Ridiculous concept whereby you cook your own food but pay top resturant price as if it was cooked for you by a professional chef.

For example, I paid 30 euros for 6 unseasoned raw prawns which I cooked myself and I almost paid 40 euros for a raw steak but we left as I found out I would have to cook that too.

Why on earth would I pay all that money for raw food when I could go to the local supermarket for a 1/4 of the price and cook it at home myself?

Finally, the buzz cut waiter was arrogant and needs to learn how to talk with customers. The main problem for me is the price, everything is too expensive, once you consider you're cooking everything yourself.

Sehr bemühtes Personal, das Essen ( wir hatten diverse Steaksorten auf heißem Stein und Burger) sehr lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir waren 6 Personen und alle haben sehr gut gegessen. Etwas Abzug gibt es für die Ambience draussen, hätte m. E. etwas gemütlicher sein können. Drinnen sieht es super schön aus. Preis/Leistung ist völlig in Ordnung.

This restaurant came highly recommended by friends and is in a great location between the bridges in Port Frejus.

The evening here started ok with suitably prompt attention once seated and our order was taken in a reasonable time too. However from seating to the arrival of our raw food took over 1 hour and 20 minutes.

At no point were we offered any explanation or apology for the delay which we found totally unacceptable when you consider the kitchen are literally preparing a few chips and some sliced vegetables to accompany plates of raw meat/fish which you then cook yourselves!

Our chosen meals consisted of raw beef, raw chicken and raw fish. At no point were we offered anything other than one set of cutlery, so no specific or separate cooking utensils. My chicken breast was a little on the thick side so I sliced it with my eating knife and the had to use the cooking stone to try and make the knife safe to use to eat with again. All a bit risky for potential food poisoning for us and anyone with small children would need to take extra care!

At no point during the remainder of the evening were we asked if we wanted any further drinks, not even water when an empty bottle stood on the table when our raw food finally arrived!

The stones you cook with are ok but very quickly lose their heat and are far too small for two people to cook with when you are both starving having waited so long for the food to arrive.

Having eaten we requested the bill and had hoped to to see the delayed food arrival had been taken into consideration, but it hadn’t, so we subsequently complained. To be fair to the restaurant they then took one meal off our bill which reduced it from 153 Euro to 120, which we felt was still pretty expensive given we were a party of 4 with just a main course, 1 small bottled beer, a glass of Coca Cola, 50 cl of house wine(20 euro) and a bottle of tap water!

So in summary great location, great concept but very poorly executed, tasty meat but far too timely to arrive at the table, questionable approach to food hygiene and generally extremely over priced for very poor service. Plenty of other places in the port to chose from so go to one of them instead. t

Ho deciso di dare 5 perché questo ristorante ha una sua personalità, oltre a dell’ottima carne. La location è suggestiva a 1 metro dai motoscafi ormeggiati, questo ristorante offre un ricco menu di carni di diverso taglio e provenienza. Le potete consumare sia come tartare (condite i tanti modi diversi ma tutti appetitosi), sia come carpaccio sia sulla pietra calda (pierrade ) che è molto divertente. Il tutto accompagnato da verdure (cipolle, peperoni, funghi Champion) e patatine fritte o purea o ratatouille.
Io ho preso 3 tipi di carni per un totale d 300 gr è uno di questo era il Cobe...una bella fetta...e onestamente 47 euro...mi è sembrato assolutamente adeguato...a Torino quando l’ho assaggiato ho speso molto di più per un pezzettino quasi invisibile!
Ecco perché do’ 5. Ho visto che offrono anche gamberi....per chi non volesse la carne. Consigliato!

Mi è stato consigliato questo posto per la qualità della carne, e devo dire niente da ridire carne ottima . Ma quando paghi un certo prezzo pretendi che tutto vada bene, ho chiesto il sale e sono dovuta andare a prenderlo da sola su un altro tavolo, ho chiesto pane e ancora lo aspetto, peccato perché la qualità del prodotto è eccellente ma il resto non è all’altezza !!

The clue is in the name - this restaurant is all about beef. The best cuts. I didn't realise there was so much difference between the types of beef and you can sample some very good ones there.

Their specialty is hot stone and is well worth trying. The kids even get their own, with a smaller portion of beef. The staff was very pleasant and attentive and we didn't feel like we had to free the table for other customers. Chips (fries) are to die for, cooked twice in beef fat (yum!). If beef is not your thing, they also have chicken, fish and duck to cook on the stone, but I would seriously recommend trying a few different types of beef at the table!

We were 11 with kids and we spend an excellent moment. Meat quality was outstanding , melting and juicy. You should not come to frejus without stopping there.

Abbiamo cenato in questo locale che si trova sul porto canale. Il posto è molto curato. Offre una qualità di carne non discutibile ma il prezzo pagato è un pochino eccessivo. Ha un'ampia carta dei vini e di liquori ma i costi anche per bottiglie normali sono troppo alti.

The clue is in the name, this is s beef restaurant of the highest quality. Excellent food, service & location. Reasonably priced if it was anywhere, but even more so as it is in the South of France. My favourite was the bone & toast, which is literally a bone cut down the middle exposing lovely marrow which you dip you toast in. Definitely going again 😁

Il locale è molto bello e la qualità dei piatti è ottima. I prezzi però non sono giustificabili secondo me. Solitamente anche io preferisco spendere un po' di più per avere maggiore qualità e so anche che in Francia si spende mediamente di più per mangiare rispetto all'Italia ma qui è troppo. Ho mangiato in molti altri ristoranti di pari qualità in località turistiche ma spendendo molto meno, in Italia, in Spagna e anche in Francia. E' molto difficile spendere meno di 30€ per ogni singolo piatto, anche il più semplice. Anche la carta dei vini è eccezionale, con ampia selezione di tanti tipi di bottiglie, ma anche in questo caso la maggiorazione dei prezzi è eccessiva. Abbiamo preso una bottiglia da 12€, prezzo di mercato, e l'abbiamo pagata 35€. I prezzi sono abbondantemente sopra alla media locale, quindi decisamente molto alti per noi Italiani. Tre normalissime entrecote da 250g, una buona tartare, una bottiglia di normale rosso di Luberon, niente acqua e un caffè, 150€.

In mezzo a tanti ristoranti di pessima qualità finalmente un posto in cui il rapporto qualità prezzo ha un senso. Carne ottima, cantina dei vini e degli amari molto fornita, anche per quanto riguarda i dolci c’è molta scelta e molta cura. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Meine Frau und ich waren heute spontan im Le Boeuf sur le Quai und wir sind begeistert. Als erstes ist der sehr freundliche Empfang aufgefallen. Sofort konnten wir unseren Tisch wählen. Das Personal spricht Englisch und nimmt sich viel Zeit für Erklärungen. Das Restaurant ist spezialisiert für Fleisch erster Qualität auf dem heissen Stein. Das Fleisch war ein wahrer Genuss und ich kann es nur empfehlen. Mal wird leicht berieselt durch Hintergrund Lounge Sound und dies mitten im Hafen von Frėjus.

Supongo que será cuestión de gustos pero a mi la carne no me agradó. Parecía de calidad pero aunque la pedí al punto estaba seca y tiesa. Un buen corte pero estaba pasada. La ensalada correcta y lo mejor el vino. El personal atento, pero teniendo en cuenta el precio no lo recomendaría.

Gutes Steak und Gebratene st jakobmuscheln. Wein sehr gut. Service freundlich. Ein wenig zu teuer für mittlere Qualität.
