Holiday home Toddy - A time-out for body and soul The individually furnished holiday home Toddy with approx. 103 m² is located in Glowe on the sunny island of Rügen in the quiet and sheltered part of the village. Glowe is located directly at the entrance to the Schaabe, the approx. 10 km long sandy beach with its pine forests, which many say is the most beautiful beach on Rügen. At approx. 650 m, Toddy is only a short distance from the beach and harbour, and the distance to the large Jasmund Bodden is approx. 500 m. Toddy is orientated so that you can perfectly enjoy both the south and west-facing sun on the two terraces.A cosy wood-burning stove and the tasteful furnishings of the light-flooded living area with open-plan kitchen and dining area on the ground floor will give you a warm welcome. The high-quality furnishings naturally also include a stereo system, LCD TV, DVD player and free Internet access via WLAN. Books and games for young and old will keep you entertained even when the weather is not so nice. On the ground floor there is also a shower room with adjoining sauna and a washing machine in the utility room. The upper floor has three bedrooms with a total of six beds for adults and an additional extra bed for a small child (travel cot, high chair available). One large bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180x200), a small music system and a second TV. Another bedroom has a double bed (160x200) and a small music system. The third bedroom has two single beds (90x200). A travel cot is available. All bedrooms are equipped with mosquito screens in front of the windows. The area is complemented by a spacious bathroom with bathtub, double washbasin and plenty of storage space.

All living areas on the ground and upper floors can be darkened with electric shutters.

In addition to two private parking spaces for your cars on the property, there is also a garden shed with a canopy for storing your bicycles, sports equipment or fishing gear next to the house. Garden chairs, two loungers and a garden barbecue allow you to spend relaxing hours in the garden. 2 baker's bicycles are available so that you can quickly pick up fresh bread rolls. The holiday home is a non-smoking house and therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers. So that you and your children feel right at home in Glowe, you will find great playgrounds for climbing and romping around in the immediate vicinity of the beach, which is only an 8-minute walk away. The long sandy beach is also a wonderful place to play, romp and swim. We look forward to your visit!The Toddy holiday home has a south and west-facing terrace. The seaside resort of Glowe is picturesquely situated on the long, fine sandy Baltic Sea beach of Tromper Wiek Bay. The seaside resort is an up-and-coming holiday destination. The beautiful beach promenade with Kurplatz invites you to take a stroll. Glowe's landmark, the "Ostseeperle", built in 1968, is located directly on the promenade. Today, the striking glass building, which is a protected monument, houses a modern restaurant with a lakeside terrace and a magnificent view of the water. The new marina with restaurant, boat hire, fishing trips and boat excursions to Hiddensee is located on the Königshörn cliff. Organised or independent sailing trips in all directions round off the offer. The small Cape Königshörn with its observation tower offers a marvellous panoramic view over the Tromper Wiek to the famous Cape Arkona. Glowe is the ideal location for bicycle tours. Whether short or long - everyone gets their money's worth here. Short tours lead to Spykersche See or to the Bodden coast of Glowe, longer tours lead to Cape Arkona or along the Jasmund Bodden to Lietzow. Bicycle hire is available directly at the Ostseepark and can be reached on foot from the holiday home in 2 minutes.

Glowe offers ideal conditions for sport fishing. With the right equipment and a bit of experience, you can catch cod or sea trout, for example, while sea or surf fishing. Fishing licences are available from the harbour master or at petrol stations. 12 km away in the village of Lohme, a beautiful 18-hole golf course with a view of the Baltic Sea has been created at Ranzow Castle, which is ideal for all golfers.

The 10 km long "Schaabe", Rügen's largest spit, begins on the western edge of Glowe. It connects the Wittow peninsula with Jasmund and separates the large Jasmund Bodden from the sea. The white sandy beach of the Schaabe appears endless and is bordered by dunes and pine forests. It offers great surfing areas and sections of naturist culture.

The 30 square kilometre Jasmund National Park, which is about 12 km from Glowe, is famous for its magnificent beech forests and the unmistakable beauty of the world-famous white chalk cliffs. The so-called Wissower Klinken and the Königsstuhl, the landmark of Rügen, are also located here.
