Un grande conferma, un pilastro della ristorazione di Alghero
Conosciamo il Pavone (e il titolare) da sempre. Ci andavamo per festeggiare eventi familiari. Ci ritorno dopo più di 6 anni e per lavoro con colleghi esigenti. Posso dire che sono rimasti tutti davvero sbalorditi! Una cucina autentica, Alghere vera! Fatta con passione e rispetto per il cliente. L'agliata domina sugli antipasti insieme al pesce azzurro e i peperoni ripieni. Pasta fagioli e cozze? Un must. Secondi di pesce originali e classici fatti con cura e ingredienti selezionati come la rana pescatrice alla catalana, dentice con un battuto di melanzane. Domenico, i titolare, è presente in sala con garbo e attenzione, vi farà assaggiare un piccolo fuori menù a sorpresa, non fatevelo scappare! Un grande conferma, un pilastro della ristorazione di Alghero. Complimenti!

Locale con bel dehors su una bella piazza, contanti tavoli all’aperto. Cucina classica con pochi svolazzi. Personale molto gentile. Si paga quello che c’è da pagare.

Nichts besonderes
Es ist leider nicht Michelin würdig. Es wurde ohne liebe gekocht, ein wenig Kräuter in der Tomaten Sauce , die gleiche Sauce zur vorschneide und im Hauptgang . Der Service war sehr gut.

Un très bon restaurant typique
Emplacement parfait ( calme et vue). Service impeccable et accueil chaleureux du patron. Les spaghettis à la Vong olé étaient parfaits, accompagnés d’un excellent vermentino. Nous avons apprécié la nappe blanche !

Cena perfetta
Ottima qualità, cibo anche abbondante, personale molto professionale e prezzo nella media.
Lo consiglierei per una serata anche formale, ma tra amici siamo stati benissimo.

Ho dato 5 ma il voto corretto è 4,5.
Parto subito dicendo che sono molto soddisfatto della cena ma un pochino meno del conto avendo bevuto, in due, solo un'acqua, una birra e un calice di vermentino.
La qualità del cibo ottima, deliziosa la tartare di tonno.
Servizio preciso e discreto.
Location molto bella, all'inizio della passeggiata sulle mura.
Certamente ritornerò.

Pefection in simplicity!
For me, it was perfect. I was in the mood for a simple yet well-prepared meal in a restaurant with a classic ambiance, and Il Pavone exceeded my expectations. I ordered Insalatona "Valentina," Pasta fagioli e cozze and a glass of white wine. The flavors of the perfectly dressed salad and the pasta fagioli were just right, the bread came out fresh and warm and the glass of wine, a Vermentino, no doubt, I did not ask, came out perfectly chilled and tasty. Simple yet delicious! And the spicy goat cheese offering at the end of the meal was a nice touch and also quite tasty! Highly recommended.

Delicious dining
We have been to Alghero many times and still hadn't tried this place. Now we know what we've been missing we will definitely be back. The menu is small but varied. We tried the tuna carpaccio and the mackerel for starters. Both were delicious, but beware, the tuna was quite a generous portion! Next, I had the maccheroni, which was sooo tasty. The fried aubergines in it were the best I'd ever tasted. I then went for the calamari with lightly battered courgette and aubergine, my wife had the sautéed catch of the day (grouper) . Both dishes again were delicious, but once again the calamari was a very generous portion so beware! We finished off with the chocolate ice cream and the sorbet. I've never had chocolate ice cream this good, and the sorbet was very refreshing, light and zingy. I thoroughly recommend Il Pavone if you're looking for something a bit special whilst in Alghero.

very unhappy
beautiful restaurant. fabulous appetizer. once it got busy, the wait for the next course was WAY too long. ordered calamari with vegetables; only got calamari. checked the menu once it reappeared so that we could choose dessert, and asked why i didn’t get my full meal as listed on the menu. waiter said something like “oh, we don’t serve the vegetables anymore”, without apologies. he offered to bring them then, but the meal was over, and it would have been another long wait. no offer to reduce my bill. i would not have ordered the calamari without the veggies. i felt cheated and very dissatisfied. and this is a “michelin” restaurant. my husband’s dinner portion was very small, too. i recommend that you go elsewhere for dinner.

