The holiday home is located on the outskirts of Esens in a small, quiet cul-de-sac. The beach is approx. 4 km away by car or approx. 5 km via the Ostfrieslandwanderweg, partly directly along the canal. A Lidl supermarket can be reached on foot in 300 metres, an Aldi in approx. 600 metres. The train station is about 600 metres away.The house has a bathroom and a guest toilet. On the ground floor is the living/dining room with kitchen, upstairs is the bathroom with shower and bathtub and two bedrooms. The terrace leads to a small outbuilding with a washing machine and storage space for bicycles. The outdoor sauna is also located here. Wifi and cable TV are available as well as a DAB radio in the dining room.From the living area you have access to one of the two lovely terraces with barbecue area and access to the beautiful garden with an idyllic little pond. In the garden you will find the "Backhaus" with a fully equipped sauna facility with lounging and relaxation areas.There are three parking spaces in front of the holiday home on the access road, and you can store your bicycles in the outbuilding, where there is also a socket for pedelecs or e-bikes.Click on the "Pictures", "Facilities" and "Floor plan" buttons in the menu on the left to find out everything you need to know about the holiday home, its facilities, layout and the design of all the rooms.the centre of Esens is not far away and there is Lidl, Aldi and another supermarket with a bakery and butcher's shop in the immediate vicinity. The North Sea spa resort of Bensersiel is only four kilometres away and the North Sea spa resort of Neuharlingersiel is only eight kilometres away. Our location is ideal for long walks, bike tours and exploring the unique nature of East Frisia. So you can experience your holiday on the North Sea actively and benefit optimally from the stimulating climate of the North Sea. You can reach Bensersiel or Neuharlingersiel by car in 5 to 10 minutes. You can also easily get to both North Sea spas by bike or bus. For a reduced price you can explore the whole of East Frisia with the Urlauberus. We will be happy to tell you all about the amenities of our 475-year-old, cosy and pretty bear town of Esens with its historic town centre and, of course, the highlights of the North Sea spa town of Bensersiel. For example, we also have lots of small and large events and museums. Or you can simply relax in and around your beautiful holiday home, on the terraces, in the sauna and in the beautiful garden and leave Esens to the south and hike in the Schafhauser Forest and the adjoining moor nature reserve. Or explore East Frisia even further by bike. There are many rewarding cycle tours and beautiful destinations to discover. Or, for example, cycle north along the beautifully situated old railway line and then across the idyllic marshes and optionally along the "Benser Tief" to Bensersiel (What is a "Tief"? Want to know more? Click on this sentence!). This way you can reach the beach comfortably and relaxed.
