Es tut mir wirklich leid, aber der Service war völlig überfordert und das Essen gerade noch essbar:lauwarm,lieblos, Salat ohne Dressing, Rumpsteak ein zerfetztes Fleisch, pommes tk. Den restlichen Gästen ging es ähnlich, teilweise sind sie gegangen. Ich habe keine Ahnung, wie das lokal bisher auf gute Bewertungen kam...

We were very luck to get a table at Le Billig's, so be sure to book. Its a wonderful little place, with chef and staff making every effort to make you feel welcome, you leave feeling like you know the guy. The food is fantastic, we had Normandy Burgers, which have a potato galette in place of a bun, inside is quality meat cooked to perfection. The whole thing is smothered in cheese sauce, yes yes and YES. The only problem is not wolfing the whole lot down too quickly! I've eaten far too many burgers that promised to be as tasty as this one but fell way short, this one it top 3 of the best I've ever eaten. We shared crepes for pudding, they were equally devine. For once the food tasted as good as it looks in the pictures!

We had our three young children with us, the chef did an amazing job talking to them, trying to get them to speak a little french and making sure they had exactly what they wanted. You can tell the guy had children as the kids menu is scaled down versions of the real food he cooks, no frozen nuggets here, the kids had a cut down berger patte which was the same as the adults, drinks for the kids didn't cost the earth and came in a glass with straw that he'd not filled to the brim so no spillages,
the even loo had a kids seat. I mean this is not a kids restaurant, it just so happens to be great with kids.

If you are in normandy, go to this sleepy little village, chill out in in the courtyard, have a Normandy burger followed by a crepe and retire for a well deserved nap.

Saw previous reviews for this La Creperie Grill and called in early on a Friday evening. Although our French is not perfect Patrick our host/chef was most patient and described for us the menu and the food was excellent. Will definitely return when next in the area. Excellent.

in questo posto carinissimo, ricavato (probabilmente) da una vecchia stalla ed arredato come solo i Francesi possono e sanno, tutto ciò che c'è nella piccola carta è assolutamente ottimo (il "finto" hamburger con patate al posto del pane e annegato nel formaggio è uno dei piatti indimenticabili della vacanza......)
Punto di assoluta forza un servizio gentilissimo, simpatico, goliarda.
Uno di quei posti nei quali ti spiace non esser del posto (scusate la ripetizione) per poterlo frequentare di più.
Nel suo genere, impeccabile.

Gastgeber: super netter Typ
Essen: hervorragend, die Crêpes sind Weltklasse und die Fleischgerichte sind ebenfalls hervorragend. Wir waren in unserem Urlaub insgesamt dreimal dort essen und das war eine Ausnahme alles toll. Gastgeber bietet zahlreiche regionale Spezialität zu trinken an.
Location: sieht aus wie ein ehemaliger Pferde Stall, sehr charmant und Rustical und gemütlich

I visited this restaurant with my family and we all had a beautiful time. Our party of 13 was welcomed with a joyous greeting from the chef that clearly took pride in every bite he served us.

This area is known for their hard apple cider and calvados; a perfect way to start and finish our meal. As I sat down to drink the hard apple cider, I listened to my aunts and uncle converse with the chef and although this was all our first time there, the smiling and laughter felt so warm and familiar. The friendliness and attentiveness of the chef was enough for me to want to come back before even ordering. He let us practice our French and when we failed to understand this authentic French menu, he explained in English, and when we didn't know an ingredient, the chef brought it out to show us and try on it's own.

Our family tried lots of things on the menu from savory crepes to the Normandy hamburger with fries. How had I survived my whole life without this burger? Instead of a bun, this burger was wedged between two crispy potato hash browns and accompanied by a perfectly grilled onion, freshly sliced tomato, and topped with a cheese sauce that I wanted to dip everything in. Good thing it came with crispy fries so I could properly soak up every bit of the sauce. Mmmmmm.

We proceeded to try various flavors of ice cream and sorbets: lemon, lime, passion fruit, melon, and a rice pudding. They all were delightful and hit different parts of the palette, but my favorite was the rice pudding. My description will not give it the justice it deserves. It was reminiscent of the Mexican drink horchata with its hint of cinnamon and rice milk flavor. Sooooo good!

The chef even invited us one at a time to learn how to make crepes in the kitchen. One of my favorite things we did in France!

Wir haben das Restaurant wegen der vielen positiven Bewertungen ausgewählt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir hatten Burger, Galette und Crêpes, dazu Cidre und Calvados. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat uns Tipps für unseren weiteren Urlaub gegeben. Wir kommen sicherlich noch einmal hierher!

Two large and tasty galettes ( the chicken, crème fraiche and livarot was the highlight) a salad, two glasses of wine and friendly professional service all for 21 euros- a lovely quick lunch before the ferry .Thanks we will be back.

Eigentlich wollten wir nur kurz eine Kleinigkeit essen. Wir waren die ersten Gäste um 20h und haben uns dazu durchgerungen zu bleiben - und es keine Sekunde bereut! Es war ein sehr angenehmer Abend, mit einem sehr sympathischen Gastgeber, der sich vorzüglich um uns gekümmert hat. Zu empfehlen Hamburger Normand und Crepes Gourmand Normand als Dessert! Cidre von lokalem Anbieter - sehr lecker...... Genauso der Calvados.

Wer was auf ehrliche traditionelle Küche gibt, wird hier fündig! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen - schönes Ende unseres Urlaubes und jetzt, auf nach Epernay (nicht Epanay)

Mehr durch Zufall landeten wir hier, denn die Karte am Eingang sah vielversprechend und die Preise gut aus. Ein sehr ansprechender Gastraum und ein unglaublich freundlicher Gastgeber erwarteten uns. Mit viel Geduld und Freude erläuterte er uns die Gerichte und wir entschieden uns für ein Gallette sowie den Burger nach Art Normandie. Beide Hauptgänge bekommen von uns die volle Punktzahl. Zartes Fleisch, geschmackvolle Saucen und frische Zutaten kamen rasch auf den Tisch. Auch zwei Crêpes rundeten das Menü ab. Ein perfekter Abschluss! Absolutes Muss für Menschen mit Freude an guter landestypischer Küche.

We went there for lunch. The atmosphere was very nice. Friendly stuff which also spoke English very well. Food is typical french galette and crepes but you could also order burger or steak.
