Private: natural state property 800 m2, garden, lawn for sunbathing. In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system. Motor access to the house. Shop 750 m, grocery, supermarket 900 m, shopping centre 6 km, bakery 800 m, bus stop 5 m, outdoor swimming pool 650 m, indoor swimming pool 2.4 km, thermal baths "Tauern Spa" 2.4 km, bathing lake 5.7 km, lake Zeller See 6.6 km. Awesome as usual
We stay with Alpin rentals everytime in Kaprun Austria. The service is awesome, the apartment has everything you need for your stay and even more :) Definitely coming back again.
If you stay in Kaprun, definitely don't look for any other accomodation.

Good, unless you want to sleep.
So first the positives. The room is really nice, good kitchen with some utensils supplied and a decent bathroom. Easy access to 3 ski resorts, supermarket and restaurants.
However, sleeping and health is a different story. There is a bar underneath the apartments which means you will be disrupted by noise making sleep difficult. As well as the random loud music, singing and shouting at half 12 at night.
The rooms are extremely warm requiring you to have the windows open, even in winter. This seems fine, if you want to inhale thick smoke from people smoking down below. As a nonsmoker, this is vile as the room and your clothes start to smell of other people's cigarettes.
This was written during such a night.

Perfect apartment in Kaprun centre
It was a last minute booking made one day before arrival but it proved to be the perfect choice.
It's in Kaprun centre, two minutes walk from the ski bus station. If you don't want to drive to the lifts but take the free bus, it's perfectly located.
The apartment is comfortable, clean and well equipped. We had a 3 bedroom flat, with two bathrooms. We were 5 of us - perfect, but it would have been perfect for 6 as well, of course. Double beds in all rooms, enough space for all of your stuff.
The kitchen is fully equipped, you even have a capsule coffee machine with capsules. There's also a mini-washing machine in one of the cupboards (funny to see, though...), good enough to wash your daily base layer or underwear.
Living room with huge TV, may satellite channels, dvd player, portable docking station for iPhone, your own wifi network - whatever you need to feel at home. All working perfectly.
It has a big balcony from the living room/kitchen, and an other one on the other side, from two of the bedrooms.
There's underground parking, sauna in the house, and heated ski room with heated boot rack.
The whole building is made of solid quality building material, including the furniture and bathrooms.
The staff is helpful, english speaking, also a very good point to the place.
I've been to many places in Austria already for snowboarding, but this was definitely among the top 3 places I've ever been. Fully recommended for friends, but would also perfectly accommodate two families (of course not with 5 kids per family :)).

Nice view, nice apartment
I have earlier read some not soo good reviews about this hotel. If they are thrue, thing has changed for the better. Pehaps a new owner.The room we got was very clean and seemed almost new. All you need for cooking is in the kitchen. The view from the big balcony was very nice, the best in Austria so far. We were not disturbed by any other noices in the house, not sure howit is if the house is ful. It takes 1 minute to walk to the Kaprun center.
The TV was small but we still managed to look at the FIFA cup on it. And being on holiday - who needs a TV? The WIFI work 100%. Good speed and you could use several PC, Smart phone items at the same time.
Someone has earlier mentioned towels not being changed every day. Yes that is the case, if you want new towels it cost 1 EUR, but I guess n oone change towels every day at home so why is it needed on holidays? Kaprun has a Touristinformation so if you need help sith what to do you can visit it. If you have kids I can recommend going up with the Schmitten Cable car and drive a mini motorcross for 15 minutes "Freeride E Center"(there are motorcross for adults as well). There is also a for kids adventure's when you step out of the Cable car "Schmidolins Feuertaufe".
