Spacious cabin on the banks of the Utosjoki River – peace, space, and practical comfort even for larger groups.

Welcome to a relaxing holiday by the peaceful Utosjoki River. This 85 m² cabin is located at the end of a quiet road, right by the water, about 77 km from Oulu and 18 km from the center of Utajärvi. Here, you’ll find true tranquility.

The ground floor features a large living room and open-plan kitchen with a heat-storing fireplace, one bedroom with two 80 cm beds, a separate WC, a washroom, and an electric sauna.
On the upper floor, there’s sleeping space for six: a 160 cm wide double bed, two 80 cm beds, and a 140 cm wide sofa bed. The sofa in the living room does not open, but there are still more than enough beds. Both the spacious terrace and the upper-floor balcony receive plenty of sunlight.

The soft-bottomed beach of the Utosjoki River is about 30 meters from the cabin and deepens quickly, so children should be supervised closely while at the water. The cabin was built in 2000, and the washroom was renovated in 2017.

The outbuilding includes a storage area available for guest use — it’s suitable for firewood and sports gear.

If you're looking for spacious, easy-access accommodation in a quiet setting, this cabin is a perfect match. Welcome to unwind and enjoy. Please bring your own charcoal if you wish to use the kettle grill. Use caution on the access road during spring thaw conditions.

The surrounding area features an extensive network of forest roads for jogging and mountain biking, with berry and mushroom picking spots nearby. The closest state-owned hunting areas are located in Utajärvi, Muhos, Vaala, and Puolanka. The Utosjoki River is stocked with rainbow trout in summer, and fishing permits can be purchased from the owner.

Valkeinen Recreation Area is about 8 km away and includes a beach, trampoline, and swings for children, a campfire site with a lean-to, and on certain summer days, a kiosk that sells fishing permits (for rainbow trout and whitefish) and rents SUP boards and rowing boats.

The 18-hole Frisbee golf course near central Utajärvi (Siiransaari Island area) is 18 km away. The UntoRock festival is held in June at the Utajärvi ice hall, about 18.5 km away.

Oulujokilaakso Golf in Muhos is 42 km away.

Rokua National Park is about 43 km away, offering opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and exploring the Rokua UNESCO Global Geopark. In good mushroom years, the area also offers excellent porcini spots.

The Hepoköngäs Waterfall in Puolanka is about 75 km away.
