¿Qué tipos de camas encontraré en la habitación que reservé?El tipo de cama suele venir especificado en la ficha de la habitación. Si tienes alguna petición o necesidad especial puedes indicarla en el momento de la reserva escribiéndola en el campo "solicitudes especiales" que será reenviado directamente a la propiedad. En este proceso MeTour no es responsable.
- ¿Qué es Paga en Estructurales y qué son las Preautorizaciones de Pago?
Al reservar, algunas instalaciones ofrecen la posibilidad de pagar directamente en la instalación. En estos casos simplemente se te pedirá que introduzcas tu tarjeta de crédito (o débito) para garantizar la reserva, pero sin ningún cargo. El importe se cargará de su tarjeta de crédito sólo en los casos previstos por las políticas y condiciones relativas a su reserva. En otros casos, cuando el Socio no adopta sistemas automáticos de disponibilidad y reserva, sino que confirma las reservas "manualmente", se le pedirá que inserte su tarjeta de crédito (o débito) para garantizar la reserva y luego se le cobrará directamente al mismo momento en que el Socio confirma la reserva (dentro de 24-48 horas). En ese momento recibirás un email con la confirmación de la reserva y el pago.

Un fallo grabe con el termo roto y a pesar de estar vacío no nos dieron ninguna solución
Hacemos el check-in a las 13:00 horas, bajamos a la piscina y al subir de la misma encontramos que no tenemos agua caliente en la ducha, avisamos a recepción de este hecho y nos manda a un técnico de mantenimiento, el técnico nos informa que debemos esperar 15 o 20 minutos y volvemos a llamar,ya que, seguimos sin tener agua caliente. Al subir nuevamente el técnico (tras haber perdido una hora) nos informa que al ser un termo de 100 l deberemos esperar entre tres y cuatro horas, por lo cual llamamos a recepción nuevamente e informamos del hecho y pedimos una nueva habitación con agua caliente para poder ducharnos lo antes posible. El recepcionista nos informa que la única solución es ducharnos en la habitación de cortesía que se ubica en el hall del hotel. Al estar en desacuerdo con la solucion ofrecida por el hotel, bajamos a quejarnos a recepción y el recepcionista con una actitud chulesca nos informa que él no nos ha dicho eso, que va a buscar una nueva habitación con agua caliente,pasado un tiempo nos ha encontrado una habitación pero debemos esperar entre cuatro y cinco horas para poder instalarnos en la misma,ya que, no tienen ninguna habitación limpia y preparada. Le informo que quiero poner una hoja de reclamaciones y hasta en cuatro ocasiones me dice que "mejor lo hablemos mañana con mi jefa" negándonos el derecho a ponerla. Al decirle que voy a llamar a la policía me informa que va a ir al interior a buscar dicha hoja, me tiene prácticamente media hora esperando y a su salida me vuelve a decir que ha hablado con su jefa e insiste en que por favor esperemos mañana para hablar con su superior, le digo que no que me la dé y me señala hacia la pared donde hay un código QR tras el mostrador de recepción con desdén. Nos parece una falta de respeto y de profesionalidad,ya que, lo único que pedimos es agua caliente que es un servicio mínimo que encontraríamos en una pensión, teniendo en cuenta que estamos hablando de un hotel de cinco estrellas cuyo precio mínimo por noche son 400 euros. A pesar de eso entendemos que pueda ocurrir un suceso adverso pero pretendemos como mínimo profesionalidad y diligencia a la hora de solucionar los problemas y en vez de eso hemos encontrado un trato vejatorio con una actitud chulesca y totalmente inaceptable en el sector servicio.