The best in Sardinia
We visit Alghero in the morning and at lunch time we followed reviews recommendations and got a table at Il Pavone. As soon as we arrived Chef Domenico showed up with home made bread and cheese and answered all the questions related to the menu. We chose 2 appetisers that were delicious, octopus salad with zucchini and yellow pepper filled with pecorino cheese and anchovies. For the main dish, we ordered fresh fish that came on a mashed eggplant (like Babaganush) and mash potatoes cooked to perfection.
By far one of the best restaurants in Sardegna.

Nettes kleines Restaurant mit sehr gutem Service. Der freundliche Inhaber leitet selbst den Service und ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist gut und man sitzt sehr angenehm.

lovely seafood spot popular with locals and tourists
This restaurant has been here for a long while and I can see why. It is the real deal, authentic food, service and wine. The staff was attentive with just the right formality. The owner, whose recipes the kitchen uses, has his own special whipped ricotta recipe which he will have you taste but refuses to sell. There is a lot of art in the restaurant but the real scene is people watching from the terrace or one of the tables just inside.

Our meal was excellent as was the wine. Ordered Bottarga (dried eggs of grey mullet) a local delicacy with a purée of aubergines and flakes of Pecorino cheese. Fabulous. My husband ordered the mackerel with dried figs, sun-dried tomatoes, toasted hazelnuts and goat milk yogurt. It was a revelation. I got the fish of the day which was excellent and my husband had the spaghetti con vongole, all very tasty. Ambat wine was delicious. Very professional. Would definitely return.

Parfait sur tous les points
Tres bon restaurant, bien situé, personnel très sympa, c’est une trattoria à l’ancienne avec le sérieux qui va avec. Les plats de poisson sont très bon, en fait tout est très bon. Si vous voulez la terrasse il faut réserver avant

Lecker und sehr schade
Das Essen und der Platz sind eigentlich wunderbar. Der Service ist fantastisch.
Leider haben wir nicht vertragen, dass in den Saucen der Nudeln mit Essenzen aus Innereien gearbeitet wurde. Das macht das Essen natürlich noch leckerer - jedoch kam es uns dadurch den Rest des Tages immer wieder hoch.
Sehr, sehr, sehr schade.

« On a de la place » lol
Pire restaurant de ma longue carrière de restauration. J’ai coupé ma viande avec ma pizza. Le hamburger vient sans pain, mais on m’a proposé du pain sur mon entrecôte. Même mon chien a refusé les croquettas. Bon courage

Platos mediocres y caros
La materia prima seguramente buena, pero el sabor de sus platos cuestionable por lo menos.
Entiendo que avalados por estar en la Guía Michelin se permiten elevar los precios un 30-40% por encima del resto sin razón aparente.
Aún así, el servicio fue amable y la atención buena.

Lugar muy recomendable.
Situado en la céntrica plaza Sulis, y con terraza exterior.
Comimos muy bien, excelente producto y bien elaborado.
A destacar que no cobran ni el cubierto, ni el % de Servicio, ni el pan.

conocimos este restaurante por la amistad que tenia el propietario con el propietario del apartamento que alquilamos en nuestro viaje a l'alguero, como es natural, no conocíamos nada, y el nos encamino allí. fue estupendo, un lugar agradable, un trato estupendo y una comida deliciosa, el mismo propietario nos escogió el menú y el vino y fue todo un acierto, el pescado estaba buenísimo y superfresco, disfrutamos como enanos. la relación calidad precio normal, quizá un pelín caro, pero es sitio es muy céntrico, al lado del mar, buena comida, mereció la pena de sobras.
