Hotel de 3 estrellas pero parece de 4 estrellas.
Muy grata ha sido nuestra estancia en el Roca Esmeralda.
Habitaciones amplias, limpias y con mobiliario suficiente para guardar. Cama muy grande y cómoda. Terraza del balcón muy amplia con tendedero para dejar toallas, bañador, etc.
Desayuno y cena espectacular, surtido, variedad y continuamente reponiendo para que no falte de nada en el buffet.
Hotel recomendable y si te alojas en Calpe al lado mismo de la playa y paseo marítimo.

Shocking experience we had to speak to the rep, Language barrier is terrible even with our broken Spanish we felt like they didn’t want us there.My daughter is studying Spanish so knows phrases but still felt

Food is great if you like fish and salads but for kids there is little choice as everything is either in a sauce or butter.
Rooms need upgrading and the modes need to remove glasses that we took up from the restaurant/Bar area.we had two wine glasses in our room for a week and a rum glass with lemon in until the lemon went off.We had two paper cups which once used were never replaced,
Bar and reception staff mostly rude to the point we didn’t eat in there when we could
Go elsewhere to have friendlier service, with a smile.Koko kabana and the curry place on the front. Went other places for drinks.
We spent an extra £800.00 on drinks and food as we couldn’t bear to go into the restaurant some days and we didn’t want
The hotel to get anymore of our hard earned money.
Entertainment was all in Spanish not sure where the kids club was unless you counted the bingo, quiz and Spanish dancing as that.
No vending machine and not sure where the billiard table is as it’s a pool table outside.And unsure as to where to get the ping pong bat and ball from.
swimming pool outside is cold and the umbrellas for shade was near the bar area. This meant that as my mum isn’t very mobile she sat away from us all time.When we moved a seat so she could sit with us in the sun as soon as she went to watch our daughter in the pool they through her towel onto a sun lounger (luckily this was ours) when I tried to explain by pointing that the seat was being used by my mother something was said under her breath and then the table was removed. If we were not going to put them back I would understand and it wasn’t even busy as apparently it’s out of season when we went(Easter half term).
I have just checked the prices for a three night stay in the August holiday’s and it is over £700 per person.
On some reviews last year is stated that there was someone show cooking this wasn’t there either.
We went as we take reviews with a pinch of salt as we were all different but I will always check the hotel reviews on the website and trip advisor before I.book anywhere again.Calpe town has a lot going on and is lovely but this hotel is too far away if you struggle to walk even twenty minutes but I would the other side of calpe rock and this hotel like the plague.Vote

About late checkout and we were
Advised that it would cost 10€, they tried to charge us 10€ an hour.we were given our money back and told we had the room till 4 as a way of compensating us for everything but staff still tried to get us out of the room by 2.00pm again this was changed once speaking to our rep and she spoke to the manager who runs both the Esmeralda and the diamonte across the road.

Nosotros queríamos una cama doble y nos pusieron camas separadas(siendo nuestra luna de miel, que lo avisamos)Aún así eran cómodas. El baño está bien pero el secador se pegaba en las manos como si tuviese algún pegamento. Las vistas estaban bien. Los muebles antiguos pero eso no me importa, vas a disfrutar no a ver muebles.
Respeto al buffet libre... La comida tiene un 5 justo, algunas cosas estaban buenas pero a todo le faltaba sal.
Los postres incomibles. Sólo estaba bueno el helado (en tarrina) y la fruta.
Respeto a la animación del hotel muy buena lo pasamos genial.

We enjoyed this solid 3 star hotel. Nice room. maybe a little tired but spotlesd,and huge, with tiled ensuite, full sized fridge, comfy bed and massive balcony with lovely view. We found the food to be very good with plenty of choice, the soups especially were delicious. The best part of this hotel was the staff, especially the lovely smiley Uliana in the restaurant and the very helpful Emamuel in the bar. The only hematite is non All inclusive get table service in the bar AI have to stand and queue. That aside I am happy to recommend this hotel. We enjoyed staying here.

