Chalet "Dominique", 2 storeys, terraced. In the resort, 500 m from the centre, 600 m from the skiing area. For shared use: well-kept terraced garden (not fenced). Stepped path (35 steps) to the house. Parking space n 9 at the house. Shop 500 m, restaurant 200 m, 7 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Haute-Nendaz, station/poste" 1.1 km, railway station "Sion" 16.8 km. Golf course (18 hole) 18 km, slopes 600 m, ski bus stop 200 m. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Tracouet 4 Vallées 600 m. Hiking paths: Les Bisses de Nendaz 800 m. Please note: ski bus (free of charge).

The best food I had in my life
Don't miss this experience if you come to Nendaz. What Cleo put in her dishes always leave me with no words! It's divine! Excellent place to have the best time with your friends or family!

Un restaurant à ne pas manquer
Une cuisine exquise et étonnante, remplie des combinaisons de saveurs les plus incroyables. Un service qui réussit à combiner la formalité et le savoir-faire des restaurants les plus exceptionnels avec une décontraction amicale qui fait que l'on se sent bienvenu et détendu. C'est tout simplement l'un des meilleurs restaurants que j'aie jamais fréquentés, caché dans les montagnes, qui ne demande qu'à être découvert.

Fine dining
We’ve been visiting Nendaz for the past 33 years. I don’t know how long they’ve been here but this is the first time for us we went to Le Vieux Chalet and what a surprise! Two very helpful and nice lady’s who, despite the language barrier, try to entertain you the best way possible but the food is really the star of the show. It’s been refreshing to dine like this here. To be fair it’s not cheap but for me it’s worth every penny. We’re definitely coming back next year!

Winter Magic✨
I came to taste, menu#34 of Cleo & her team for a second time this winter.
I opted for the food & wine pairing formula. This latest creation was sublime and once again very nice service. The originality in the presentation and the combination of flavors was great.

Une magnifique découverte à Nendaz
Un repas goûteux et savoureux, avec des produits et des condiments originaux, présenté et servi avec charme et compétence. Un accord boissons très pointu, avec un superbe vin jaune pour accompagner les fromages.
A noter : l'intéressante possibilité, pour des petits appétits, de commander le menu en demi portions et la prise en compte efficace des allergies et intolérances. Côté cadre, une préférence personnelle pour le coin chalet plutôt que le coin moderne.

Uninspiring food, amateurish service, overpriced and disappointing experience.
Complete disappointment with food and service. I had visited last year and had an excellent experience. So took my husband and adult son for tasting menu. Of 6 courses only 1 was a warm dish but the food took ages to come in all cases. We sat with no drink, even water, for 15 minutes before anything arrived. We had to keep reminding the waitress we had chosen the wine pairings so wine arrived late for dishes. The second mushroom pastry course was uninspiring with soggy pastry and an unattractive mixture of flavours. The scallop course was oddly put together with uncut and uncooked jelly textured scallops over powered by clemantines and oddly accompanied by cauliflower. None of us enjoyed that. Flavours didn’t work together at all. Beef was excellent and final desert with butternut squash very nice. The final of 4 wine pairings should have come with the last dessert only to be told the supplier had unexpectedly left the company and all they could offer was a glass of proscecco instead. We should have been told this prior to choosing the wine pairings. It didn’t go with the dessert at all which needed something less dry. The meal took 3 hours, cost 3 of us nearly chf500, and was distinctly second rate in terms of service and food. We won’t be going back for a long time.

Voilà une expérience culinaire riche en émotions.
Tout d'abord le cadre magnifique puis l'accueil charmant et enfin le menu avec accord des vins.
Explosions de sensations, papilles en ébullition constante.
Cette cheffe et son équipe tente, explore, imagine, afin de nous faire découvrir des saveurs d'ici et d'ailleurs, d'aujourd'hui et d'hier, que de sensations....
Encore merci au vieux chalet poir pour ce moment inoubliable.

Brunch at the Vieux Chalet
This is the second time that we have had brunch at the Vieux Chalet. Prices are good and the food is of course excellent. This is not your typical British or American brunch, where you make selections of huge plates from a buffet, but an experience of simple flavors and excellent quality food. The pancakes were a delight and their fruit juice is a delicious mixture of flavors. The service was excellent and we will be back soon with some friends, a perfect Sunday brunch.

Für den totalen Genuss unbedingt besuchen!
Der Abend im Vieux Chalet war eine richtige Gaumenfreude. Vor kurzem wurde das Konzept des Restaurants umgestellt und (zumindest Abends) gibt es ein Degustationsmenu der Extraklasse zu geniessen. Die sechs Gänge können wahlweise mit einer passenden Weinempfehlung abgerundet werden. Die Speisen sind sorgfältig ausgesucht und passend auf den Tellern komponiert. So ist nicht nur der Geschmack sondern auch das Aussehen einzigartig. Das junge Team lässt keine Wünsche offen. Mit liebevollen Dekorationen ist das Lokal harmonisch eingerichtet. Das Restaurant verlässt man weder hungrig, noch mit Bauchschmerzen. Ein Abend bei dem keine Geschmacksknospe zu kurz kommt, den man so schnell nicht vergisst und der jeden Rappen wert ist! Volle Punktzahl für euch, liebes Le Vieux Chalet Team!

Pure Gaumenfreude!
Wow…! Wir haben einen unvergesslichen Abend in diesem schönen Restaurant verbracht. Jeder Gang war eine Entdeckung und bei jedem Bissen erfreute sich unser Gaumen neuer Geschmäcker. Hier wird mit Liebe und Leidenschaft gekocht und hergerichtet. Das 6 Gänge-Menü hat Portionen, die für uns perfekt waren. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und dass Hunde so willkommen sind hat uns auch gefreut. Unbedingt ein Besuch wert!

Ein gelungene Wiedereröffnung
Das Personal ist freundlich und wir wurden herzlich empfangen! Das Ambiente ist fantastisch und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Speisen waren vorzüglich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Fantasie präsentiert. Man schmeckt regelrechtlich mit wieviel Passion die Köchin die Gerichte zubereitet! Die Weinkarte ist ebenfalls gut ausgewählt. Ich gehe bestimmt öfters in dieses Restaurant und kann es wärmstens empfehlen! Macht weiter so!
