What types of beds will I find in the room I booked?The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. - What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.

How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". LOVE AT FIRST STAY
very comfortable place to stay and well behaved staff especially lady staff at reception. We have reached the resort at 7.30 am in the morning and without any hesitation staff offered the room we have booked even though their check in time is around 12. never had such a warm welcome experience from any hotel before. i honestly recommend River Side Regency Resort to anybody who plan to stay at north Goa. All tourist places are very much reachable from the resort. The security staff at the resort is also very well mannered and helpful. All the amenities they offered is worth for the money we spend. Next time we sure to stay at River side regency and will recommend the resort for our friends and families.

Dirtiest facility to stay in
I have booked the room for 3 days on the experience has been horrible. Fan is broken, the bed is torn, blankets are smelling bad, and bathroom smells like a public toilet.
Keep in mind they charge Rs. 1000 for an extra bed. I went to the Mangaer (Savio), he is reluctant to listen and mentioned "I don't take complaints and you can share this with the boy".
If you are coming to Goa and wants to stay near Baga, try to avoid this to save ur money. I am more than happy to share my booking details to check the authenticity of this review.

Aging Resort but nice
Riverside residency is a wee bit away from the beach, instead situated on the banks of a small river. Takes about a brisk walk of 15 mins to get to the Baga Beach where all the action is. The nice thing about the place is that it isn't in a noisy neighbourhood and not exorbitantly priced like whatever goes by the name of a beach resort. Food is nice and staff is helpful. There is a taxi hiring hut just outside which will take you where you want to go. Lots of signs in Russians and a few old comrades can be seen there too. It's OK for a short trip where you are not expecting to be sitting on the lap of luxury...

Decent, budget friendly hotel.
I stayed at this hotel with my wife for a few hours before leaving Goa. Its a decent hotel with good food and good service. Though it's not too far from the beach you would still want to stay a little closer to the beach. At least its away from the noise and hustle bustle if you are looking for a peaceful place to stay. Food is good, and the staff is efficient with their service. Bikes and cars for rent are arranged on request. All in all a decent, budget friendly hotel.I stayed at this hotel with my wife for a few hours before leaving Goa. Its a decent hotel with good food and good service. Good Place
A great location for Goa right next to Baga beech. Great owners who are always very helpful and around. The hotel runs very smoothly and is always busy. The restaurant is brilliant and all the people that work in it are always happy to help and have a smile on their face. Well done the Regency Hotel
