I had a wonderful Thai massage at Angsana Spa with therapist JA. Great massage technique and helped me relieved my muscles stiffness that other massage therapists couldn’t do. Highly recommend JA. Also wanna thank the Spa reception lady Baiteuy she is so friendly and pleasant personality and takes good care of my requirements. Thanks so much to this nice spa experience. Really enjoyed it.

Been to Market Place for breakfast and really enjoyed it. There were lots of options to choose from. The ambience is nice and the staff are very well accommodating especially June! She’s very friendly with the guests. Will be back again soon.

Deuxième séjour à l'Angsana Phuket et avons été toujours aussi bien accueillis ! L'hôtel est vieillissant certes mais tellement bien entretenu et propre. Le personnel est très attentionné avec au Market place : June, Bew et Nan qui sont toujours souriantes et prêtes à rendre service... En vrai, toute l'équipe est dynamique et très aimable.
Le petit déjeuner est extraordinaire avec beaucoup de choix et des produits très frais.
Il y en a pour tous les goûts.

Notre demande de faire le ménage avant midi à bien été prise en compte et Wi qui s'est occupée de notre chambre a été super ! Très gentille et respectueuse de nos affaires.
La communication par WhatsApp avec l'hôtel est un vrai plus.
Nous avons juste mangé une fois au restaurant de la piscine (très correct) car le soir nous préférerions aller à pied jusqu'à Boat Avenue qui est l'endroit branché le plus proche avec beaucoup de restaurants et de boutiques. Une navette vous y conduit et vous ramène.
Il n'y que 30 minutes de marche si vous préférez.
Le samedi il y a le grand marché et le samedi un plus petit à canal village.

L'hôtel nous a offert 1 dîner au restaurant Bodega, c'était vraiment très gentil et très bon.

Le seul bémol encore une fois c'est qu'à la piscine silencieuse, les gens viennent avec leurs enfants et il faut à chaque fois se battre pour qu'ils comprennent que c'est une zone tranquille. Il y a pourtant des panneaux partout indiquant en anglais, en russe et en chinois qu'il ne faut pas faire de bruit !!! Et les gens ne comprennent pas que les enfants bah ça fait du bruit ! Il serait souhaitable faire de cette zone une vraie zone "adults only" surtout qu'il existe une grande partie de la piscine dédiée aux enfants avec des toboggans...
Pourquoi les gens ne comprennent rien ???
Pourquoi faut-il toujours se battre pour des évidences ???
Dommage que les gens ne respectent rien...
Malgré cela, je recommande vivement cet hôtel.
Je complète mon avis car aujourd'hui nous avons été au SPA pour un massage, quel bonheur ! C'est JA qui s'est occupée de nous. Nous avons choisi le massage "Angsana" c'était extraordinaire. La prestation vaut vraiment la peine. C'est un vrai massage professionnel qui fait beaucoup de bien. On vous demande quel degré d'intensité vous souhaitez, sur quelles zones accentuer le massage et quelles autres à éviter pour que ce soit le plus ciblé et agréable.
Bravo vraiment à tous dans cet hôtel... Ah oui je n'oublie pas ING qui lui aussi a été super à l'accueil !

Das Hotel Allgemein: Wir waren nach 2013 und 2014 im März 2024 das dritte Mal Gäste im Angsana Laguna. Das Hotel ist nach 10 Jahren nach wie vor meiner Meinung nach immer noch schön, allerdings halt auch lange nicht mehr nagelneu und man sieht, dass kleinere Instandhaltungsarbeiten nötig sind aber auch Instandhaltungsarbeiten durchgeführt wurden und wohl auch immer regelmässig durchgeführt werden. Wer dieses Hotel bucht und ein fehlerloses nagelneues 5 Sterne Hotel erwartet, wird hier nicht ganz glücklich werden, aber man kann sich trotzdem wohl fühlen. Rund um das Hotel hat sich im „Laguna“ in den letzten Jahren viel verändert. Es wurde sehr viel gebaut. Außerdem hat sich die Gästestruktur sehr verändert. Vor 10 Jahren wurde das Hotel noch überwiegend von asiatischen Gästen (Chinesen, Japaner, Inder) gebucht, welche auch dort geheiratet und gefeiert hatten. Nun kommen die meisten Gäste aus Russland, vereinzelt hört man britisches englisch oder amerikanisches englisch. Asiaten waren sehr wenige da, ob außer uns noch weitere Deutsche anwesend waren, weiß ich nicht. Man fühlt sich als deutscher Gast wie in Klein Russland. Gefühlt waren 80 % russische Gäste anwesend. Der „ich fühle mich wie in Thailand“ Faktor liegt im Angsana bei maximal 30 Prozent, auf Phuket gibt es viele andere Hotels, welche mehr thailändischen Charme versprühen.

