Super Unterkunft
Super schöne Unterkunft, freundliche Mitarbeiter und tolle Lage direkt am Meer. Folgende Punkte sollte man aber wissen:
- Zufahrt zum Hotel ist nur mit einem SUV möglich, mit einem normalen PKW bleibt man in den Löchern hängen
- Um das Hotel herum gibt es kein Restaurant oder Imbiss, man ist auf einen Transport angewiesen, wir hatten einen eigenen Mietwagen
- Essen und Getränke im Hotel sind mit viel Liebe zubereitet und alle frisch, aber auch für Sansibar leider total überteuert. Man zahlt mehr als in Europa, sehr Schade. Ein Essen startet bei 20$ Cocktails 9$ , sorry ist einfach zu teuer für Afrika
Sonst alles perfekt!

Finger weg! Die Realität entspricht in keinster Weise den Fotos auf der Homepage. Die schöne Bucht ist voller Schiffwracks, an denen tagsüber auch lautstark gearbeitet wird. Bei Ebbe ist der Strand rund um das Gelände eine einzige große, nach Kloake stinkende Müllhalde.
Schade, denn die Anlage wäre schön, ist allerdings auch sehr abgenutzt und teilweise baufällig. Unser Bungalow qar geräumig und nett eingerichtet aber auch ziemlich vernachlässigt. Ab 5:30 ist an Schlaf nicht mehr zu denken, da die Fischer zu beiden Seiten des Hotels herum brüllen.
Speisen sind ok und frisch gekocht aber nicht außergewöhnlich.
Personal ist nett, aber bei der Endabrechnung wurde versucht uns trotz Vollpension das Abendessen zu verrechnen. Auch wurde ein extrem hohes Trinkgeld verrechnet, das wir nie gegeben haben. Zumindest dafür wurde uns Refundierung zugesagt Für 5 Nächte, die wir aufgrund der katastrophalen Umgebung nicht konsumiert haben, gibt es keine Erstattung. Ein besonders gutes Beispiel für betrügerische Anlockung und gnadenloses Ausnehmen von Touristen. Wird wohl in der ganzen Newmark Kette so sein. Besser nicht buchen.

wonderful experience
Wonderful experience at Chuini Zanzibar beach lodge! We are impressed with the attitude of everyone who works there and made our stay great. Ester, Nacha, Heppy, Elisha, Zabron, Cassimo and everyone else there - thank you! The way they treat guests is unmatched anywhere else. The attention to the details, to the individual and his moods help each client feel special.
And the plants, trees that are in the whole place give the feeling that you are in a fairy tale.
