    The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
  • What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
    By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
  • How can I cancel or change my booking?
    Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
  • Can I transfer my reservation to another person?
    For this request, contact the property directly which may have a specific policy in this regard or may need further data on the person to whom you want to transfer the booking.
  • How can I get help with my booking?
    Enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can contact us or by writing through our contact form specifying your booking number and the reason for the contact request. We recommend that you also leave a telephone number where you can be reached in case of need.
  • Are there taxes, local charges or extras to be paid directly on site?
    They are normally clearly indicated in the property sheet or added during the booking phase depending on local regulations or the facility's policies. But even if not clearly indicated, payments may be requested directly to the facility for any tourist taxes, local charges or extras not included in the rate. The advice is to read everything carefully before booking or writing to us through our contact form.
  • Are small pets allowed?

Véritable palais aux portes du Thar
Un palais nous a accueillis aux portes du désert. Une oasis chargée d'histoire. Un confort de haut niveau, un accueil formidable des notre arrivée, et tout au long de notre séjour. Une mention particulière pour le restaurant "roof top" qui bénéficie d'une vue à 360 degrés, cadre très enchanteur dans une nuit étoilée. Notre serveur Sander mérite bien 4 étoiles pour sa compétence, sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse..

A convenient hotel with bundles of historical charm
We stayed for two nights in a Deluxe Room at this hotel. Our room was clean and well furnished. We were situated at the rear of the property which was quiet.

An adequate breakfast was served in the restaurant with Indian food to order. The restaurant appeared to be only accessible up and down stairs.

We enjoyed the swimming pool which was well maintained even though popular as a drinking spot for the local pigeons.

On one evening we ate in the rooftop restaurant. We were the only guests dining there. The expected views of the fort by night were only glimpses between nearby buildings. The second night we ate at the economical Chandan Shree Veg Restaurant just outside the palace gates. There is an ATM nearby as well.

This is a well run hotel in a very convenient location (you can walk to the Fort entrance). I would recommend it to others seeking Heritage accommodation.

Very nice hotel in a former palace.
This is a very beautiful hotel, in an old very well maintained palace. It is right in the center of Jaisalmer but still very quiet. We absolutely loved staying here. Everything is very clean and well maintained (including the pool area). Dinner on the rooftop restaurant is great, and the buffet food is very nice. We definitely recommend staying here.

Übernachten wie ein Maharadscha
Sich fühlen wie ein Maharadscha im stilvollen Ambiente. Das Hotel bietet einen ausgezeichneten Service und Chandon hat uns beim Frühstück jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Mitte der Stadt mit kurzen Wegen zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen.

Wonderful Experience
The experience at Mandir Palace was great. Stayed for two nights. The staff is welcoming and courteous. The food was good as well. The palace itself is beautiful and houses a museum. The location is great as well to cover main city attractions.

Beautiful palace, could need a face-lifting inside the rooms
This is a very beautiful palace with its own museum. Lots of nice places inside and outside, a wonderful pool, a roof café with a beautiful view over the palace and to the fort. The staff is very friendly. Food was also excellent and was served outside on a terrace in the evening, with several fires to keep us warm. It would also have been possible to eat inside, but the inside restaurant does not have a nice atmosphere whilst the terrace was terrific. The room was comfortable, the bathroom could need an update. Some of the furniture does not really fit in.
The city is directly in front of the entrance.

Magnifique palais au charme chargé d’histoire.
Une splendeur architecturale témoin d’un riche passé. Les extérieurs sont magnifiquement entretenus, jusqu’à la piscine, discrètement nichée dans le parc. Dommage qu’elle accueille des dizaines de pigeons. La suite était majestueuse. Cependant la salle de bains demande une profonde remise en l’état, pour être en adéquation avec les tarifs pratiqués.

Belle expérience aux portes du désert et aux pieds de la forteresse de jaisalmer
Le cadre est magnifique les chambres grandes propres et confortables et le personnel très gentils et serviable. Le restaurant sert des plats de qualité tantôt dans la salle tantôt sur le Rooftop qui donne une vue imprenable sur la forteresse de jaisalmer. Lieu à recommander sans restrictions

Un palazzo da sogno
Soggiorno piacevole in un palazzo storico dalla bellezza mozzafiato. Le camere e i servizi sono un po’ datati, ma l’atmosfera autentica compensa pienamente e rende l’esperienza fantastica! Il palazzo ha anche un museo e si possono visitare diverse stanze e fare foto dalla terrazza panoramica.

