Our Deichhof in Tossens is located directly by the sea and is suitable for 12 guests (6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms).It is equipped with a conservatory, garden, barbecue area, fireplace and WLAN. The Deichhof offers a small group of guests (multi-generational holidays, family reunions, a special birthday party or befriended couples and small seminar groups) the opportunity to holiday together and yet have their own privacy and experience unforgettable moments.the bright and friendly furnished holiday home was completely renovated in 2019.The country house, built in 1843, is situated on a 3,000 square metre plot. The Deichhof is in a completely secluded location, so you don't have to worry about disturbing neighbours. The two parts of the house, which are connected to form one large holiday home, each have their own entrance, separate kitchens, living rooms and two bathrooms. You can therefore spend your holiday in a large group, but also have enough privacy for quieter hours.The country house is located directly on the dyke. Start your day with a walk by the sea, ideal for dog owners. In summer, the sun sets directly into the sea on the opposite side of the dyke, giving you the opportunity to watch fantastic sunsets in fine weather. Watching the sheep grazing on the dyke from the kitchen window is an experience for young and old alike! Fly a kite with your children on the dyke or watch the kiters, who on windy days, often directly in front of the house, perform impressive feats.in the cold season you can end the day in front of the fireplace or stove after a walk in wind and weather. The entrances to both houses have only one step, all bathrooms and two bedrooms are accessible without any further steps. The North Sea lagoon is approx. 9 km away along the dyke, and at low tide you can go on guided mudflat walks or long walks on the seabed, and the Langwarder Groden nature trail can be reached by bike in just a few minutes. On six kilometres of paved hiking trails, you can observe the birdlife and follow the development of nature under the influence of the tides - a pioneering project for nature conservation and nature experience.