Hotel bien situé avec vue latérale sur la mer et le peñon de Ifach.Chambres avec grand balcon. Belle plage de sable fin et mer agréable. Promenades à proximité. Seul bémol trop d'édifices élevés aux alentours.

Bon séjour. Super emplacement. Belles piscines. Le personnel est très agréable et fait beaucoup d'efforts pour parler français. Un peu cher pour la période (septembre) surtout qu'il n'y a pas de chaînes françaises ou européenne

L’accueil à la réception était au top, la jeune fille parle plusieurs langues dont le français, elle était très sympathique.

La chambre était très spacieuse avec une vue à couper le souffle, dommage pour les prises électriques qui ne tiennent pas car ça peut être dangereux et on ose pas les utiliser… et dommage pour les robinets qui laissent échapper des goutes d’eau même lorsqu’ils sont fermés dans un pays où on nous demande d’économiser l’eau..

La piscine est top!

Le bar de la piscine, il y a un serveur (Bilal) très gentil et souriant, une jeune femme blonde qui est aussi gentille et souriante mais les autres serveurs non!
Un d’eux, le soir de notre arrivée nous a dit de ne pas aller commander au bar, qu’il viendrait prendre notre commande, nous avons attendu 45 minutes alors qu’il n’y avait pas grand monde, nous l’avons appelé plusieurs fois il n’est jamais venu donc nous avons quitté le bar..

Les dames d’entretien sont très gentilles et adorables, Fatima à été super!
Lorsqu’elles viennent nettoyer, la chambre sent bon et le nettoyage est bien fait.

Le buffet est très varié, il y en a pour tous les goûts et les personnes qui y travaillent sont gentilles et souriantes, la dame plus âgée avec les cheveux courts et les lunettes à l’entrée du buffet est adorable!
Ce serait juste bien de placer les gens car lorsqu’on arrive, on doit trouver une table et si on ne laisse pas nos effets personnels à table, le temps d’aller nous servir, notre table est prise et nous devons chercher une autre table avec nos assiettes en main et la nourriture refroidit… j’avais croisé les couverts pour montrer que la table était occupée mais quelqu’un les décroisés et à occupe la table que nous avions trouvée libre à notre arrivée … et dommage qu’il n’y ait pas plus de spécialités espagnoles au buffet…

Les activités pour enfants…

Je pense que ça devrait être mieux renseigné car il y a un tableau qui indique les activités et l’heure mais pas toujours l’endroit où pas assez précisément, par exemple lorsqu’on arrive, on ne sait pas où se trouve le théâtre en plein air…

Le théâtre en plein air (qui se trouve en face de l’hôtel, il faut traverser, aller à droite, à gauche et marcher un peu avant de trouver l’entrée ) n’était pas à notre gout mais il faut reconnaître que c’est bien fait, il y a beaucoup de travail de qualité derrière chaque spectacle!

Les animations enfants à l’hôtel « mini disco » lors de notre séjour, il y avait une à deux danses avec un ou deux jeunes hommes qui arrivent, les enfants attendent parfois une heure à l’arrivée du/des jeune(s) homme(s) pour danser puis ils commencent d’un coup lorsque les enfants ne regardent plus et font leur danse seuls devant la piscine et lorsque les enfants remarquent que ça commence et se mettent à danser, c’est fini…
Ces deux jeunes hommes ne semblent pas contents d’être là…

L’hôtel est à deux pas de la plage, il est hyper bien situé donc si vous voulez juste visiter cette ville magnifique et ses alentours, c’est la qu’il faut aller! Mais si vous voulez des animations qui vont rendre vos enfants heureux, je dois avouer que j’ai connu mieux pour le même prix…

Personnel très aimable. Buffet copieux, varié et avec beaucoup de choix. Hôtel à proximité de la plage avec une belle piscine. Chambre au calme, 7eme étage, climatisation peu utilisée même par grosses chaleurs car pièce bien tempérée. Agréable séjour.

