prestations toujours très appréciées, je me prépare physiquement pour 2025 (;-)
les cours représentent environ la moitié du temps passé sur les skis, leur contribution au plaisir de skier est de plus de la moitié! Les moniteurs tant par leurs sérieux, pédagogie et excellent relationnel y sont pour beaucoup comme le personnel qui nous accueille, renseigne... Merci
PS: type de visite : famille avec enfant adulte (25-30) pas prévu dans le questionnaire

Mixed……!
We had 3 lessons for 4 family adults (all between beginner and intermediate level). The 3 younger adults did progress and improve but I (the older skier) are probably worse at skiing than before the lessons. Little regard given after a bad fall with a head impact - basic stuff really. Remember not all great skiers make great instructors.

Cours Esf collectif
Notre fille a énormément progressé en ski cette année à l'esf, notamment auprès d'Ellen. Elle a passé de superbes moments et ne voulait plus en repartir ! Je recommande.

Too many kids in a group
We signed up our grand child aged 8 to a morning ski group. They were 13 kids with 1 instructor. Thats unacceptable no matter how good the instructor is.

Des cours de qualité au club des piou-piou délivrés dans la joie et la bonne humeur par une équipe passionnée ! Une organisation bien rodée et des enfants qui se sentent en confiance pour leurs premières semaines d'apprentissage du ski... les enfants sont en sécurité et bien accompagnés tout au long de la semaine, avec une belle fête de remise de médailles !

Unacceptable Manager Conduct at Kids(!) Club
I urge parents to seriously reconsider before enrolling their children in the ESF Kids Club at Tignes Le Lac. Despite the ski instructors being kind and supportive, our experience was overshadowed by the Kids Club manager's inappropriate conduct. It is unrealistic and contrary to what one expects from a 'kids club' to demand six-year-olds to behave like adults without providing adequate care.

Our distress was compounded when our son had a toilet accident. He accidentally peed around the toilet since he had lots of layers on and was in a hurry to pee, having held it for a while after skiing. He is a 6-year-old kid, and they can sometimes miss and cannot do it perfectly. The manager's response—to scold him loudly, demand he clean it up himself, and abruptly tell us our child would not be welcome for lunch—is unacceptable and deeply concerning. Such incidents highlight a lack of understanding and compassion that is unthinkable in an institution caring for children. This approach is not only inhumane but also goes against the principles of human rights and pedagogical standards.

Additionally, the manager's behavior towards me, including shouting and making remarks that questioned my ability to speak French, felt discriminatory. This not only shows a lack of professionalism but also suggests a prejudiced attitude that has no place in a child-centered environment.

Following this unfortunate incident at the lunch area, I reached out to the director seeking a resolution. The director's overall approach demonstrated understanding and a heightened sense of empathy towards the incident, however he also still maintained support for the individual involved in the traumatizing incident and refrained from offering significant criticism. We appriciated that he offered a solution to cover the lunch break with a private ski instructor for an additional fee. However we still didn't feel a genuine apology or true compassion for the traumatizing event experienced by our boy.

My boy was deeply upset and even declared that they no longer wished to ski due to the traumatic incident caused by the individual overseeing the ski lunch area. It's disheartening to witness such treatment of children. Such behavior is unacceptable and incredibly saddening, as it undermines the motivation and passion my boy has for skiing.

I hope management will take immediate steps to address these issues and realign the club's practices with the fundamental values of understanding, support, and respect for all children and their families.

Excelente experiencia con amigos
El mejor resort de nieve que conocí. Nos hospedamos en el club med Tignes, totalmente renovado, excelente atención y comodidades. Tanto el check in como el out fue rapidísimo. Las mejores pistas, siempre un recorrido nuevo y los niños tuvieron instructor de habla hispana y me sorprendí el último día de ver el avance que tuvieron. Claramente volveremos!

Ruined ski holiday!
After the first day of a 5 days course I was told I had to go to a slower group by Agathe. I found the level of that group much lower and the new monitor aggreed and phoned Agathe with no result. I spend the morning skiing mostly on my own and that afternoon Agathe suggested I stop the group lessons , get a refund and book private lessons. In the end I got about 50% of what I paid back and had 1 day of lessons . My holiday was ruined and I had to ski on my own. I was told I was lucky to get any refund and I will go on their black list! And if I didn’t like it I should go to a different ski school. I feel I was mistreated and I am still waiting for appropriate compensation.

Flocon Ski School
Signed our 4 yo son up for 6 mornings with ESF. He was with Matis all week. He was the only English speaker but I have to say, he got on brilliantly. It was a really challenging week, physically hard on him and he really had to step up to manage. His progress was amazing, not just his skiing but also his independence on the hill. He can do everything now required for a day skiing, get skis on, skis off, get back up and get going when he falls, use chair lifts and bubble cars safely. He was pretty tired when we collected him but he was ready to go again after a rest, and happy to get up and going every morning, in spite of it being hard. I contacted the office before booking to explain that our son had some experience already, they helped me to sign him up for the correct course. He was young for the class he was in, so it wasn't for the faint hearted, but we were so proud and impressed that he rose to the challenge. There is just no way he could have achieved so much skiing with us. I honestly feel like all British kids would benefit from a week in french ski school being toughened up 😂 We feel very fortunate we got Matis. He got great results, made the kids stand on their own two feet, but they really liked him. This was our second trip to Tignes and we plan to rebook, ESF and all for next year. Thank you for a great first time ski school experience. Can't wait for next year.

Las clases colectivas son muy útiles para esquiadores que ya tienen un cierto nivel de esquí. Yo buscaba una buena puesta al dia con las ultimas tecnicas para mejorar mi nivel y lo he conseguido.
