With an old scent of medieval architectural and interior design elements, pleasantly combined with a touch of modern style, Ambient Residence offers everything you need for a comfortable stay in Brasov: central location, 3 star services and facilities at hand and safety.
Situated in the idyllic old part of the city, just near our two other location, Ambient Hotel and Ambient Guesthouse, Ambient Residence offers easy access to any part of the city or the surroundings.
The wooden elements and the classic warm colored furniture and decorations make you feel welcome the very first minute you walk into a room.
The residence consists of 18 twin/double rooms and 8 apartments (bedroom and living room), shared kitchen area with full equipment (refrigerator, electric hob, coffee filter, toaster, sandwich maker, microwave, dishes and crockery) and a shared breakfast lounge, with a wonderful view to the Tampa hill. All the accommodation units are non smoking as well as the breakfast or the kitchen area. Optional breakfast can be ordered or served at an extra fee.
New accommodation style comes also with new costs, which are very affordable, the prices starting from 35 euro/room/night, including wireless internet, linen and daily cleaning.
Starting with 2016, we have developed a 24h front desk office, adding additional value to the provided service. Moreover, as safety is a must for a comfortable stay, we have provided permanent video surveillance. A 40 seats conference room has been added to the facilities.

What types of beds will I find in the room I booked?The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
- What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.

How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. Lovely accommodation
I booked 2 rooms for me and my family. Spacious rooms, very warm (outside was -10 degrees), clean and furnished in harmony with the building, which is a heritage building.
Tea and coffee facilities so you can prepare whenever you please.
Very friendly staff, they provide us with all the information we needed to visit most of the places in town.

Old Is Good And Nice
The location is exceptional, located 10 minutes walk from the old center.
Although it is an old building, it is very well maintained, tastefully decorated in order to keep the charm and character of the building.
We stayed here for 2 nights and we enjoyed every minute of it. The room very nice, clean and close to the kitchen. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee looking at the view of Mount Tampa.
Most certainly we will stay here every time we arrive in Brasov

Good, but with problems
The hotel in itself is nice but the check-in is complicated since you have to go to a different place to do it. The rooms are clean but the bed are not very confortable. The hotel is near to the city center and so with a 10 minute walk you can reach the central square.

this place is complete false marng. It is not even close to what they market on expedia. Check in after 6 pm is very complicated. i not only do not reccomend this place but advise to stay very far away!!

No repetiría ni loco
En general la experiencia ha sido mala. Al llegar la habitación olía muy mal. La falta de limpieza era más que evidente. El baño no tenía papel higiénico. La cama doble no tenía sábanas, solo dos edredones individuales. Almohadas terriblemente incómodas. La cama está llena de clavos y otros restos orgánicos... De estos últimos no tengo mucho más que comentar...
In general the experience has been bad. Upon arrival the room smelled very bad. The lack of cleanliness was more than evident. The bathroom had no toilet paper. The double bed had no sheets, just two single duvets. Terribly uncomfortable pillows. The bed is full of nails and other organic remains... With the latter I don't have much more to comment...
