Welcome to our house "J. v. Eichendorff". Our house is situated in a central but quiet location in the western part of the Baltic Sea resort of Prerow. Prerow, surrounded by the "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft" National Park, lies in the north-west of the Darß peninsula and can boast of having one of the 20 most beautiful beaches in the world (according to ARTE). The village is bordered by the Darßwald forest to the west, which begins just 400 metres from our house, and the Prerow Stream to the east. The Prerow Stream, originally a connection to the Baltic Sea, was closed in 1872 after a severe storm surge. Prerow is an old fishing and seafaring village, and the Prerow Seamen's Church is the oldest church on Fischland-Darß-Zingst. The history of the seaside resort of Prerow began in 1880. The inhabitants are proud of their tradition and Prerow has retained its rural, expansive character to this day, despite the many new holiday homes. The Darß forest with its wild and romantic western stand is unique.Our holiday flat offers plenty of space for 2 people on approx. 40 m² of living space, especially as the living area is generously proportioned. The holiday flat has 1 bedroom, a large living room, an integrated kitchenette and a bathroom/WC. The holiday flat is comfortably and stylishly furnished and has underfloor heating throughout the living area. In addition to the sofa suite, there is an additional dining table in the living room. Satellite/colour TV with flat screen, stereo system (radio, CD player) and Internet access are also included. The small kitchen is fully equipped with a hob, fridge, coffee machine, toaster and egg cooker. Crockery is of course also available.You are welcome to use the shared garden. The garden equipment includes tables and chairs and a large stone barbecue.You can also take advantage of the wellness and relaxation programmes we offer in our house. You can try out various Far Eastern health massages or take part in morning Taiji and Qigong, the ancient Chinese health exercises. By the way: We are also increasingly focussing on regenerative energy generation in our hotel. A significant proportion of the hot water and heating energy is provided by a solar thermal system. We generate a large proportion of our electricity using photovoltaics.Prerow is located in the centre of the "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft" National Park. The seaside resort of Zingst and the artists' village of Ahrenshoop are only a few kilometres away. A trip to the amber town of Ribnitz-Damgarten or the Marlow bird park is also worthwhile. The Hanseatic cities of Rostock and Stralsund are well worth a visit.
