Aie, énorme faux pas

Aie aie aie, soirée gâchée par la réaction hallucinante de la cheffe de salle à une situation banale que n'importe quel professionnel aurait dû savoir gérer. Apres une bouchée avec du sable et la suivante avec un énorme caillou, je décide de prévenir le personnel et d'arrêter de manger un tacos, alors consommé à moitié. Pas de retour. Lorsque la serveuse nous demande si tout s'est bien passé, ma femme répond que non puisque j'ai dû laisser la moitié du plat. La cheffe de salle arrive et de manière agressive nous demande ce qu'on attend d'elle, "je l'ai signalé en cuisine, qu'est ce que vous voulez que je fasse de plus?". Sa réaction: "un geste? Vous plaisantez, je ne vais pas faire un geste sur un plat déjà mangé à moitié! Il fallait le dire avant!". Euh... comme s'il avait fallu deviner à l'avance qu'au milieu du tacos il y allait y avoir du sable et des cailloux!
Ton agressif dès le départ, et encore plus quand ma femme lui a dit qu'on allait mettre un mauvais avis: en général les restaurateurs se plaignent des clients qui ne disent rien et critiquent ensuite sur Tripadvisor, mais ici on se fait agresser quand on dit qu'on n'est pas satisfaits et encore plus quand on prévient ensuite que l'avis ne sera pas bon!

Encore une fois un caillou dans un plat ce n'est pas trés agréable, mais cela peut arriver. C'est la réaction du restaurant qui ne devrait pas arriver, il faut savoir gérer de manière classe, mais ce n'est visiblement pas à la portée de tous.

Très bon

Nous avons déjeuné en terrasse au soleil et c’était très chouette.
Nous avons adoré le plat de poulpes.
Le service était très bien.

Juste honteux de servir une telle charcuterie qui, selon moi, n’était pas fraîche!!!

J’ai commandé une Cochonaille à 19,00€. La charcuterie n’est pas fraîche (mauvais goût). Sur la carte, il était noté qu’il y avait du pâté, que je n’ai pas eu… Alors que 5 minutes après, j’ai vu qu’une dame qui avait commandé la même chose, en a eu. Je trouve cela honteux!
Je ne recommande vraiment pas!!!!

Don't order steak!

We asked for one steak to be' well done'and it was cremated! The second steak to be medium and it came 'well done' the fries were covered in oil. A very disappointing experience and not to be recommended.

Do not recommend

The vibe from the outside was very promising. I would not recommend due to the food and the waiting staff. The Rocket in my salad bowl with Burrata still had soil in it and I could not eat it; when I shared this with the waitress, she shrugged it off. The side vegetables ordered by my husband were over cooked and overpowered with curry. Not a pleasant experience considering the prices charged.

Good Service

Didnt try the food but it did look good, huge selection of beers, good location and great for chilling in the sun, good spot for people watching if thats your thing. Service and staff very friendly.

Lunch in the sun

Nice location. Friendly staff. I had the pork in BBQ sauce with frites and a my wife had the moules. I asked for a bottle of house white wine and it was quite nice. My pork was cold (not sure if this was intentional) and the frites were of the frozen variety. I wouldn’t have it again. When I paid the bill the house white was €29 euros which I thought a little steep.

Don’t think we’ll go back.

gemütlicher Abend

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und es wurde uns ein Tisch draussen oder drinnen angeboten. Wir entschlossen uns für drinnen, da es etwas windig war. Reserviert hatten wir nicht. Wir haben ein Fleisch mit Beilage bestellt und einen feinen Wein und später noch Dessert. Das gesamte Servicepersonal ist super freundlich! Danke. Gerne wieder

QUE PENA¡¡¡

Es una pena que un sitio tan bonito tenga detalles tan horribles. Pedimos una Plancha MEZZE con diversas productos, donde se incluyen "olives& tomates séchées". Pues nos dejaron la plancha sin ello pero no nos dicen nada, y cuando lo reclamo, al rato el camarero me dice que no hay. Yo entiendo que si la plancha no está completa deben o añadir otro producto o más cantidad de los otros, o bien hacer un descuento en el precio por el producto que falta. Pues nada de nada. Me siento decepcionado y por eso lo puntúo como PESIMO.

Excellent coffee, drinks and people watching but shame it was busy to eat.

We visited Le Cavok regularly during our stay, at morning for coffee and in the evening for pre-dinner drinks. On all occasions it was very pleasant with the staff very friendly and efficient. Sitting outside in the sun watching the traffic and people going by is always pleasurable. Unfortunately, on the night we wanted to eat it was full, we should have booked. The menu looked very good, so note to remember next year.

Mal servicio. Mesas sin limpiar. Pedimos la comida y tardaron media hora en servirnos el primer plato. El segundo plato vino, uno frío y el otro a destiempo cuando ya había terminado de cenar.

Capitati lì per caso

Siamo capitati lì per caso, abbiamo mangiato molto bene sia carne che pesce: tartara tagliata a mano ed hamburger, filetti di salmone affumicato con avogado e pomodorini, piatto di formaggi e caffè della Illy (per chi non lo conoscesse è un marchio triestino). Buonissima birra blanche e ottimo servizio, rapidi, gentili e sorridenti.
Prezzo assolutamente onesto

Preis-Leistung WOW

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Le Cavoc und wurden sehr nett und zuvorkommend auf der Terasse bedient. Ich bestellte die Tagliatelle mit Fisch Kreolischer Art. Mein Mann orderte die Fischplatte (gelistet unter den Vorspeisen für 23€) mit der Bitte statt der angegeben drei nach Möglichkeit sechs Austern auf den Teller zu bekommen - natürlich zu einem Aufpreis. Als der Teller serviert wurde, staunten wir nicht schlecht, denn die Menge an Meeresfrüchte war drei mal so groß wie erwartet. Wir befürchteten schon ein Missverständnis bei der Bestellung und somit einen dreifachen Preis für das Gericht. Doch unglaublicher Weise wurde uns auf der Rechnung statt 23€ lediglich 27€ berechnet. Wahnsinn für die Menge!

(kleiner Disclaimer: Wir waren zu dem Zeitpunkt so ziemlich die einzigen Gäste im Restaurant + Vorsaison. Vielleicht ein Zusammenhang mit der Fülle an Meeresfrüchten?)

Insgesamt schöne Location, moderne Einrichtung, netter Service und leckeres Essen.

Gute Küche und freundliche Bedienung

Sehr gut gekühlter leichter Rose mit exzellentem Geschmack, eine kalte Tomatensuppe aus frischen Tomaten, der Kabeljau saftig auf den Punkt gebraten und mit Currysauce verfeinert, Tarte au Citron oder Menhir oder andere schokoladigen Köstlichkeiten machen glücklich. Der Service gut und sehr freundlich auch wenn unser Französisch nicht das beste ist. Wir haben mehrfach gegessen und immer genossen.
