Let's walk for about a kilometer, visiting the Roman amphitheatre (in Piazza Stesicoro) until arrive to the Villa Bellini (Catania's public garden).15 kms driving and you will approach the Alcantara gorges: rafting or just visiting.Syracuse, with its archeological area and the wonderful Ortigia area, is 100 kms away.Its time to eat something and my tip is to taste the unmissable Pasta alla Norma and to enjoy, at least once, a typical Sicilian breakfast: granita and brioche!
