovely hotel💛

Have just returned from a weeks’ stay at the Wanda Vista Hotel (following cosmetic surgery) and wanted to say that my daughter and I were very impressed with the whole experience.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the very kind, helpful and friendly Receptionist Dennis who made our journey / recovery so much better than we had expected. He went above and beyond with his happy smile and customer service at all times 🙏🏻

ROOM:

The room was fabulous - we had a standard twin - which was more like a studio apartment as it had a dividing wall between bedroom and a lounge area (sofa, dining table/chairs, TV) plus a kitchenette (oven, hob, fridge/freezer, sink). Lovely large bathroom with premium fittings throughout - large sink area, walk-in shower and even a washer/dryer.

Nice modern decor & fully functioning air con in both parts of the room.

RECEPTION/AMENITIES:

Lovely bright, airy, luxury feel to the Lounge/Reception areas with classy decor throughout.

There is an open air pool on level 3 - plus an indoor pool (within the Spa) on the ground floor. A children’s playroom and plenty of toilets.

FOOD:

We were booked on a B&B basis and were very impressed by the vast selection and quality of food & drinks served every morning in the main Restaurant Cafe Vista. Plenty of choice including hot & cold - freshly cooked eggs, omelettes, extremely soft & fresh bread, fruit, salad, yoghurts, etc. Much better than expected.

There is also an in- house Chinese restaurant within the hotel - which is nicely decorated and seems to be a very popular choice with the many Chinese tourists who were staying at the Wanda. (We enjoyed some tasty, freshly-cooked noodles there one evening).

LOCATION:

Although we didn’t venture out of the hotel (apart from our first day) we were not bothered about sightseeing, etc., as our stay was more for recovery purposes and was included within our surgery package, so I cannot comment on the area (it is located near some busy roads and surrounded by more commercial type shops & a temple) but it only took 7-10 mins in a taxi to the Mall of Istanbul (huge shopping mall with all the usual international shops (Zara, Mango, HM, M&S!) plus loads of restaurants - so very handy if you are in Istanbul for shopping! 🛍️

Fantastic stay at a very well run, friendly, professional clean and well designed large hotel 😍

Stayed here following an operation
I stayed at the Wanda Vista following an operation where I received a prosthetic knee at a local hospital. My mobility was not good but both the staff and facilities at the hotel ensured that I was able to fully enjoy my experience. The reception staff were excellent and no request was too difficult or onerous for them to bring to a satisfactory conclusion. Berkon, the person responsible for customer relations was excellent and helped me several times when I experienced specific issues related to my homeward flight.

All in all I have no hesitation in describing my experience at the hotel as excellent. Food, excellent; staff, excellent; room, excellent. It’s been my absolute pleasure to stay at the Wanda Vista and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends and family.

My opinion
The hotel is very good, the rooms are fairly large, the receptionists are very helpful and hospitable, especially Mr.Berkan from the guest relations department, and there is also an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and a fairly good health club near the largest complexes in Istanbul mall of Istanbul .

Nice stay
It was a wonderful stay. The staff was so helpful and nice. Guest relation responsible berkan was so nice with us. They helped us carrying the luagge, and everytime we needed something ,they will bring it in few minutes. Good job guys and thanks xx

Hygiene = Null
Waren für 2 Nächte da. Nie und nimmer ein 5 Sterne Hotel.
Haben einmal Zimmer gewechselt weil unser Bett VORBENUTZT war und überall Staub und Haare verteilt waren!

Dann in der Nacht und im neuen Zimmer dann noch mehr Haare gefunden! Eckelerregend um 1 Uhr morgens zusammen mit dem Nachtdienst alternative Zimmer angeboten bekommen (mit Upgrade!). Wir haben zusammen mit dem Nachtverantwortlichen sage und schreibe FÜNF Zimmer angeschaut! Sogar er selbst musste zugeben, dass ihr Hotel in Sachen Hygiene wohl noch verbesserungswürdig ist, denn keins dieser Zimmer war wirklich geputzt!