Hôtel au charme infini
Superbe endroit au charme infini: gentillesse du personnel, confort de la chambre, dîner en terrasse avec ambiance musicale, piscine confortable. Nous avons passé deux jours magnifiques à Jaisalmer, dont le plus bel endroit était probablement notre hôtel, le palais du maharadja.

Sehr schöner Palastkomplex
Das Mandir Palace macht dem Namen alle Ehre, der gesamte Palastkomplex ist wunderschön und top gepflegt. Die Mitarbeiter sind hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, ständig wird geputzt und der Besen geschwungen. Unser Zimmer (Nr. 207) war sehr geräumig und hat unsere Erwartungen hinsichtlich Größe und Ausstattung übertroffen. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral und besonders hervorzuheben ist die außerordentlich schöne Dachterrasse mit Blick auf das Fort, auf welcher das Abendessen serviert wird. Mit dem Speisenangebot und der Qualität beim Frühstück sowohl beim Abendessen waren wir zufrieden (lediglich der Kaffee hat uns nicht geschmeckt). Etwas befremdend fanden wir die Nachricht, dass wir trotz Hinterlegung der Kreditkarte (bei booking.com) eine Sofortüberweisung tätigen sollen, andernfalls würde unsere Buchung storniert. Vorerst vermuteten wir betrügerische Absicht, auf Nachfrage im Hotel per Mail erhielten wir die Info, dass diese Überweisung tatsächlich notwendig sei, um die Buchung zu fixieren (diese Vorgangsweise war uns bis dato unbekannt). Des Weiteren fanden wir die Getränkepreise im Hotel für indische Verhältnisse vollkommen überzogen (ein kleines Glas Weißwein € 6,50, Bier € 5,50 und eine Flasche Wasser € 5,50), deshalb nur 4/5 Punkten.

Location spettacolare in centro città
Location comoda vicino al centro cittadino e al forte. L’hotel e sito in un meraviglioso palazzo storico dove si respira un’atmosfera magnifica.
Camere ampie e pulite, servizio buono ed attento.

Cena al rooftop restaurant
Abbiamo cenato al ristorante ubicato sul rooftop. Buona cena, servizio ultra lento detto che eravamo solo 2 tavoli con 5 coperti in totale. Vista sul forte e contesto storico, dato che il ristorante è all'interno di questo antico palazzo, molto ben preservato.

tornato dopo 5 anni ...
Avevo già soggiornato nell'Hotel 5 anni fa, ci sono tornato. Confermo il giudizio di allora, questa volta ho prenotato in anticipo la Suite (ce ne sono due, a questo punto le ho viste entrambe, sono entrambe eccellenti). E' un bellissimo palazzo antico, ben curato, nel centro della città, si possono visitare sia il forte che tutte le havelis partendo a piedi dall'hotel. Il servizio quest'anno è stato ancora migliore di 5 anni fa. C'erano pochi ospiti e siamo stati veramente viziati sia a colazione che a cena. La cena si consuma nel ristorante sul tetto, che offre una vista eccellente sulle mura (ed anche sul Mandir Palace, molto bello in se). E' veramente consigliabile. Come ho già scritto, in questi tipi di hotel occorre valutare la tipologia delle camere, sconsiglio quelle standard double, meglio le suites e, comunque, all'arrivo, guardate la camera che vi hanno assegnato e, se del caso, chiedete di vederne altre...

Precioso
Ya solo el edificio merece la pena. Una preciosidad. La habitación amplísima y muy bonita. El personal muy atento y servicial si bien el desayuno un poco cutre pero más que suficiente. Es un palacio precioso y merece la pena alojarse en este remanso de paz.

Seul le palais vaut la peine...
Nous aons passé deux jours dans ce magnifique palais qui malheureusement l'agrément et le confort ne sont pas au rendez-vous. Chambre au rez de chaussée très sombre, petite, sans charme, literie très médiocre. Salle de bain basique, sans plus. Petits dejeuners très moyen dans une salle à manger tristounette (c'est fréquent en Inde).Nous avons pris un verre un soir sur le roof top, belle vue sur le fort, mais personnel d'une amabilité moyenne et verre de vin surfacturé. En règle générale dans cet hôtel l'accueil est tout juste poli. C'est dommage car avec ce merveilleux palais et le jardin intérieur on pourrait faire un hôtel de rêve, ce qui n'est pas le cas, loin de là.

