Bellissimo hotel camere spaziose e pulite bagno grande e funzionale vasca/doccia, se devo dire l'unico piccolo problema era la porta in vetro che tendenzialmente allagava un pò il bagno ma è un difetto comune di queste mezze porte. Sala da pranzo molto bella grande colazione e cena di buona qualità.

It's one of the most useless in all respects, it deserve 5* rating. There are so many negatives:

1. No Bell Boys
2. They don't replenish water bottles or coffee sachets.
3. They don't refill empty dishes for Dinner or B/f. The spread is also very poor.
4. Very rude staff except for Ms. Lisa at the front desk
5. It's way out of town, the only saving grace was the mall next door.

The faults can go on n on....

Très belle hôtel avec un emplacement idéal près du centre commercial carrefour Borj fez , restaurants : Burger King , McDonald,pizza Hut
Personnel très agréable , très accueillant et surtout disponible.
Chambre spacieuse nous avions la vue sur la piscine et la médina.
Le petit déjeuner est complet .

Hotel très chère para rapport au service.
On nous facture pour un hôtel 5 étoiles , qui coûtent très chère mais qui ne les vaut vraiment pas.
Heureusement que l espace piscine extérieur vaut le détour.
Si je devais revenir à Fès je ne reviendrait pas dans cet établissement.

We selected this hotel for our small group tour of Morocco because it was positioned as an upscale property which it is not primarily due to ineffective management. Here is what we experienced:
- non caring staff
- sub par food in restaurants at all meals ( no fresh fruit, lack of replenishment in buffet)
- stains and spills in hallways/public areas that were never cleaned
- no porters to assist with luggage

Highly recommend selecting a different property if staying in Fez.

The main issue with this hotel is the location - it is a bit far from old fes and the markets. Also, while it is next to a mall - as noted by others - who cares, the food places there are mediocre fast-food places.
Our rooms (we had two) were clean and quiet - if also dated.
Service in the hotel was attentive and friendly.
We didn't have dinner or lunch here (there is a restauarant on site as well as a small cafe next to the swimming pool), but the breakfast buffet was vast and largely very tasty.
The pool was very large and a great place to relax at the end of the day.
Prices were very resaonable (mid-range).
Except for the location, I would recommend this hotel for those who want a quiet, comfortable, hotel at a good cost.

Albergo con bellissima hall, ma stanze piuttosto piccole e datate. Errore nell’assegnazione della camera ma risolto in pochi minuti. Ottima lo colazione e buona la cena a buffet. Male il servizio, abbiamo atteso più di un’ora per avere il telo per la piscina mentre l’addetto ci rideva letteralmente in faccia, alla fine in reception ci è stato detto di utilizzare l’asciugamano della doccia della nostra stanza.

L'hotel si trova nei dintorni del Palazzo Reale e del quartiere ebraico e le camere lato piscina godono di vista sulla medina.
È dotato di parcheggio interno.
La hall è, come spesso avviene in queste strutture, di enormi dimensioni ma le camere ed I bagni hanno necessità di essere ristrutturate; il mobilio è datato ed il bagno è dotato di una vasca da bagno/doccia particolarmente pericolosa per quanto riguarda l'accessibilità.
Buona la colazione servita al piano piscina, non testati i ristoranti.
Un consiglio a chi intende andare in taxi alla medina: durante il giorno tariffe nella media mentre alla sera per 2 volte si è presentato lo stesso taxista disonesto con tariffa fissa 50 dirham. Ritengo che, essendo chiamato da chi si trova alla sbarra di ingresso hotel non si tratti di una coincidenza che arrivi sempre lui! La seconda sera avendo atteso mezz'ora che arrivasse ci siamo resi conto che basta uscire dall'hotel e fermarsi fronte strada, fermare il primo taxi che passa e spendere meno della metà.

