A fast ferry will take you for day outings to the nearby famous islands of Spetses and Hydra, each with their unique atmospheres and exciting night life. Both islands offer multiple hiking trails, biking and famous beaches.
Take day trips by car to i) the famous ancient amphitheatre of Epidaurus with its summer theater festivals and music, ii) the town of Nafplion and its remarkable hilltop fortess, Palamidi , iii) Methana volcano and iv) the famous wine region of Nemea. Do not miss the beautiful nearby village of Ermioni and its Thursday authentic farmer's market.
Hike the Katafyki Canyon to Ermioni Village. Visit the Didyma caves and eat out at various gorgeous tavernas, all literally on the beach. Dine in the fishing port of Kilatha !
