L'Ecosse authentique

Un grand grand merci à Pierre-Marie et Christiane pour leur accueil, la qualité de nos échanges après l'excellent petit déjeuner, les conseils pour visiter la région... On repart de shenval avec une seule idée en tête : revenir dès que possible. Ce fut une belle rencontre dans un endroit paisible.

Un très bon accueil attentionné

Je recommande vivement cet hébergement. Christiane et Pierre Marie sont adorables et serviables. Des échanges riches sur l’Écosse et la nature :)
Christiane vous donne une multitude de conseils pour découvrir l’Écosse.
Et le petit déjeuner est excellent et fait maison et bio.
Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Un pur bonheur

Très bien situé proche du Loch Ness Glen Affric ce B&B tenu par un couple de français depuis près de 40 ans en Ecosse est extraordinairement Écossais. Très bon accueil, excellente connaissance du pays et très judicieux dans leurs conseils. Grâce à eux nous avons découvert plusieurs sites remarquables peu fréquentés.
La chambre est confortable et le déjeuner Écossais inoubliable à base de produits maison bio ou locaux.
On reviendra, c'est sûr...

Voyage ecosse

Nous avons passés 2 nuits chez Christiane et Jean Marie. Un couple adorable et prévenant. Nous avons été accueilli comme des rois. La chambre est parfaite et les petits déjeuners aussi. Nous avons eu de très bon conseils de leur part. Nous recommandons grandement ce B&B. Nous ne les oublierons pas ! Fanny et Benjamin

Séjour exceptionnel à Sheval B&B

Commencons par une chambre douillette et calme avec vue sur le jardin, un petit-déjeuner bio délicieux (ce pain maison !) et préparé avec soin.

Rajoutons des conseils sur les randonnées du coin (très jolie balade autour du loch Affric) en plus d'une situation géographique parfaite.

Mais Shenval est surtout un B&B peu commun avec un accueil chaleureux et des hôtes amoureux et connaisseurs de leur pays d'adoption. Merci Pierre-Marie et Christiane pour cette discussion passionnante avec vous. Le séjour a pris une saveur particulière après ce trop rapide passage chez vous.

Wonderful wee place!

Stayed with Christiane and Pierre for a couple of nights whilst doing my craft course further up the road. My first time in an organic B&B…it was wonderful! Lovely friendly couple full of precious knowledge to impart about the beautiful area they live in. Comfy bed and tasty smiley breakfast 😊 Thank you for the lupin and cabbage seeds…my red lupin seeds are on their way to you! I hope to visit you again next Summer.

Beautiful organic gem in the heart of the Scottish Highlands

Charming little B&B in the heart of the Highlands, between Glen Affric and Loch Ness.
Hosts Pierre and Christiane are such lovely, welcoming people, offering healthy breakfasts made with locally sourced organic foods, some grown in their beautiful garden. They gave us amazing recommendations so we could explore the area, but best of all were the interesting conversations with them over/after breakfast.
We only stayed two nights, which is definitely not long enough. Without doubt we will be back for longer next time.

Many thanks to both of you for your kind review. We enjoyed your warm company and our conversations too. Thanks to you, we had another great opportunity to experiment with vegan food and we did enjoy that as well! A real gem!

We had such a lovely week-long stay at Shenval with Pierre and Christiane. It was a delight to stay in an organic B&B. They were kind enough to share tips for exploring the local area, their walking expertise was a big help. They were warm and welcoming and happy to accommodate our vegan diet. They grow lots of organic produce in their beautiful garden and this accompanied our breakfast. A restful week and a great base for exploring the Highlands. Highly recommend.

Brilliant

I stayed at Shenval for three nights for hillwalking in Glen Affric. Incredible breakfasts each morning set me up perfectly for the long walking days. Excellent hospitality from Christiane and Pierre who couldn’t have been kinder.

Absolutely wonderful!

We just spent a fabulous week with Pierre-Marie and Christiane. We were welcomed in and taken care of as if we were old friends. The hosts are charming! The food was delicious and filling, the discussions fun and interesting, the local tourist advice from their many years of experience can't be beat. A week well spent, we were sad to go, and would be delighted to return. We highly recommend taking the time to go to Shenval...it's well worth it!

