The flat is just a few minutes' walk from a bus and taxi stop, which offers you easy and convenient access to the other beautiful beaches of Gran Canaria (Puerto Rico, Amadores, Mogán, etc.) or to the capital Las Palmas in the north of the island. If you prefer to use a hire car during your stay, we can provide you with a private parking space just a few metres from the flat.

The comfortable flat with two separate bedrooms is fully furnished and lovingly decorated down to the smallest detail. THE CANARY ISLANDS: The Canary Islands (Spanish: Islas Canarias) are a group of islands in the eastern central Atlantic Ocean, about 100 to 500 kilometres west of southern Morocco. They are located in the Atlantic Ocean in a geographical region known as Macaronesia. This also includes Cape Verde, the Azores, the Madeira archipelago and the Ilhas Selvagens. Between around 27° 38' and 29° 30' north latitude and 13° 22' and 18° 11' west longitude, the Canary Islands are located between 1,028 and 1,483 kilometres from mainland Spain (Cape Trafalgar), at the same latitude as the Sahara, Kuwait and Florida, for example. In contrast to the Spanish mainland, Western European time applies. The Mediterranean-subtropical climate of the Canary Islands is pleasant all year round due to its proximity to the Tropic of Cancer between 27 and 29 degrees latitude, which has earned the archipelago the nickname of the islands of eternal spring. The consistently cool Canary Current, part of the Gulf Stream, equalises the temperatures and the trade winds usually keep the hot air masses from the nearby Sahara away. GRAN CANARIA: With an area of 1,560.1 km², Gran Canaria is the third largest of the Canary Islands after Tenerife and Fuerteventura. In terms of population, Gran Canaria is the second largest island in the Canary Islands after Tenerife. The capital is Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In 2008, the island had 829,597 inhabitants. It lies 210 kilometres to the west off the coast of southern Morocco in the Atlantic Ocean, between its larger neighbouring islands of Tenerife to the west and Fuerteventura to the east. Like all the islands in the archipelago, it is of volcanic origin. The highest point in the centre of the island is the 1949-metre-high, extinct volcano "Pico de las Nieves". Gran Canaria's landmark is the 1813 metre high "Roque Nublo". Due to its climatic and geographical diversity as well as its varied flora and fauna, Gran Canaria is also described as a "miniature continent". The island has 14 microclimate zones. Many dry valleys, known as "barrancos", lead from the mountainous interior of the island to the coast. During the rare rainfalls, which can be quite abundant, the "barrancos" fill up to form torrents. In the inhabited areas, the stream valleys have therefore been widened and fortified. PLAYA DEL INGLÉS, MASPALOMAS and SAN AGUSTÍN: Playa del Inglés is a district of the municipality of "San Bartolomé de Tirajana" on the south coast of Gran Canaria. The main economic sector is tourism. Together with San Agustín and Maspalomas, which also belong to the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Playa del Inglés forms the largest tourist centre in Spain. Due to their long, wide sandy beach with extensive dunes, the districts are better known than the municipality, whose historic town centre lies 23 kilometres to the north in the interior of the island. Nevertheless, "San Agustín" still stands out positively from comparable Spanish mass tourism destinations such as Benidorm or Torremolinos due to a significantly lower building density and a lower building height, even of the tallest buildings, compared to the aforementioned places. To the south of Playa del Inglés is the Maspalomas dune area, which stretches as far as the wetlands of the El Charco lagoon.