Ottima la posizione ma incommentabile il resto.
Perfettamente consapevole che le 5 stelle attribuite non sono paragonabili agli standard nostri, questo hotel lascia molto molto a desiderare sotto tutti gli aspetti.
Camere e bagno fatiscenti, assoluta mancanza di pulizia soprattutto in bagno; 1 SET ASCIUGAMANI DA UTILIZZARE IN DUE; a disposizione UN BICCHIERE IN DUE per bere e lavarsi i denti (il tutto è stato richiesto più volte alla reception ma è stato completamente ignorato) per non parlare della mancanza di bollitore, caffè/the' , zucchero e tazze.
Colazione e cena di infima qualità. I tavoli apparecchiati sommariamente, puntualmente mancava qualcosa..
Personale scortese e quasi inesistente.
Sconsigliato.

Hotel fantàstico en todos los sentidos. Bien situado, personal atento, instalaciones muy limpjas, servicial , cambio de divisas, te suministan información de atracciones cercanas, etcètera.
Solo un pequeño pero.... los desayunos con mucha verdura y poco desayuno europeo. Sirven cerveza y demás en el bar.

Un hotel perfecto para visitar Fez. En una zona tranquila y a un paso de todas las atracciones turísticas de Fez. Es moderno, con una muy buenas instalaciones. Muy destacable resulta el spa y con unos precios muy asequibles.

Schönes Zimmer, das im April rund um die Uhr geheizt wird. Auch wenn es draußen tagsüber 30 Grad sind - nachts wird es ja noch kalt. Nicht individuell zu regulieren. Frühstück mit Plastik- und Pappbechern. An meinem ersten Morgen war eine größere Reisegruppe da und das Personal völlig überfordert. Auf einem Tisch stehen zwei Kannen Kaffee zur Selbstbedienung, die waren ständig leer usw. Am zweiten Morgen gab es kein Obst. Zumindest Orangen gibt es eigentlich an jeder Ecke. Tuve la ocasión de visitar el hotel y utilizar su spa, el cual me encantó. Después preguntamos por las excursiones y quede muy satisfecho. Me proporcionaron un chofer con una gran furgoneta muy cómoda. Ademas Raduane, el chófer, conocía perfectamente el entorno, fue amable y hablaba varios idiomas. Lo recomiendo para conocer bien los alrededores de Fez.

Aunque el hotel tiene una gran infraestructura, y seguro tuvo su momento de gloria, hoy debido a una mala administración y dejadez el hotel debería ser considerado un 3 Estrellas y tener una tarifa acorde a sus prestaciones.
Desde el día 1 que se le dijo a la recepcionista que había una media soquete en el techo topando la alarma de incendio. Nunca la sacaron. El 3er día la habitación estaba limpia más o menos (hay detalles que dejan mucho que desear) y no habían dejado toallas, las solicitamos y demoraron 20 minutos en traerlas, y nos percatamos que tampoco habían repuesto los amenities, al solicitarlo a la recepcionista por teléfono, le pareció gracioso; y nunca enviaron los amenities, hasta que tuvimos que bajar a reclamarlos y solicitarlo o personalmente.
Ese mismo día habíamos solicitado el listado de precios del servicio de lavadero, a las 9am, la recepcionista nos dijo que iban a alcanzarnos la lista de precios en el momento, esperamos una hora, la lista no llego y partimos a nuestra excursión, al regresar al medio día la solicitamos de nuevo, ya que al día siguiente partíamos a otro destino y contábamos con utilizar el laundry service de este hotel, la recepcionista llamó a housekeeping y nos entregaron la lista sin garantizar que al día siguiente la ropa estaría lista antes del check out. Me mostré bastante enojado por la situacion y ofrecieron el almuerzo sin cargo en la piscina, donde nos encontrábamos. El día del check out al entregarnos la cuenta, nos informa que teníamos que pagar el almuerzo de la piscina, y la recepcionista no estaba al tanto de que el almuerzo era sin cargo. Realice nuevamente el descargo de los 3 días de alojamiento, con la recepcionista y llamo por teléfono al gerente, y eran las 10 am y el gerente no estaba en el hotel un día lunes. El mismo no estaba informado de nada, tuve que explicar por 3ra vez lo sucedido, y argumentó que no se encontraba en el hotel para solucionar los inconvenientes, diciendo que debíamos pagar el almuerzo y que por favor no escriba nada en Booking ni en TripAdvisor, que le mandáramos un email. Nosotros que manejamos empresas de turismo entendemos de los detalles de la hostelería y bajo ninguna manera se deben escapar los detalles en un 5 Estrellas (ejemplo la host del desayunador masticando chicle y jugando con el celular), pese a todo destacamos el servicio del bellboy del turno noche y el personal del restaurante de la piscina. De todos los hoteles que nos alojamos de 5 Estrellas en Marruecos, este no lo vale. No malgasten el dinero