L’établissement n'a pas respecté ma demande lors de la réservation. Je n'avais pourtant jamais eu de problème les années précédentes. J’avais en plus cette année réservé 2 chambres doubles en 1/2 pension avec comme demande du côté penon, demande pourtant confirmée par l'hôtel 15 jours avant mon arrivée. Quel ne fut pas ma déception et celle de ma famille, ou après 10 heures de route, les chambres étaient complétement à l'opposé. Aucun moyen de trouver une solution avec le personnel de l'hôtel, c'était à prendre ou à laisser ! Et comme conseil de ne pas réserver en passant par BookIng ! vraiment pris en otage nous sommes resté, notre séjour gâché par ce manque de professionnalisme auquel nous n'étions pas habitués comme clients de cet hôtel depuis de nombreuses années.

Sehr nettes Personal, unser Zimmerservice war hervorragend, eine sehr nette und zuvorkommende Dame, welche täglich unser Zimmer gereinigt und die Betten frisch gemacht hat, eine wirklich tolle und freundliche Dame.
Das Essen war an sich sehr gut, aber eider etwas zu sehr englisch lastig, etwas mehr an typischen spanischen Speisen wäre toll gewesen.
Im ganzen trotzdem absolut hervorragend, wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

Sehr freundliche Rezeption, Zimmer (eher Appartment mit abgesperrter Kochnische, Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer, großer Balkon nach Osten) sauber, Einrichtung etwas älter aber i.O. Frühstück der Kategorie angemessen. Scheint ein Komplex mit (Senioren-)Residenz zu sein, da viele Personen im Speisesaal waren. Fast direkter Zugang zum schönen Sandstrand. Gutes Hotel als Strandhotel und als Standort für Ausflüge, wie wir es genutzt haben

Das dreisterne Hotel nahe am Strand verdient eigentlich einen vierten Stern. Geräumige Mehrraum Zimmer mit schönem Balkon und Kochnische, reichhaltiges Buffet Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen. Pool mit Liegen, Cafeteria, Abendunterhaltung machen den Aufenthalt zum Erlebnis. Nicht zu vergessen das Spa Angebot mit Hallenbad, Jacuzzi und Sauna sowie Massageangebot. Rundum ein Wohlfühl Aufenthalt.

Jetzt waren wir wieder schwimmen, das Schwimmbecken war sowas von Schmutzig, ich habe mit dem Zeigefinger über die Fliesen am Beckenrand gewischt und meiner Frau den Schmand gezeigt, Sie musste sofort das Becken verlassen, bekomme jetzt sicher Plack war Ihre Antwort.

Un hotel con tanti comfort, che è situato a pochi passi da una delle più belle spiagge attrezzate di Calpe, cittadina a poca distanza da Alicante. Struttura su molti piani, con appartamenti e balconi con vista sulla spiaggia. Posto macchina sorvegliato, annesso alla struttura. Un hotel comodo per chi vuole godersi il mare, a pochi minuti di macchina dal centro della cittadina, con piscina, wellness e sala ristorante. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono. A cinque minuti d’auto da Benidorm, una Rimini della Costa Blanca.

Wie oft verbringen wir Weihnachten in Calpe und da unser Stammhotel dieses mal nicht passte und wir vor Jahren schonmal im Esmeralda waren, warum also nicht. Wir wussten also um den Zustand und waren im ersten Moment überrascht, unser Zimmer schien renoviert und hatte zum Teil neue Möbel.
Das war es dann auch schon, renoviert war einfach drüber geschmiert.
Wenn ich grossfressig Kabel TV anpreise und dann habe ich 5 deutsche Programme, die schon zu Hause niemand guckt, dann lieber garnicht erwähnen oder besser weglassen. Ist eh sehr mühsam wenn einer immer das Antennenkabel halten muss, damit es nicht aus der Wand fällt.
Fruehstueck eine Katastrophe. Restaurant mit Flair einer Bahnhofshalle, ungeniessbarem Frühstück und riesen Lärm. Das das Personal im Winter kein Deutsch kann, ist mit den vorwiegend spanischen Senioren als Gästen vertretbar, aber das kaum einer Englisch spricht, ist absolut untragbar und nicht akzeptabel.
Schwimmbadnutzung mit Badekappe??? Hätte ich zuletzt in der Grundschule in den 70ern. Ich geh doch nicht wie ein Clown ins Wasser, also lieber ins Mittelmeer, zwar frisch aber sauber.
Das diese Bude voll ist kann nur damit erklärt sein, das spanische Senioren Null Ansprüche haben.
Das war rausgeworfenes Geld.

