The flat is located directly on the hiking trail and is a perfect starting point for hikes from spring to autumn. Elsigen-Metsch ski centre (1300 to 2300 m above sea level) and Adelboden/Frutigen-Lenk ski region Frutigen's ski area, the Elsigen-Metsch ski centre (1300 to 2300 m above sea level) can be reached by ski bus or by car. Elsigenalp is served by a modern aerial cableway. The entire ski area has seven large and two small ski lifts with a capacity of 7,000 people per hour.