Die Lage und Umgebung: Das Angsana liegt zusammen mit mehreren erstklassigen Hotels und Residenzen, wovon man viele untereinander mit einem kostenlosen Bootsshuttle oder Busshuttle erreichen kann, in einer idyllisch großen Lagunenlandschaft. Zum Hotel fährt man ab Flughafen ca. 20 Minuten, je nach Verkehr. Mit dem kostenlosen Bootsshuttle erreicht man das Canal Village mit mehreren Restaurants und Cafes,(es gibt auch ein deutsches Cafe Glück im Canal Village, in welchem der deutsche Auswanderer Matthias Bück von Goodbye Deutschland arbeitet) sowie Supermarkt und Weinläden. Mit dem kostenlosen Busshuttle kann man sich bis zum Eingang der Lagune fahren lassen und ab dort zu Fuss zu den dort befindlichen Restaurants oder Geschäften laufen. Direkt am langen Bang Tao Beach gibt es ein paar thailändische Imbissbuden und Massagen am Strand. Sportler / Jogger, welche gut mit der Hitze zurecht kommen, werden sich über die schönen Wege freuen. Ansonsten gleicht Laguna mittlerweile einer Beton Wüste, das hat in meinen Augen nichts mehr mit thailändischem Inselfeeling zu tun. Wenn man durch Laguna spaziert oder fährt, könnte man auch in z.B. irgendwo in Amerika sein.

Die Zimmer: Wir bekamen ein kostenloses Upgrade auf ein Premier Zimmer 2364 mit Lagunen Blick. Dies war etwas größer als unser eigentlich gebuchtes Standard Laguna Zimmer, mit einer riesigen Eckcouch, großem Balkon, bequemem und nicht hartem Bett, toller Bettwäsche, gut funktionierendem WLAN, USB Wandanschlüssen, Badezimmer mit Duschwanne, an welche ich mich nach 10 Jahren noch gut erinnern kann, da die Trennwand aus Glas immer noch viel zu kurz ist und man vorsichtig duschen muss, um nicht das ganze Bad unter Wasser zu setzen. Die Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert.Jedoch gibt es leisere. Es gab eine Illy Espressomaschine und einen Wasserkocher und immer ausreichend Wasser. Das Zimmer hat uns gefallen.

Gastronomie: Wir haben mit Frühstück gebucht. Im Market Place kann man indoor sowie outdoor mit Blick auf oder an der Lagune sitzen und frühstücken. Das Frühstück ist okay, leider aber auch nicht mehr. Wir reisen sehr viel in Asien, überwiegend in 5 Sterne Häuser und das angebotene Frühstück erfüllt für die Hotelkategorie lediglich seinen Zweck, etwas nahrhaftes am Morgen zu sich zu nehmen und einen Kaffee trinken zu können. Dahingehend hat sich also leider nichts in den letzten 10 Jahren getan. Ziegenkäse, Gorgonzola, Philadelphia, Nutella, ein guter Schinken, Ei Benedikt, etc waren leider nicht im Angebot und der angebotene Orangensaft war leider auch nichts tolles. Die Swim up Poolbar ist nur so lala, die bestellten Klassiker Cocktails, welche weltweit überall gleich schmecken sollten, waren leider enttäuschend. Gerade, da die meisten Gäste aus Russland kommen, hätten wir in unseren bestellten Long Island Iced Teas eigentlich Alkohol erwartet (also in der Menge, dass man ihn auch schmeckt, so wie das normalerweise üblich ist!!!) , diese waren sehr lächerlich gemixt und im Glas war mehr Eis als Cocktail. An einem Abend sind wir zur Loy Krathong Bar (Hotelbar) und dort war der Long Island Iced Tea und auch der Singapore Sling deutlich besser, nahe am Original, wenn auch hier mit recht viel Eis. Es gibt am Strand einen Beach Club mit dem Namen Xana, welchen wir nicht genutzt haben, da wir lieber am Pool liegen. Das Poolside Restaurant haben wir einmal besucht, für Pasta und Pizza und war in Ordnung. Leider gibt es dort kein lokales Wasser (wie auf dem Zimmer), sondern nur importiertes. Die weiteren Restaurants haben wir nicht besucht, sondern waren außerhalb des Hotels essen.

Sport und Unterhaltung: Der Pool ist immer noch super, er ist sehr lange und schlängelt sich durch die komplette Anlage. Am Schluss endet dieser in einer Ruhezone. Dazwischen gibt es verschiedenes an Entertainment wie zb einen Whirlpool, eine aufblasbare Rutsche, die Swim up Bar und am Anfang einen Strand im Pool. Sehr schön war, dass im Gym die neueste Version der Technogym Cardiogeräte zu finden war, der Ferrari unter den Laufbändern. Etwas nervig am Abend war, dass das Gym wohl mit Bewegungsmeldern ausgestattet ist und wenn man nur auf dem Laufband steht, das Licht regelmässig aus ging. Außerhalb kann man tolle Spaziergänge unternehmen, im Canal Village bummeln, mit dem kostenlosen Bootsshuttle auf dem See umherfahren, sich im Stand up paddeln üben, das Angebot ist in Ordnung. Ein No-go sind die teilweise löchrigen abgenutzten Pool Handtücher, wovon viele schon lange in die Mülltonne gehören.