Zwar haben die meisten Mitarbeiter nur Grundkenntnisse des Deutschen. Wir haben Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, die die Sprache fließend sprechen, wir entschuldigen uns jedoch, wenn Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts Schwierigkeiten mit der Kommunikation hatten, obwohl dies in allen Abteilungen Englisch ist Es wird auf gewöhnliche Weise gesprochen.
Gemäß den Empfehlungen zu Sicherheit und Hygiene wird den Benutzern von öffentlichen Schwimmbädern empfohlen, eine Badekappe zu verwenden, um den Komfort und die Sicherheit für unsere Gäste zu erhöhen und die Badekappe im beheizten Innenpool zu verwenden. Bitte beachten Sie dass dies zu Ihrem Vorteil ist und denen in Ihrer Umgebung.

struttura in una posizione ottimale vicino al mare ed ad una bellissima passeggiata,
albergo bello un po antico( stanze specialmente i bagni) mangiare ottimo. Utile per le famiglie località bellissima.

Struttura ben tenuta e ottimamente posizionata al margine della spiaggia di levante o la fossa, che si raggiunge attraverso una piccola galleria commerciale. Dotato di ristorante interno a buffet ma vicinissimo a numerosi altri ristoranti, bar e supermercati. Personale della reception cordiale e sempre pronto a dispensare consigli o rispondere alle necessità dei clienti, ma, non in italiano (del resto in hotel ci siamo imbattuti solo in un’altra famiglia di connazionali). Camera molto funzionale, al cui ingresso presenta anche un piccolo angolo cottura, bagno con vasca/doccia provvista di eccellente flusso idrico ed un terrazzino panoramico con vista mare. Per quanto riguarda i servizi è presente un WIFI gratuito piuttosto efficiente, un bar sempre aperto, una graziosa piscina all’aperto per adulti ed una per bambini e, al seminterrato, ma, a pagamento, la possibilità di utilizzare una piscina coperta, una palestra ed una SPA. E’ presente un discreto programma di animazione e intrattenimento, grazie alle ampie aree comuni. Aspetti negativi riscontrati: la mancanza di pulizia dei lettini a bordo piscina (colpa dei numerosi gabbiani), servizi igienici annessi alle aree comuni non sempre puliti e la presenza di postazioni internet solo a pagamento. Nel complesso siamo rimasti soddisfatti e lo consiglierei ad una clientela matura o come noi, con bambini.

Ho usato questa strutture per una conferenza nel mese di dicembre, dato che si era fuori stagione, logicamente, non tutti i servizi era al 100% ma la cordialità, professionalità e la location hanno risposto in pieno a tutte le mie esigenze. WIFI funzionale gratuito nella Lobby e in alcune aree comuni, in camera a volte prendeva poca ma ero al 7 piano. Colazione, pranzo e cena a buffet. Vario, abbondante e sempre pronto. Le aree comuni sono spaziose, pulite e ben organizzate. Piscina coperta, buona palestra e sala SPA a pagamento. Le camere soffro un po' dell'età. La struttura si nota ha circa 20-25 anni, l'arredamento interno soffre un po' ma visti i costi non ci si può lamentare del servizio offerto. Calpe e Roca Esperalda mi hanno lasciato molto contento.

La struttura è davvero grande e sul bel lungomare di Calpe. Sulle strade intorno si trova parcheggio abbastanza facilmente, ma la mia esperienza si riferisce alla settimana di Pasqua. La camera era un mini appartamento con grande terrazzo e piccolo angolo cucina. Segnale wi-fi non eccellente in camera ma ottimo negli spazi comuni. Servizio di reception molto premuroso e gentile.
