The Tigress Ranthambore

This place is truely amazing. We visited in July 2024 and were treated like royalty. The staff and services given were phenomenal. Would definitely visit again if only for a few days of rest, relaxation and glorious good.

We spent 5 days at the Jungle retreat.
On the plus points, definitely food and service from the kitchen staff is absolutely outstanding. The food is so delicious that you want yo taste it all. Portions are really large. +3kg in 5 days.... The hotel itself is noce, quiet and cosy.
On the improvement point, the location is quite far from the city, the room are ok but cleanliness requires much improvement. The service around safari booking is also not the best. We had booked months in advance our safari with a "no change policy". However we were forced into going to zones we had already visited or were not willing to visit... Not sure if accountability on that is withe travel agency or the hotel but surely not the kind of problems I was planning to deal with on a holiday

We were in room C15 (photos) originally but found that it had no hot water so we moved to C16 next door which was a similar layout.

The room was large and spacious, the put up bed mattress was initially a hard one but they switched it for a nice soft comfortable one and we all had a great 2 nights sleep here.

The shower room was also large, the water heater once switched on provided instant hot water, the air con was great while on but the room does heat up within a couple of minutes if you turn it off. We found clothes dried in the shower room rapidly overnight which is great.

The grounds were nicely maintained with a greenery area for children/adults to play games as well as a lovely refreshing pool with pool towels provided. A communal balcony seating area on floor 2 was also a nice space to relax in the evening.

Breakfast on return from the morning safari, Iunch in between and dinner in the evening were all included for us ..we had both buffet and ala'carte once the guest numbers were reduced. The food was fantastic they put on a wonderful spread of dishes, we ate far too much! Saturday evening had many guests so they put on the dinner outside with entertainment which was a nice surprise too.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout but had limited English. The only disappointment for us was being split up in different canters and zones for our morning safari but we are not certain whether the hotel booked this as we have a tour package- just be sure to double check.

We would definitely recommend.

Haben während unserer Rundreise 2 Tage in diesem Resort verbracht. Das Hotel liegt sehr abseits der Straßen, über einen holprigen Weg zu erreichen und daher sehr ruhig. Wir hatten während unserer Rundreise ein Zimmer in vorderen Bungalow und nicht in den Häusern. Die Zimmer waren zweckmäßig und soweit in Ordnung. Das Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen waren absolute Spitze!

Wir waren in diesem Hotel für 2 Nächte.
Das Zimmer und Bad war schlicht eingerichtet aber sehr sauber. Es gibt einen sehr schönen und gut gepflegten Garten mit Pool.
Besonders hervor zu heben ist das Essen, das Buffet schmeckte sowohl morgens als auch abends großartig! Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr gut.
Man hat sich hier sehr wohl gefühlt und konnte sehr gut entspannen!