Service: Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns natürlich auch sehr als wiederkehrende Gäste über das kostenlose Upgrade gefreut. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Das Housekeeping kam immer erst gegen späten Nachmittag, nachdem es fertig war, in irgendwelchen Ecken unbeobachtet an ihren Handys zu spielen oder Videos zu schauen. Generell war überall das Personal sehr freundlich, es hat die Gäste überall freundlich gegrüsst. Man fühlte sich willkommen.

Ho soggiornato 2 notti. Stanza ampia che affacciava sulla piscina quindi di notte tranquilla. Balcone grande. Bagno comodo e con tutto il necessario. Pulitissimo! Provata la spa e devo dire che ne vale la pena. Ho chiesto loro di organizzare il transfer per l’aeroporto e in 2 abbiamo speso 950 THB. Provato anche il ristorante italiano, il bar piscina per il pranzo e il ristorante BBQ, tutti con cucina di qualità. Unica pecca: non ci hanno lasciato il late check out pur avendo ampia disponibilità di stanze. Infatti, da Booking era possibile effettuare una prenotazione per la notte. Non hanno camere di cortesia ma solo docce con spogliatoio vicino alla palestra, ma bisogna ricordarsi di chiedere gli asciugamani.

Nous sommes venus là en 1996 pour la première fois, alors que l’hôtel faisait partie d’une chaîne américaine. C’était notre premier voyage en Thaïlande et nous avons eu un vrai coup de cœur pour ce pays, probablement aussi grâce à ce Resort…
Nous y avons retrouvé ce que nous avions tant aimé…
L’accueil est cordial et on nous a attribué notre chambre presque immédiatement, alors qu’il était tôt le matin, ce qui est important lorsque vous avez fait 11 heures d’avion pour arriver là. La chambre est vaste et très bien équipée. La literie est vraiment très confortable et propre.
Il y a un bon choix de restaurants et on mange bien partout. Toutefois, il n’y a pas énormément de choix au niveau des poissons et fruits de mer (juste du saumon et du fish & chips…). Le personnel est globalement très sympathique et toujours prêt à aider. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est « gargantuesque » et offre tout ce qu’on peut imaginer.
Mais le « Must » c’est l’immense piscine avec ses diverses animations pour les enfants, le pool bar, les jacuzzis, les petites chutes, bref, vraiment un lieu particulier que nous avions déjà apprécié lors de notre première visite. Il y a également un endroit prévu pour le calme et la détente « Quiet Place » et c’est très appréciable. Et de plus, l’eau est très agréable car elle n’est pas froide.
La plage est également magnifique et les transats sont vraiment très confortables et il y en a suffisamment pour tout le monde, ce qui est aussi appréciable.
Je dirais qu’une des seules choses qui est un peu gênante, c’est la fiabilité du Wifi hors de la chambre ! Mais, c’est les vacances alors… on peut se passer de portable !
En résumé, nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cet hôtel et j’aimerais volontiers y retourner…

Très bel hôtel, chambre sur la lagune très confortable, salle de bain mérité une rénovation, la baignoire à l'extérieur n'as aucun intérêt, juste d'apporter de la chaleur à la chambre. La plage est magnifique avec des bains de soleil très confortables, j'ai enlevé 1 étoiles à cause de la restauration qualité et service tres moyenne....nous avons pris la 1/2 pension .. . Peu de choix , les boissons sont facturés hors de prix pour le pays ainsi que l'eau minérale, Plus chère que dans les restaurants de France . Pleins de restaurants sur la plage de très bonnes qualités avec des prix corrects .

Sehr schöner Spa Bereich. Wir sind Laguna Member und kommen hier regelmäßig zur Massage. Khun Siri und das ganze Spa Team sind sehr zuvorkommend. Sehr guter Service und sehr sauber. Ich kann die Fusion Massage sehr empfehlen. Auch der Xana Beach Club hat sich nach der Renovierung sehr verbessert.

Abbiamo trascorso 4 giorni da favola in questo magnifico resort, soggiornando in una camera Laguna.Tenendo presente che è la tipologia di camera meno costosa, devo dire che era fantastica e pienamente soddisfacente.Consiglio di chiedere una camera vicino al Market Place, dove si fa colazione, così si è anche vicini alla spiaggia.
Tutto è molto ben curato, i ristoranti e le attività sono molto cari per essere in Thailandia, ma il lusso si paga....comunque sia a destra sia a sinistra della spiaggia si trovano posticino dove pranzare o cenare molto meno costosi.
Fare colazione sulla pagina è stato molto bello, il cibo era ottimo ed ovviamente poco "italiano", non si può pretendere in Asia cappuccio e brioche!!!
Anche i lettini sulla spiaggia erano comodi, piuttosto nuovi, così come gli asciugamani forniti.Molte belle cose si possono comprare nel negozio accanto alla Spa, con prezzi decisamente alti, ma la qualità si paga!!!!
In definitiva, consigliatissimo!!!
