Ski Holiday
We stayed here with our son and his family. Good apartment but difficulty unloading and loading car as car park was full. Also had to carry everything up two outside flights of stairs across the snow and up two more flights. Hard work. The children really enjoyed the pool after a days ski ing and the ski ing was brilliant.

You cannot expect more from french holiday accomodation
We have visited La Toussuire during first week of 2017 and stayed in Les Chalets des Cimes. We did not expect too much from french holiday accommodation and Les Chalets des Cimes completely fulfilled our expectation. Apartment was clean enough, all kitchen and bathroom equipment were working. Heating was working good enough. Little things like broken door hand or broken lamp bulbs or leaking sink in bathroom were immediately fixed after we asked to fix it. Stuff was very friendly and one lady even spoke English.
Just we would like to suggest couple of small improvement. First, it would be nice to mark in description of one-bedroom apartment for 4 persons, that it is only suitable for two adults and two kids. Bulk bed in bed-room is only for kids below 6 years old. Fortunately we rented such apartment for only two adults. Second, it would be nice to have more places for privet cloth - additional hooks on walls etc. Since we could not use bed-room as a bed-room, because we are older then 6 years old, we did not have much problem, we use bed-room as wardrobe. But I cannot imagine where family of four people would put there ski cloth.

The basic but nothing more, except dirt and dust.
Les Sybelles is known to be one of the cheaper ski areas. So if you chose to go to Les Sybelles you'll probably also be satisfied with a cheaper hotel and this is one of them.

We paid €280 for the room and for the skipass with 2 persons. The skipass is probably €120 for 6 days. So that leaves €160 for 7 nights or €23 per night. What do you get for that price? The usual things a living room, 1 bedroom, 1 toilet, 1 bathroom, a microwave, a refrigerator, cooking plates and a bunch of cooking and eating material.

These are the basics and the basics are ok, except for one thing and that's dirt. A lot of things were dirty. The cutlery wasn't properly washed and there was dust and hairs of previous visitors everywhere. It's easy to understand how this happens. In an apartment like this you have to clean the apartment before you leave. Then the staff comes in for a quick check and off you go. As a result everything was nice at first glance, but once you settle down you'll quickly notice all the dirt. Furthermore they don't provide any vacuum cleaners so you can't properly clean it before you leave. I know the price is low, but I consider hygiene a basic necessity.

I also have other remarks but these are more related to the "extras". For example, there's a pool but the pool is very small, more or less 40 m2. We stayed during the low season, but it was always crowded. Another example is the wifi. Yes there is wifi if you pay extra, but the connection sucks.

One more big remark is the distance to the slopes. I read it was far, but walking 2 kilometers every day till you get to a proper chair lift is long.

So as a conclusion, this residence gave us the basic but nothing more than the basic except dirt and dust.