Avoid, unless you like playing the lottery!
We’ve visited this hotel three times. On the first two occasions, I’d have given the hotel 5 stars, but for the lack of warmth from most of the reception staff.
On our most recent visit, we booked a certain category of suite, having stayed in that category of suite previously. Basically it’s a 2 bed, on one floor, with jacuzzi and easy access to the shared pool.
When we arrived, we were shown to our suite. It was nothing like our previous suite. It was very dark, on two floors, with little natural light, and no direct pool access.
I asked for the suite category we had booked and was told that this suite was within that category, despite the reality that it was substantially different.
The reception staff were only able to offer me an upgrade, at extra cost, but again, this was in no way suitable for our family. It had a large bath sized pool and looked directly onto the main shared pool. Draw back the curtains and we were staring at guests by the pool and they were staring at us. Imagine being in a human zoo and you get the picture.
We stayed one night in the human zoo suite with me googling alternative accommodation on the island.
The following day, I decided to try the haughty reception staff one last time before packing up. This time I asked if there was anything available in a lower category. Lo and behold, there was. We then moved to a larger suite, with no pool or jacuzzi but at least some privacy.
In summary:-
Pros
Great suites if you strike it lucky.
Nice cocktail bar.
Cleaning ladies and staff who bring the breakfast are delightful.
Cons
Awful suites if you don’t strike it lucky.
Zero willingness from reception staff to assist or recognise that they obviously have a categorisation problem. Reception staff need customer service training big time.
Next time we will stay elsewhere, having lost trust in Baobaab. Avoid, unless you like playing the lottery.

A haven of calm and tranquillity
We loved the concept of the Baobab suites . Your own private suite complete with decent size fridge freezer and cooking facilities if required. We had two kids with us so the washer / dryer, private pool and safe and enclosed sun deck was a bonus., and at the same time we had all the convenience of Hotel service at our beck and call. Room service was quick and effective via their what’s app , this was very handy and we used it frequently. Two options for breakfast , both very good. In the evenings you could go out to local restaurants ( no shortage of those within walking distance ) , eat on site in the snack bar ( short order food ) or go across the road to their find dining offering the Kar Bon which was also very good. There is a free taxi service to and from the beach every day.
The highlight here was the reception / reservations / porter team, so helpful 24/7 they made sure our stay was very special. Also not forgetting the Spa team, providing the adults with some very much needed me time away from the kids. Overall the Baobab suites offer a haven of calm and tranquillity backed up by superb service and guest relations. Do ask for a suite on the higher floors, the lower levels are a bit close to the road. We will be back sooner rather than later.

Favourite hotel in Tenerife
Delighted to have just rebooked for 10 days at Baobab Suites..
Came here last June for the first time and loved every minute of our stay..
From the minute we walked into the reception to check in the staff were excellent throughout our stay, from the reception staff the restaurant and bar staff the cleaning staff all were so welcoming friendly and helpful..
The room (Divinity Estudio) was spacious elegant and stylish and immaculately clean with our own terrace and a shared pool, which we had to ourselves for the most part..
The breakfast restaurant was lovely with lots of choice of hot and cold food and beverages..
The main bar was picturesque with stunning views over Tenerife where we spent most evenings with a gin or two..
The pool area was amazing, quiet and luxurious again with stunning views..
An added extra was the sports centre across the road..
A well equipped gym for my morning workout was a perfect start to the day.. The food here was also very good and perfect for a more relaxed evening if we didn’t feel like going out..
Delighted to have booked again for June and can’t wait to get back..

A really 5* hotel.
We stayed for 3 nights and loved all of it. The hotel really made the holiday. It was our first time in Tenerife but we would go back just because of the Baobab Suites.
We stayed in a 2 bed suite with a pool. On checking in we were given a voucher for drinks in the bb lounge and a porter took us and our bags to our room. Just as well as we were tired and got lost! The room is exactly as good as it looks in the photos. And as an extra plus we were given a 3 bedroom suite so our kids were over the moon!!
Although we arrived about 6pm the front desk (Camilla) helped us book a dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant Karbon. The food was great. Even the kids ate everything! Kids were in the pool before we went because it was so private!
The private pool is a good size to play and swim in. We did go to the heated communal pool on a windy day.
The breakfast boxes in suite are amazing. I definitely recommend doing that at least once. The buffet breakfast was also good but more standard of more luxe than others.
I had a hydrating facial in the wellness centre. So good!!! A facial that included an unexpected head massage and so many oils and creams. V luxurious. So good I booked my husband in for head massage the next day! Highly recommended!
After checking out, we were given another voucher for free drinks at the lounge so we could relax while waiting on our taxi. It was v busy as we were around check in time but it was appreciated.
Love love love this hotel. I've put my card from Camilla in a safe place for booking our next stay!