Im Rahmen einer Rundreise (Königsstädte) übernachteten wir hier dreimal, was sehr angenehm war. Die Lage in einem grünen Tal mit Blick auf Bäume, Weinreben und Büsche ist eine echte Erholung, wenn man den ganzen Tag durch die Altstadt dieser traumhaft schönen Stadt gelaufen ist. Auch der Garten mit vielen Liegen lud zur Entspannung ein. Der Service war hervorragend, schnell und freundlich, das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen, und auch das abendliche Buffet bot frische, teilweise auch typisch marokkanische Gerichte. Das Zimmer war sauber, die beiden großen Betten sehr gut. Auch ohne organisierte Reise kann man von hier aus problemlos die Altstadt besichtigen: In die jüdische Stadt El-Jedid mit dem Königspalast braucht man nur den Hügel hoch zu gehen; in die berühmten Souks der Medina "El-Bali" nimmt man am besten ein Taxi (wir haben umgerechnet dafür € 3,00 bezahlt!).

Das bestausgestattet Hotel liegt in einem Park mit Palmen und einem Pool (noch nicht in Betrieb). Zimmer sind toll ausgestattet. Das Restaurant bietet Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet mit ausreichendem Angebot. Parkplätze.

So unterschiedlich wie die Bewertungen im Trip Advisor für das Palais Medina & Spa sind, so hat auch das Hotel zwei Gesichter: ich hatte es zwar als 5 Sterne Hotel gebucht, bekam aber in der ersten Nacht ein dunkles und nicht unbedingt sauberes Zimmer in der Ecke zwischen zwei Gebäuden, das keine drei Sterne verdient hätte. Der Aufzug mit frei hängenden Kabeln war ein Sicherheitsrisiko: er hielt einige Zentimeter vom Stockwerk-Level. Die Massenabfertigung im Restaurant (Buffet) war nicht überzeugend - u.a. auch wegen des Blicks auf den ungepflegten Indoor-Pool. Nach massiver Reklamation bekam ich ein wirklich schönes, großes und sauberes Zimmer - warum nicht gleich? Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich, der Außenpool okay.

Die Hotelanlage inklusive der Poollandschaft laden zum Verweilen ein. Die Zimmer sind großzügig angelegt, alles wirkt neu und sauber.

Das Restaurant ist der Größe des Hotels entsprechend, dennoch sehr nett gestaltet. Am Abend gab es dezente Live-Musik (nicht traditionell marokkanisch), die uns sehr gefallen hat. Die Bar ist nicht sonderlich gemütlich, wirkt eher wie eine Empfangshalle ohne jeglichen Charme.

Was uns nicht gefallen hat, war die Serviceorientierung des Personals, weit entfernt von 5 Sternen. Ob an der Rezeption, im Restaurant oder in der Bar - alle sehr zurückhaltend, aber leider im negativen Sinn. Hier könnte wirklich noch verbessert werden - gerade im Vergleich zu unseren Erfahrungen in den anderen Hotels unserer Reise.

Dennoch können wir das Hotel weiterempfehlen, die Lage ist sehr gut, das alte Fes recht gut zu erreichen.
