Highly recommended
Our group of 4 adults and 2 teenagers spent 4 days at Bluebird chalets and it was a wonderful experience. The communication prior to our visit was excellent, with transfers from Geneva and ski hire all arranged with help from Maddy. On arrival we were served delicious nibbles and shown around the chalet, which is very cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Throughout our stay Maddy and Andy were hospitable, friendly and helpful with suggestions about activites and skiing. It was a delight to come in each afternoon and find freshly baked cakes and other goodies for afternoon tea. The evening meals prepared by Andy were outstanding and a real highlight of the visit. Maddy was kind enough to drive us into Chamonix and to collect us after skiing as well as dropping us at other locations which we wanted to visit. We could not have had a better chalet experience.

Fabulous Stay!
The catered chalet experience at Bluebird Chalet was, without question, the most luxurious ski holiday we've ever experienced! After just two days our hosts, Andy & Maddy, felt like long lost friends. They have an amazing eye for detail and Andy's cooking is seriously second to none. Each day we arrived home to some warm scrumptious something and each morning rose to a lovely breakfast complete with something for everyone. The chalet itself is well laid out, spacious and spotless. All of this says nothing of the superb location. It's literally ski in/ski out. Abort the long laborious search for a chalet. Book this chalet and you'll never look back!

Wonderful as always!
Just returned form our 4th visit to Andy and Maddy's lovely chalet and yet again we had a great time. Andy and Maddy are the most welcoming chalet hosts doing everything they can to make you feel at home including taking one us us out for sledge rides. The food (as usual) was great with a three course meal every night followed by cheese (if you had any room!) as well as freshly baked cakes and goodies ready for when you get home after a hard day skiing. The rooms are well furnished with free wifi and the beds are huge making it very difficult to get up in the morning, however the though of Andy's cooked breakfast and croissants made it slightly easier! The chalet couldn't be situated in a more convenient place, just a short walk from the main gondola with an extensive ski area to offer.
This is definitely the place to stay in Les Houches, you won't regret it!

Accueil chaleureux
Nous avons décidé de passer une nuit dans ce chaleureux chalet sur la route qui nous menait vers l'Italie. L'accueil assuré par Andy a été chaleureux. Les chambres sont joliment décorées et les salles de bains modernes. Nous avons partagé une excellent dîner (Andy aux fourneaux, Maddy au service; bravo à eux deux) autour de la grande table avec une famille irlandaise. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié que nos hôtes aient accepter d'accueillir deux invités supplémentaires.

Mountaian Biking in Chamonix Valley
Second visit to Bluebird, Andy and Maddy go to great lengths to make your stay and good one. The local knowledge they have in second to none, as is Andys food! As for the biking, OUTSTANDING! Immense natural trails as well as many bike parks all within an hour using local transport, which is free with the stay. Cannot recommend them enough, we will be returning!
