Play Hostel Arcos

Reservé este hostel porque la tarifa que figuraba en Booking en pesos argentinos la convirtieron a dólares, con el dólar oficial.
Llegué a las 22:30 y me encuentro con que si quería pagar en pesos argentinos la cotización del dólar de ellos era a 298$A cuando el dólar oficial estaba a 148$A. O sea, MÁS ALTO QUE EL DÓLAR BLUE.
Entonces lo que en Booking figuraba por 19 mil y algo de pesos, me lo querían cobrar 43 mil y pico de pesos argentinos.
Y justamente, mi tarjeta de débito Mastercard que figura como medio de pago aceptado como era en pesos argentinos NO LA ACEPTABAN.
Pero si mi tarjeta de crédito con la que les pagué en dólares. Porque claramente hacen todo este chanchullo para cobrarte los dólares.
A las 22:30 no estaba en condiciones de salir a buscar otro lugar para dormir. Por eso terminé accediendo a pagar en dólares.
Es increíble cómo estafan a los turistas.
Aparte de que 1 hora antes de llegar te mandan "las políticas de pago" por Whatsapp que "te deberían de haber llegado antes, te pido disculpas".
Pésimo pésimo pésimo. Me sentí sumamente estafada.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. I speak very little Spanish, but they speak enough English to help me with any questions, including sharing ideas of things I might do for fun. It's in a perfect location -- close to a major subway station and bus stops, very near a hip shopping area, and surrounded by cool restaurants and bars. And it is very inexpensive!

Très bien placé, lieu assez sympa et beau qui a du charme (ancien), personnel très gentil, et dispo ! Le tout était assez propre, toutefois c'est assez mal isolé et pas insonorisé du tout mais ce n'est pas bruyant pour autant. Très bonne expérience je recommande

Palermo ist eine nette Gegend, wenn man in Buenos Aires ist. Nicht direkt im City centre, sondern eher im Szene-Viertel, mit coolen Bars und Läden. Das Hostel selbst ist aber eher in einer Nebenstraße und auch nicht laut. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und die Zimmer gut. Sauberkeit ist nicht top bzw. nicht in der Tiefe gegeben, aber völlig okay. Die Putzfrauen geben jedenfalls ihr Bestes. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gegeben. Schade fand ich, dass es kein Frühstück gab. Dafür gibt es den Bonus von Yoga-Klassen an manchen Wochentagen.

Même si nous étions au rdc nos 3 nuits ce sont bien passées. Le cadre est très agréable, l'emplacement pour visiter Bueno Aires est très bien. Les sanitaires étaient propres et le personnel serviable et agréables. Certes dortoir et salle de bain un peu vieillot mais pas dérangeant pour quelques nuit : bon rapport qualité prix !

I booked a twin private with ensuite from Jan 2-5. When we arrived, however, the bathroom was covered in mold to the point that it was absolutely unusable.
We decided to spend one night. Poor choice. I woke up the next morning with bites and reactions along my elbow and wrists. The mattresses were old and disgusting - same with the covers. I doubt the throws have ever been washed. We left early on Jan 3th because of how filthy it was.

When we discussed with the front desk, they agreed that the bathroom was unusable due to mold and thought refund 1 night of stay was reasonable. However, the manager/owner would not agree and offered to clean the room - which is ridiculous consider it is mold!

Avoid this place!!!

Ma tante et moi avons passé 4 nuits dans cette auberge de jeunesse: 2 nuits a notre arrivée à Buenos Aires et 2 nuits avant notre départ. Nous n’avions pas réservé ailleurs pour ces 2 dernières nuits et avons décidé de revenir à Hostel Suites Palermo, tout particulièrement à cause du super accueil qui nous y a été réservé à chaque fois. Le personnel est jeune mais très pro. L’accueil y est chaleureux, les conseils donnés avec gentillesse et bonne humeur et ils ont même appelé un taxi à notre demande.
La bâtisse est ancienne et ne manque pas de charme même si des travaux de modernisation seraient peut-être à prévoir dans les chambres notamment. Ceci dit, le ménage y est fait tous les jours et les chambres sont propres.
L’emplacement est également positif car à 2 pas d’une station de métro et d’une grande rue commerçante.
Attention cependant: la chambre dont nous disposions était assez exposée au bruit et à la lumière car elle était séparée d’une mezzanine commune par une porte fenêtre vitrée (avec rideau), peu intime donc. Contrairement à ce qui est indiqué sur le site booking.com le petit déjeuner n’est pas inclus dans le prix de la chambre mais il est facile de prendre un délicieux petit déjeuner pour quelques pesos seulement à moins de 5 min de marche.
Bref, nous sommes très satisfaites de ce séjour à Hostel Suites Palermo et remercions le personnel pour sa gentillesse.

