The summer house is fully furnished and consists of an entrance hall with shower and toilet, cosy living room, separate kitchen and on the upper floor 2 bedrooms.The summer house is equipped for 4 people but we only rent it to 2/3 adults or 1/2 adults with 1 child/baby !!!The summer house is quietly situated on the South side of Egmond aan Zee, opposite a small children's playground and near a duck pond.You can park your car close to the cottage.From the summer house it is *3/400 metres walk to the beach and *5 minutes to the centre, with its shops and terraces.The Noordhollands Duinreservaat is next door where you can enjoy walking and cycling. At *300 metres from the summer house there is a company where you can rent bicycles if necessary.The secluded garden has a lounge area where you can enjoy the peace and sun in the early to late season. BBQing is allowed in the garden.Should you wish to bring bicycles, you can place them in the garden, but they can also be rented *300 metres from the cottage.Upon entering, you enter the hall, where you will also find the shower and toilet, a cosy living room and a separate kitchen. The summer house has central heating.The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge freezer, Pads and coffee maker, toaster, panini toaster, blender, and juicer. The living room is furnished with a sofa, dresser cabinet, dining table and chairs. The living room has a (cable) TV and free WIFI/WLAN access.Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with 4 Boxspring single beds and a (baby) cot. Both bedrooms are separated by a connecting door.The size of the Boxsprings are 2 beds 90x200cm and 2 beds 80x190cm. There are 4-season duvets and pillows on all beds.You can bring your own bed linen and towels or we can rent them for a fee. There is also a washbasin in the front bedroom. The stairs upstairs are fitted with a banister and there is a children's gate. The cottage has central heating. You can also use a (baby) highchair free of charge.The municipality of Bergen consists of the 6 villages, Egmond aan Zee, Egmond aan den Hoef, Egmond Binnen, Bergen, Schoorl and Groet. Egmond aan Zee is the most famous of the Egmond villages and originated over 1,000 years ago as a fishing village, which you can still clearly see in the villagescape. And since the beginning of the last century, it has been very popular with tourists who mainly come for the peace and quiet and the healthy sea air. Prominent on the promenade is the Jan van Speyk lighthouse. The wide beach offers numerous opportunities for relaxation: beach chairs, sun beds, windbreaks and beach pavilions. Of course, there are also fishing, walking, swimming, sailing and surfing opportunities. The village offers holidaymakers plenty of entertainment, terraces, restaurants and a shopping area with something for everyone.In summer, there is an event every week, including Wednesday's night market, ´Braderie` which you can enjoy from a terrace. The shops are open all year round, 7 days a week, and easily accessible for everyone. Some places of interest in the spring are the blooming flower fields, the ruins and castle chapel in Egmond aan den Hoef, the abbey in Egmond Binnen, the Egmond museum, the cheese market in Alkmaar (Fridays) and the shopping cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem or Amsterdam. The summer house has a folder with numerous outings and places of interest.* You have free access to WIFI/Internet in the summer house.* Parking fees for zone C+D in Egmond aan Zee are included.* A ticket to the Noordhollands Duinreservaat, the dune area, is also included in the rental price.* A (baby) cot is available.* You can also make free use of a (Baby) high chair.