Wir haben uns dann entschieden alle Decken, Kissen...badtücher usw austauschen zu lassen. Um 2.30 konnten wir dann endlich mal zu Bett.

Hotelpersonal hat sich stets bemüht und hat unseren Vorfall auch ans management gemeldet. Nützt mir aber so nichts. Bezahlt habe ich für ein 5 Sterne Hotel und bekommen habe ich eklige 2 Nächte.

Le service est médiocre ils ont tout simplement oublié de nettoyer ma chambre malgré que j’ai mis la fiche de nettoyer la chambre à la poignée de ma porte et quand j’ai réclamé à la réception ils m’ont dit qu’ils vont envoyer quelqu’un malheureusement rien n’a été fait.

Design lontano dal centro
Tre notti con il tour :albergo nuovo appena aperto stanze grandi pulite e di design lontano dal centro 20 km con il traffico ci vuole un ‘ora di taxi 🚕 se ci si vuole spostare in autonomia non arriva la metro .Colazione e cena normale in ambienti curati con aria condizionata alta .Sarebbe stato perfetto dopo le giornate di escursione a Istanbul se non fosse che non ci hanno mai pulito la stanza e cambiato gli asciugamani nonostante le lamentele del gruppo . Wi-Fi funzionante in tutto hotel .

Hotel nuevo, desayuno malo y habitaciones cómodas
Es un buen hotel, aunque no tiene nada cerca para pasear o despejarte después de un día de trabajo
La insonorización es mala, si es posible, elige habitaciones que no den a la carretera y de las plantas altas
La cama es confortable,aunque mi almohada olía mal y tiene un buen tamaño de cama
El diseño de la habitación es bonito y son amplias y bien distribuidas
La wifi es buena
El desayuno es mejorable
Como aspecto negativo, el segundo día solo hicieron la cama, ni limpiaron, ni ordenaron, ni cambiaron toallas

Ein neues Hotel das erst seit gut einem Monat geöffnet hat. Wir sind die ersten Gäste in unserem Zimmer daher ist natürlich an der Einrichtung nichts zu bemängeln, da ja alles nagelneu ist.

2 Dinge störten uns jedoch schon. Zum einen gibt es zwar einen Fernseher der leider leider nicht internet fähig ist und wir unser Netflix auf unserem Laptop anschauen mussten. Ist wirklich sehr schade da das Hotel über ein sehr schnelles Wifi verfügt.

Das zweite was uns störte ist das wir hier ein Apartment mit Küche gebucht haben, nur leider gab es keinerlei Küchenausstattung wie Töpfe, Pannen, Teller, Besteck oder sonst irgendwas was man zum kochen bräuchte. Auf Nachfrage wurde dann etwas geliefert was leider bei weitem nicht ausreichte. Wir kauften dann unsere Gerätschaften selber im Supermarkt.

Eine Sache noch für alle Türkei Reisenden, die Taxifahrer hier sind absolute Gangster und verlangen teilweise den 20 fachen Preis was es mit Taxameter kosten würde. Ja richtig gelesen, den 20 fachen Preis. Glücklicherweise ist das Hotel hier ganz auf unserer Seite und hat uns empfohlen diesen Preis natürlich nicht zu bezahlen und im Zweifel würde das Hotel die Polizei verständigen.

Ganz positiv hervorzuheben ist eine junge äußerst nette Mitarbeiterin von der Rezeption Namens Elif. Sie hat sich extrem fürsorglich um unsere Probleme und Anliegen gekümmert und sogar in ihrer Freizeit uns zum Einkaufen begleitet damit alles glatt ging. So eine tolle Mitarbeiterin habe ich noch nie erlebt. Echt klasse und eine echte Perle in diesem Hotel.

Im Allgemeinen sind die Mitarbeiter vor Ort äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, doch diese junge Dame Elif hat uns besonders beeindruckt.