Das Mandir Palace Hotel heißt nicht nur so, es ist auch wirklich einer. Die Familie des Maharajas benutzt einen Teil des Palastes immer noch als Wohnsitz, wenn sie in der Stadt ist. Da der Palast im 17 Jhrhrdt. nicht als Hotel konzipiert wurde, sind die Zimmer auch nicht Standardräume, wie in einem Hotel einer großen Kette, sondern jedes ist individuell. Aber man muss nicht auf den Komfort eines modernen Hotels verzichten. Die Badezimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet, WLAN und Safe sind in jedem Zimmer vorhanden.
Die Küche des Hotels muss sich keinen Vergleich mit irgendeinem Restaurant in Jaisalmer scheuen. Das Essen auf der abendlichen Terrasse war sehr lecker, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Dazu gab es noch ein Programm mit regionaler Musik und Tanz.
Insgesamt war das ganze Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hier ist der Gast nicht unbedingt ein König, aber er wird als solcher behandelt.

Maravilloso.
Todo perfecto. La arquitectura increible, parece hecho en filigrana. Todo bello. Desde la piscina, las flores, plantas extrañas para nosotros, la habitacion, el restaurante en la terraza con sus hermosas vistas. Limpieza y excelente atencion. Muy recomendable.

Palazzo incantevole
Hotel molto bello situato in parte di un palazzo storico davvero affascinante. L'accoglienza e lo staff davvero ottimi, la camera non è lussuosa ma sicuramente molto bella, confortevole e pulita.
L'hotel inoltre è in una posizione abbastanza comoda anche per chi ha voglia di girare a piedi, essendo in città.
Specialmente di notte il palazzo è molto suggestivo, consiglio di salire sulla terrazza vicino al ristorante per godersi una visita della città arroccata e dei dettagli della struttura. Anche la piscina carina e ben tenuta.
A cena abbiamo mangiato bene, forse la colazione era un po' povera ma essendo in bassa stagione ed essendoci pochi ospiti probabilmente hanno allestito un buffet con poche cose per evitare sprechi.
Comunque ottimo hotel, ne conserveremo un bel ricordo!

Un espectáculo, un tesoro.
Deja sin aliento atravesar el portal. Lo primero que se ve son filigranas y encajes en piedra arenisca dorada (cantera). Una belleza el palacio, interesante su museíto familiar, magníficas la vista y la cena en el restaurant del rooftop, hermosa el área de alberca. El conjunto iluminado de noche es arrobador !. El personal, como es costumbre en India, es sumamente amable y cortés.

Sin embargo por dentro las instalaciones no son de gran lujo, las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas pero austeras. Todas tienen sobre la cama el cuadro de algún miembro de la familia real (nos tocó la simpática imagen de un niño). Algunos detalles de sencillez: el baño carece de espejo de aumento y secadora, el tapete de la ducha está gastadillo, las vajillas blancas son de melamina, el aire acondicionado y el frigobar son ruidosos y dificultan el descanso. Pero por un precio tan razonable, les aseguro que todo es tolerable a cambio de esta inolvidable estadía sintiéndonos en la corte de un maharajá … Muy recomendable !.

Nett, aber Personal und Essen schlecht
Das Mandir Palace Hotel liegt fussläufig zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten einschließlich Fort. Das Gebäude selbst ist sehr schön gestaltet (Sandsteinschnitzereien) und strahlt tatsächlich einen Palast-Eindruck aus. Unser geräumiges Zimmer war ausgesprochen sauber und in gutem Zustand, ebenso die Flure etc.
Dennoch würden wir hier nicht noch einmal buchen. Das Abendessen am ersten Abend auf der Dachterrasse ohne netten Blick schmeckte nicht und war vergleichsweise teuer. Man muss zum Essen also auf andere Optionen ausweichen. Das Frühstück ist recht spärlich in der Auswahl, nicht einmal der schwarze Tee hat geschmeckt (viel zu dünn).
Das Personal, obwohl freundlich, ist leider das größte Manko: komplett ungeschult und schon bei ein paar mehr Leuten zum Frühstück überfordert. Morgens um 06:00 Uhr haben zwei Reiniger sich laut unterhaltend die Flure gewischt und uns so aufgeweckt. Die ungepflegten Uniformen sprachen zudem Bände. Schade, aus diesem Hotel ließe sich viel mehr machen.

Hermoso hotel
Nuestra estadía en Jaisalmer no podía ser mejor, aunque no es un hotel de gran turismo lo recomiendo totalmente es un hotel situado en el centro de la Ciudad a pocos pasos de los atractivos y de la vida cotidiana de la Ciudad, la habitación es muy cómoda y limpia la comida es deliciosa el desayuno muy variado y las cenas en la terraza con una hermosa vista a la Ciudad y las personas que te atienden son muy amables especialmente Bhojraj SImgh que desde que llegamos se mostró muy amable definitivamente lo recomiendo 100% no dudaría en volver a llegar a un sitio que tiene historia propia
