This former Hungarian country house has been preserved in its original form by the German owners with great attention to detail and has been attractively furnished. Thanks to the comfortable interior, the spacious outdoor area with playground and barbecue area, and the petting zoo with tame ponies, this holiday home is ideal for a relaxing family holiday, for hikers, cyclists, horse riders and anglers. It is located on the edge of the small village, wonderfully central in the wine-growing region between Lake Balaton, Pécs - the European Capital of Culture 2010, the Danube and the flower town of Kaposvár.

The house, which was last renovated in 2022, has a living space of 90 m² and is divided into three large double bedrooms, each with a private en-suite shower room with WC. The bedrooms are entered separately via a cosy communal area with comfortable seating. Your covered breakfast veranda is just three steps away from the typical summer kitchen, which is fully equipped and located in a separate part of the building. In the first bedroom, the "brass room", you sleep in a 180 cm x 200 cm box-spring bed with bedside tables on both sides. A couch offers a place to relax in the evening. The TV with German programmes provides entertainment. From this room you enter a private shower room with WC, glass shower cubicle, bathroom window, wash hand basin and illuminated mirror as well as make-up mirror. In the second bedroom, the "Blue Room", you will find a wellness waterbed, a satellite TV with German programmes, electric shutters and an equally equipped bright shower room with WC. The third bedroom, the "Romantic Room", is characterised by rustic antique furniture and a seating area. A television and an en-suite bathroom are also a matter of course in this room. The communal area includes a cosy couch in the light-flooded bay window, as well as a seating area with books and shared games in front of the entrances to the bedrooms. Your private kitchen is located in the adjoining building and is equipped for extensive self-catering with all the usual appliances such as a dishwasher, 4-zone ceramic hob with oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and a bread bin.

Beautiful seating and lounging areas surrounded by fragrant fruit trees and a variety of herbs on the large, fully fenced property around the house invite you to linger in the great outdoors and unwind. You can end the evening with a glass of the landlord's own good wine on the covered veranda. For all those who like to barbecue, there is a new, brick-built barbecue right next to the breakfast veranda for free use. Children can enjoy the small playground with swings, climbing wall and slide.

Animal lovers can watch the goats, sheep, woolly pigs and chickens. You can also sit on the farm's own tame ponies Rebecca and Barny. Fresh bed linen and towels are included in the rental price. The bed linen is of certified quality made from natural cotton fibres without formaldehyde additives, produced in an environmentally friendly way, bleached without chlorine, skin-friendly and pH-neutral.

The fresh, clear forest air can be really enjoyed on a long hike through the surrounding vineyards. There are good riding and fishing opportunities in the neighbourhood, as well as excellent restaurants serving Hungarian cuisine at very reasonable prices. Dogs are welcome everywhere, even in the house. Dog lovers will find a dog training area with exercise equipment just a hundred metres away. Shopping facilities await your visit just one kilometre away. Young and old alike can cool off on hot days and relax in the cold season at the Gunaras spa and wellness centre, which is just 5 kilometres away. A 55 °C spring provides mineral-rich healing water that is ideal for treating a variety of ailments. The large wellness area with thermal pools heated up to 38 °C, various saunas, whirlpool, solariums and many other facilities ensure health and well-being. On hot summer days, the nearby Lake Orfü (approx. 30 km) offers everything your heart desires, and dogs are allowed almost everywhere. This includes bathing beaches, jetties and fishing facilities. Water sports such as sailing and windsurfing can also be practised there. You can experience culture in numerous museums and observation towers. The newly built medieval theme park in Bikál is also about 20 kilometres away and regularly hosts cultural events such as musicals and concerts. Pécs is worth a day trip after about 45 kilometres, as is the flower town of Kaposvár, about 40 kilometres away. The capital Budapest is about 120 kilometres away, Lake Balaton only about 65 kilometres.