This hostel has helpful and pleasant staff, who were patient with my poor Spanish skills, as well as being English proficient themselves. It is clean and well-structured. The breakfast is rather good. Perhaps the best thing is the excellent location, in one of Buenos Aires's best suburbs, within a quick trip on the metro to anywhere else in the city. The only downside (though small) in my stay, was the rather loud pair of men in my room at all hours of the night. Hardly the hostel's fault. I would happily stay here again.

This location is not at all recommendable. I dont want to start with all the little things that were wrong. But they had BED BUGS. and not only a few. We also found some dead ones.

When we complained the reaction was even worse, obviously they knew they had bed bugs and still they werent doing anything... In contrary, we were even asked "What do you want". We got a new room, but that was all (as we couldnt leave without paying all reserved nights!). At the end we were full with bites, that are still not gone over 10 days later.

To be fair: The "normal" stuff at the reception was very nice and really tried to help us out, but because of their "manager" they could not do anything but be nice to us. The manager was the worst, she really didnt care. We showed her all our bites, but she was almost never available and she really didnt care what was going on in the Hostel.

Cette auberge ne m'a vraiment pas convaincu. La bâtisse est certes traditionnelle mais très sombre, sale et vieillotte. La chambre n'était pas très propre, mal insonorisée et absolument pas confortable. Le personnel était d'une amabilité très relative. Le wifi fonctionnait cependant bien et il y avait un petit déjeuner correct mais sans plus avec une petite cuisine. Même si cette auberge est bien placée je pense qu'il est largement possible de trouver un meilleur rapport qualité prix dans le même secteur.

Pour nous, c'est vraiment importante de savoir son opinion, nous sommes dans une procédure de restructuration du personnel, et nous espérons a partir de ça, une mieux attention de notre équipe.

Le insonorisation c'est une autre chose que nous travaillons maintenant, le wifi aussi.

Cucina,i receptionist sono simpatici e disponibili,wi fi buono,unico piccolo neo...troppa
Luce nelle camere,le tende dovrebbero essere più coprenti!

Immeuble possédant une architecture tres jolie avec des moulures au plafond et une decoration de tres bon gout. Equipe tres sympa et prix raisonnable !!! L hotel est situé dans l'un des meilleur quartier de Buenos Aires !

Posizione buona ma non in una zona centrale di Palermo, personale abbastanza disponibile, spazi comuni non particolarmente ampi ne particolarmente ben tenuti.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera privata con bagno, sinceramente molto scarsa. Da quello che ho potuto vedere le camerate al piano terra sono più carine. I bagni lasciano decisamente a desiderare.
Anche in considerazione del prezzo, non ci tornerei.

Abbiamo passato 3 notti in questo ostello in una camera doppia con bagno. La camera è pulita e viene rifatta ogni giorno. Non sappiamo per i dormitori. La struttura è bella (ex istituto geriatrico) ma, come quasi tutto a Buenos Aires, andrebbe mantenuta meglio!
Lo staff è gentile. La posizione è abbastanza buona, vicino al centro di Palermo ma un po' lontana dal centro città. L'unica vera pecca è la colazione: il caffè sa di acqua del bagno riciclata!!e non c'è grande scelta! in più, devi lavarti le tazze quando hai finito (con una spugna che è stata messa lì a inizio secolo!!). Non abbiamo usato la cucina perchè sembrava sporca e non c'era grande spazio.
Il prezzo è un po' alto per la doppia con il bagno ma nella media di Bs As.

Wir waren 2 Wochen in Argentienien unterwegs und haben dabei in 8 verschiedenen Hostels uebernachtet. Hostel Suites Palermo war dabei das zweitteuerste aber mit weitem Abstand das schlechteste.
Wenn man reinkommt ist erstmal alles schoen hergerichtet, sauber und die Mitarbeiter ueberaus hoeflich.
Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer, was einfach nur klein, stickig und laut war. Ok, das kann in einem Hostel schon mal passieren. Die Toiletten/Duschen waren draussen auf dem Gang und absolut eklig. Ich habe schon einige Hostels in anderen Erdteilen gesehen und bin auch nicht sonderlich empfindlich.
Aber so schlimm in Sachen Sauberkeit war es noch nie. Man hat sich nur geekelt und wollte nur noch weg.
Nie wieder dieses Hostel. Leider koennen sie sich das erlauben, weil sie im In-Stadteil Palermo liegen.
