Great holiday
Great place to stay and play golf....food was great and the courses played really well in January..will almost definitely be returning.

Really nice golf course and good training facilities
We played 7 1/2 rounds here during our week here and we really enjoyed it.
All three slopes are good and challenging and was a pleasure to play.
We were well served by all staff we engaged with and things just worked as it should.
We had an extra round of golf mid week and close to tee time the starter told us there was a group in front if we would mind maybe to start on a less busy slope. As we did not he drove and checked if it was clear and gave us permission to starton another slope, drove off and collected newscore cards for our new slopes. That is good service and we did 18 holes in 3 hrs and 15 min.
We would play here any day again if we get the chans.

Vila Sol Golf
Playing a round of golf at Vila Sol golf course in the mid December sunshine is an almost surreal experience. My golf partner Jim and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and played well on this superb course. After the recent rains, we were delighted how dry the fairways and greens were. The reception staff could not have been nicer too.

Golf day
After reading a number of negative reviews, I was a little anxious about playing Vila Sol but we had a great round and on Saturday. The course was really quiet despite there being loads of groups around the clubhouse. The course was in good condition even though there had been lots of rain in preceding days. Not particularly challenging but some interesting holes, and good wide fairways. Lots of amazing homes/villas around the edges.Staff were helpful and friendly ( the young guy doing the buggy’s was super friendly and helpful) I As others have said, it is a little pricey (€55 for a buggy) but nothing outrageous and food / drink in the clubhouse were decent value. Don’t miss the Bobby Robson sculpture/seat overlooking the 18th green. Being so close to Vilamoura is another asset. Overall an enjoyable day and would love to go back,

Not Worth It
Not a good experience here. There were no buggies available on the day we played. As a result we only played 9 holes as the course was not designed for dragging golf carts especially in the heat. Found the staff uncooperative and disinterested. Carts cost €10 which was at least 3 times the normal rate elsewhere. Won't be going back.
