Our cosy and comfortably furnished non-smoking holiday flat in Korbach-Goldhausen offers plenty of space for your family holiday for 1 to 5 people. The holiday flat with 90m² of living space is located on the top floor and has two bedrooms with double beds and a children's room with a single bed. From the living room, the balcony, the single bedroom and the kitchen you can enjoy the panoramic view of the Sauerland, which is sure to inspire you for your next hiking or excursion tour. A car park is available for your car. Further parking spaces are located 20 metres away. You can have breakfast in the morning sun on the balcony belonging to the holiday flat and enjoy the fantastic view in the evening with a glass of wine until the sun sets over the Sauerland. The living and dining area. Our holiday flat has a bright, cosy living room with a comfortable corner sofa and direct access to the large balcony. A TV set, DVD player and a CD/radio music system are available to help you relax at the end of the day. A small reading corner invites you to browse. The spacious kitchen has a corner bench with table and two chairs, a fridge with separate freezer, a dishwasher, a ceramic hob with oven, a microwave with grill function, a coffee machine, kettle, egg boiler and a toaster. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery for 5 people. A radio provides entertainment. The sleeping area of our flat has 2 bedrooms with a double bed and a single room, each of which can be reached separately from the hallway. In one bedroom with a double bed there is a small TV with an integrated DVD player. In the second double bedroom you have the opportunity to watch the stars from your bed on a clear day, and if you are lucky you may even spot a shooting star. The single bedroom offers enough space for the little ones to play. A travel cot can be added if required. All bedrooms have spacious wardrobes. There is a clock radio in each of the two large bedrooms. The bathroom has a shower, WC and bathtub, perfect for relaxing. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available and can be used for a fee. But that's not all: there are many interesting things to do in and around our village that will not let you get bored. You stay in our holiday flat directly on Germany's largest gold deposit. Many tunnels and shafts lead deep into the layers of rock that still contain gold today. Visit our nearby colliery, which offers regular guided tours of the gold mine from April to October. There you will learn a lot about the gold in the mountain and the history of Goldhaus. If you don't fancy going "underground", you can find out more on the "Eisenberg Gold Trail". The signposted tour leads around the Eisenberg and provides information about geological and historical facts. The hike also takes you past the Georg Viktor Tower and the castle excavations. A must for every Goldhausen holidaymaker. From the tower, visitors can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view from the Eisenberg over the town of Korbach to the Sauerland. After this short hike, you can settle down in the cosy Eisenberghütte, let the children run around in the playground and round off the day in comfort. By the way - everything is just a few steps away from our house. You can see the playground from our house. Other sports and leisure activities: Our Hanseatic town of Korbach has a beautiful pedestrianised zone with many shopping opportunities. A walk through the old town centre is highly recommended. Furthermore, you should not miss a visit to the Korbacher Spalte, the Korbach Museum.
