Magnificent, high-quality Jussi’s Chalets B kelo-log villa is located in near the unique Oulanka National Park in Juuma. The Oulanka National Park is one of the ten best National Parks in Europe. Hiking routes of Karhunkierros and amazing rapids of the river Kitkajoki nearby. Well-known river Kitkajoki rapids Myllykoski and Aallokkokoski as well as waterfall Jyrävä are within a short walking distance.

Jussi´s Chalet B kelo log villa is located by the lake Alajuumajärvi. The villa is bright, tastefully decorated and has an area of 150 m². Large living room with big windows to the lake and forest, high quality kitchen and 3 spacious bedrooms (all rooms are for two people). The villa has two saunas. One inside the cabin with electric sauna stove and another with wood-burning sauna stove in a separate building by the lake. The lakeside sauna has a hot tub, which is rented separately.

In winter, you can enjoy the national park and the Karhunkierros trail by snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Alajuumajärvi is suitable for ice fishing. There is a separate cooking hut in the area. Cooking hut is shared with two villas (Jussi´s Chalet A and B) and it is a perfect place for an excursion. The bright night sky with stars and northern lights create a mystical atmosphere in the surrounding wilderness. The traditional joys in winter are lakeside sauna with its gentle streams, then rolling in the snow and taking a dip in the frozen lake (there is a hole in the ice).

In summer, you can enjoy rowing and fishing on the lake Alajuumajärvi or barbecuing or smoking fish on the terrace. You can pick berries for desserts from the nearby forests or mires. In summer, you can also catch river Kitkajoki’s trout. The short Karhunkierros trail near the villa inspires you to hike even during a nightless night. Local program service companies offer rafting on the charming river Kitkajoki and rent equipment. Canoeing day on the river Oulankajoki is an enchanting experience. Visit to Oulanka National Park visitor center and to waterfall Kiutaköngäs are good ideas for day trips in both summer and autumn.