So many thanks to you both for these warm words about us! Thank you as well for a wonderful week for ourselves too, we enjoyed your company tremendously and yes, it really felt as if you were old friends and we were sad to see you go. Liebevolle Gastgeber, leckeres Frühstück und gemütliches Zimmer

Pierre und Christiane, zwei Franzosen in Schottland, dass hat den Vorteil das es zum leckeren "Full cooked scottish breakfast" (alles Bio oder aus dem eigenen Garten) ausnahmsweise auch guten Kaffee gab. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich und kommunikativ und stets bereit mit guten Tipps den Urlaub zu bereichern. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich, alles ist sehr gepflegt und der Blick in den Garten beim Frühstück läßt einen den Tag gleich gut beginnen. Als wir unsere Reise fortsetzen mußten war unsere Tochter (9 J.) sehr traurig, weil sie "Pierre und Christiane vermissen würde"
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wundervoll herzliche Gastgeber

Fast eine Woche haben wir in Christianes und Pierres Bio-B&B verbracht - wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Frühstück war köstlich und sehr reichhaltig. Auch vegan war gar kein Problem. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich ruhig, ein richtiger Erholungsort. Aber das Beste an unserem Aufenthalt war die überaus große Herzlichkeit unserer Gastgeber. Sie informierten uns über Veranstaltungen, die gerade in der Nähe stattfanden, reservierten uns am Tag unserer Ankunft sogleich einen Tisch in einem der wenigen Restaurants zum Abendessen und gaben uns Hinweise (inkl. Landkarten), wo wir am besten wandern gehen sollten. Außerdem haben wir nur dank ihrem Tipp Delfine von der Küste aus beobachten können :)
Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit dort und können das B&B von ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen.
Die netten Gastgeber werden uns für alle Zeit in Erinnerung bleiben.

Außergewöhnlich und herzlich

Sehr authentisches B&B. Obwohl wir nur eine Nacht geblieben sind, fühlten wir uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Das Frühstück an einem großen Tisch im Wohnzimmer gab dem ganzen noch einen sehr familären Touch. Wer sich für eine Zeit in einer Französisch-schottischen Familie aufnehmen lassen möchte oder einfach nur gastfreundschaft erfahren will, ist hier genau richtig.

Super!

Al Shenval B&B ci si sente come a casa! Christiane e Pierre preparano delle ottime cene e colazioni che sono pure molto abbondanti (utili come carburante per poter affrontare uno dei tanti bellissimi trekkings che si possono fare nei dintorni. Noi abbiamo fatto il giro del Loch Affrich: FAVOLOSO!) Le camere sono graziose e tutta la casa in generale è pulitissima. La sera, dopo aver cenato, siamo rimasti a chiacchierare con loro in salotto con tisana e biscottini! I proprietari sono veramente molto gentili e amichevoli. Christiane poi è dolcissima! Inoltre ti sanno consigliare un sacco di posti da visitare ed escursioni che si possono fare...avrete l'imbarazzo della scelta. Insomma, ottimo B&B situato in un posto magnifico. Spero di tornare un giorno.

Einfach Klasse!

Wir waren nur eine Nacht bei Christiane und Pierre und sind so herzlich aufgenommen worden, dass wir gern viel länger geblieben wären! Diese Gastgeber sind nur zu empfehlen.
Shenval B&B ist nur ein paar Meilen abseits vom Loch Ness und so idyllisch gelegen...

infusion con los anfitrones por la noche. Un lugar muy tranquilo y hermoso. Ideal para amantes de la naturaleza y para visitar la region y ademas sin TV: ¡Un lujo!

Una meravigliosa esperienza di vita

Questo non è un B&B, ma un'esperienza di vita! I proprietari, Christiane e Pierre, sono gentilissimi e assolutamente fuori dal tempo: lui intaglia legno e lei tesse, oltre a gestire in modo eccelso questa piccola struttura immersa nel verde e a breve distanza da Loch ness. Camere semplici e carine (la mia senza servizi), colorate e decorate in modo personale. Colazione scozzese con tanti prodotti preparati in casa. NB: meraviglioso il momento serale in cui si viene invitati a bere una tisana davanti al camino e a chiacchierare con tutti gi ospiti che ne hanno voglia! Estremamente consigliato a chi si sente un po' Hippie!
