Just wow.

If I could give this review more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. There are lots of incredible reviews and it truly is as good as it seems!

Firstly, the owners - this is an absolute credit to them. A husband and wife that decided to build these apartments and have captured beautiful holidays for so many people. They will do absolutely anything for you, are so kind, they checked in with us all of the time to see how our holiday was going. We asked for recommendations on food and were told where they went for food - which we do prefer as we love the local traditional Greek food. We took their recommendations and we rated those restaurants 5/5.

The photos on reviews do not even do the place justice. The build and decor has been so thoroughly thought through. Everything in your room is hand made by local companies which gives that extra bit of touch. Our room was incredible spacious with such a beautiful view as you stepped outside into your private pool.

Breakfast was brought to our room every single morning (we didn’t have to move a muscle!) and it was something different everyday which we really enjoyed. They ask if you have any allergies or if there is anything that you do not like on arrival but for us, we have no allergies and will eat all - so we really got the benefit from breakfast! Everyday was fresh, hot and promptly on time. We’ve never had a service like this before, so it was something that we really enjoyed.

The main pool was big with enough sun lounges for us all. There are also tables and chairs as they serve food until late afternoon if you’re looking for a bite for lunch. We often was in our private pool throughout the day but then as the sun dipped, we went up to the main pool as it’s on a slow slope (not very long!), so the sun lasts for longer up there. We enjoyed both a lot!

The cleaner was excellent, she made us laugh quite a few times and was always very cheerful.

We’ve never been to a place like this before as we usually visit big hotels but we would not look back now. We haven’t been to Crete in 10 years and this was so lovely to visit. We will definitely be returning.

There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants around - everything is in walking distance. We even walked to Old Town Malia (beautiful restaurants) one evening which was only 30 minutes. But either way you come out of the hotel, there is something for everyone.

There are parking spaces available if you do hire a car. We never had an issue for parking.

Just want to say a massive thank you Annatolia and her husband for such an incredible holiday. We arrived home and have been looking at photos ever since!! We miss the place so much. A beautiful couple and the most stunning resort.

Me and my wife stayed here for 10 nights in September and we couldn’t recommend staying here enough we loved every minute of it.
The whole place is stunning everywhere is spotless the rooms are a good size WiFi is very good can even get it up at the main pool area the TVs have Netflix, large bathroom and the rainfall shower head is probably one of the best showers Iv ever had.
We stayed in suite 104 and had our own patio area with a pool and which we loved
Every morning we had our breakfast brought to us honestly that was the best part of the whole stay the breakfasts were all lovely fresh orange toast tea/coffee and then each day something different from yoghurt with fruit and granola to scrambled eggs the ham and cheese toasties were my favourite.
The main pool area is great in the sun all day clean good size pool and plenty of sun beds
Also has a bar which serves hot and cold drinks plus food which was all very nice.
The staff were great it’s family run and the job they do is brilliant We had a late flight and had to check out at 11 as the next guests were arriving that day if the apartment was free they said they would have no problem letting us use it until out transport arrived and they were fine with us leaving our luggage in the office and we could still use the pool area after checking out.
The location is perfect too there’s plenty of cocktail bars and restaurants every restaurant we went to the food was very good I don’t even have a recommendations they were all good.
Car rental across the street is recommended using them if you want to hire a car
Plenty of supermarkets and excursion shops everything you need really.

We travelled here in July with friends, from the moment we arrived there is nothing at all we can fault the hotel is absolutely beautiful the rooms are stunning with everything you could need the hotel is stunning and the main pool is wonderful, lovely breakfasts, drinks around the pool fantastic service and always a happy smiling face from everyone looking after us this truly is a beautiful place spotlessly clean well looked after and in a prime location - without a doubt we will return

Anassa Suites is undoubtedly one of the finest places I’ve stayed at in Crete. Our hosts, Marianna and Marios, were wonderful and went above and beyond for us. Their extensive knowledge about the area is invaluable, so be sure to ask them for dining recommendations. The complex is perfectly located in the heart of the main street, surrounded by a plethora of restaurants, bars, mini supermarkets, and a car hire place just across the road. It truly offers everything you need. Taxis are reasonably priced, operate via WhatsApp, and are both reliable and comfortable.

The highlight of our stay was the pool. If you have the chance to visit Anassa Suites, I recommend requesting Room 103, which I believe is the best. Each morning, breakfast is delivered on a tray by Thanis and Marios, providing a peaceful start to the day. The pool is perfect when you want to avoid the beach, and the main pool area is luxurious with ample space and comfortable sunbeds. The atmosphere is tranquil, as the resort is adults-only, making it ideal for those seeking peace and relaxation. Marianna and Marios work tirelessly day and night, and their warmth is truly appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to return—this place is a slice of heaven, perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

We opted for the suite with private pool as we are fairly shy people. I love the aspect of the room being steps away too, it meant I could retreat to the cool if the sun became too much.

Mariana and the staff were amazing I must say, from start to finish she couldn’t do enough to help. Whether that was booking taxis, giving us tips on restaurants or general information, it always felt that she went above and beyond.

The location was ideal. Outside the entrance and within metres, you have a few local bars and restaurants. However if you want to try the raucous Malia strip, that’s around a 15 minute walk. Malia old town which is beautiful was around 35 minutes walk or a €10 taxi

All in all we had a brilliant week mainly due to The Anassa Suites and their hardworking staff. 100% we would return here
